5 psychological issues that can cause impotence

In some cases of erectile dysfunction, men are totally unable to get an erection while in others they have trouble a sad man sitting on the street maintaining it for a longer span of time.

Though there can be a lot of physical reasons for ed, but there are some common psychological reasons too, which with professional help can easily be treated.

The inability to perform in bed can be shattering for the self-confidence of both the man and his partner.

Here are few of the common emotional reasons of impotence.

1. Stress

Stress can affect your performance in bed. Getting too overwhelmed by the pressure of your responsibilities at home or at work can make it difficult for you to relax and get into the mood for sex.

Stress caused by fear or worry can leave you with a feeling of uneasiness, making it difficult for you to get an erection.

2. Anxiety

Once a man experiences erectile dysfunction, he tends to get overly anxious that he won't be able to perform in bed again.

It raises the feelings of self-consciousness during sexual intercourse making it even more difficult to get an erection.

This feeling of anxiety can also be because of many other reasons like relationship problems, past sexual abuse, lack of sexual knowledge or even being in a new relationship.

All these can contribute to the lack of performance in sexual intercourse.

3. Depression

The feeling of extreme sadness due to any possible reason like a bad relationship, a bad career or even a past trauma can result in ed in many men.

Depression leads to more fatigue and tiredness, which lowers your libido.

Even the drugs used to treat depression may lower your sex drive and make it harder to get an erection.

4. Low self-esteem

A negative self-image can lead to performance anxiety and make you worry about how you are going to perform in bed.

Low self-esteem can be a result of anything related to your body image, your past experiences or even an underlying feeling of guilt.

5. Lack of interest

Low libido can dampen your interest in sex and also result in ed.

Loss of interest in sex can be due to anything related to relationship problems, a result of medication or even progressing age.

Other factors like anger or anxiety also contribute to the loss of interest in sex.

These emotional issues can affect your physical ability to get or maintain an erection. I am way too depressed to do anything. I want to forget somethings in life. It is difficult moving on. It makes me feel miserable and helpless. I have not intentions of hurting myself but when I get too much into stuff that is bothering me I loose control. My anger is on its peak and I seem to be quite helpless about that too. 5 Ways to Fight Depression If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. 1.Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2.Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3.Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Take time to play with a friend or a pet, or do something fun for yourself. Find something to laugh about — a funny movie, perhaps. Laughter helps lighten your mood. 5. Try to notice good things. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. If depression has you noticing only the negative, make an effort to notice the good things in life. Try to notice one thing, then try to think of one more. Consider your strengths, gifts, or blessings. Most of all, don't forget to be patient with yourself. Depression takes time to heal. Take the following treatment - 1. Take 4 tablespoon of aloevera juice with one tablespoon of honey after dinner. 2. Take 4 tablespoon amla juice + 2 tablespoon honey on an empty stomach in the morning. 3. Take chandraprabhavati 2 tablets twice a day. 4. Avoid junk, bakery & spicy food. 5. Maida is very harmful for body, so avoid it. 6. Have all your meals on time. 7. Drink lots of water 8. Fruits rich in vitamin c and green leafy vegetables help in acne there is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

Hi. In fever the primary drug / medicines should be used paracetamol. Avoid self medication. Avoid stress. Drink warm water after meal. Take fiber rich meal, dalia, khichhdi, veg soup, juice, tulsi water, tulsi tea, geloy juice is effective in fever. Do blood tests cbc, mp, widal, urine r/m and consult again or with physician.

Sir I have done hair straightening 2 months before when I was staying in kerala. Now I shifted to bangalore. Due to water change or climate change do not know my hair is falling so much. Also there is a dandruff problem. I have used anti dandruff shampoo but still no use. Hair fall and pimples on face are unbearable. Hair fall is common now a days. Due to stress and eating habits. And some illness, like anemia, thyroid and hereditary problems. Take following homoeo medicine. Acid hydroflouric 30 (30 ml sbl company). 1 drop 3 times per day x 14 days on tongue. Do not take anything 15 min before after medicine. Also use arnica montana q 30ml + 100 ml pure coconut oil mix and use before wash twice weekly. Use arnica homoeopathic shampoo take plenty water 3 to 4 liters per day. Eat proper food, carbohydrate, protein, minerals, fruits. Avoid outer food.

Follow these best tips to lightens and remove the dark spots- 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the spots. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will remove the spots definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 5. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. 6. Avoid use of any cosmetic products. 7. Avoid continous long hours exposure of sunlight.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Read the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!
