I have cough from last six month , I took lots of of medicines and syrup checkup also but not recover , give me some suggestions. For this.

M.Sc - Dietitics / Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
Milk and turmeric: Besides ginger tea or masala chai, warm milk and turmeric mixture is a popular and effective way to fight a cough. This mixture is applicable for children and adults too. Turmeric and milk are also healthy ingredients needed for healthy living. Lemon, cinnamon and honey Prepare syrup of Lemon, honey and cinnamon to prevent a common cold. Here's how to: Put some honey in a pan, fill it to half and use a double boiler until it is thin. Then add a pinch of cinnamon and add lemon. Have this syrup to fight a cold. Gargle therapy: Salt-water gargle is an age-old therapy for cough, but you can also add turmeric to it. Salt and turmeric fight cough and will give you relief that you really need. Honey and brandy: brandy keeps your chest warm or increases body heat, while honey helps fight a cough. A teaspoon of brandy and honey improves cough. Water: Drink luke warm water to fight a common cold, cough and sore throat. Drinking warm water reduces the inflammation in the throat. Plus, water helps replenish the fluids in the body and washes out the infection. Amla for prevention: Amla is a strong immunomodulator and protects from the onset of many diseases if taken regularly. It ensures the proper functioning of the liver and improves blood circulation. Special spiced tea: Add tulsi, ginger and black pepper while preparing your tea. These three ingredients play an important role in fighting a common cold and cough. Honey, lime juice and warm water: Lime water or nimbu pani is a perfect dose to improve digestion and for the circulation system. If you add honey to lime water and warm water it can be a solution to controlling cold and cough. Flaxseeds for cold and cough: Boil flaxseeds until it thickens and strain it. Add a few drops of lime juice and honey. Consume the mixture for cold and cough relief. Ginger and salt: Cut ginger into julians and add salt to it. Chew on these ginger julians to fight cold, cough and a sore throat. Ginger tulsi mixture: Take the juice of ginger, crush tulsi leaves to it and add honey. Consume it to get relief from a cough. Saute garlic: Saute a few garlic cloves in ghee and consume this when warm. It may sound like a bitter concoction, but it can help you fight the common cold and cough. Jaggery solution: Boil water with black pepper, add cumin and jaggery to it. It will give you relief from chest congestion. Carrot juice: It is not a common home remedy to fight a cold and cough, but carrot juice helps to fight a cough. It may be unconventional but it makes an interesting drink. Drink it to prevent cough and reap the benefits of carrot juice.

Penis Health Sex Tips for Busy Lovers!

Penis Health Sex Tips for Busy Lovers!

Text the boss. Answer emails. Pick up the kids. Buy groceries. Pay bills. People today are busier than they've ever been - arguably, too busy. Certainly when couples find themselves too busy for sex, something has to give. Assuming a guy has maintained proper penis care and the issue is availability rather than ability, men (and their partners) may find these tips valuable as a way of helping busy lovers make time for sex - and by extension, better penis health.

1. Start the day right

Most guys assume this means getting in a quick one before work - and, hey, there's nothing wrong with that. But most busy couples feel a little too time-pressed for that. Instead, couples need to make some time just to be together. An ideal way is to set the alarm for, say, five minutes earlier than usual. When the alarm goes off, just wrap arms around each other and cuddle up for a few minutes. A little nuzzling and kissing is good, but it's more about just being together.

2. Get clean together

After a few days of cuddling in the mornings, set the alarm 10 minutes earlier every so often and take a shower together as well. Again, this doesn't have to include actual sex - although it's fine if it does. But it's more about being naked together, running hands along each other's bodies. Sure, it may mean that someone - especially the guy - may get aroused and feel a little frustrated if there's no time to act on that arousal. But it may also make a couple more committed to setting aside time when they can fulfill each other.

3. Keep it up during the day

Even if there's been no time to plan for sex, keep reminding the partner of how much they matter. Playful (or suggestive) little texts, an email with a link to something that interests them, a quick phone call - all this can help keep both parties feeling connected and anxious to share themselves more fully.

4. Schedule it

Sure, making an appointment for sex seems not-so-sexy. But not having sex at all is the ultimate not-so-sexy. The most basic of tips for busy people is to make an unbreakable date and time and keep to it. It may mean getting the kids out of the house, skipping the gym, letting the boys have their night out on their own, turning the cell phone off - some kind of sacrifice needs to be made. But it is worth it.

5. Enjoy it

This may seem unnecessary, but a surprising number of busy lovers put so much pressure on actually getting to have sex that they don't enjoy it when they do. Make the evening relaxed and fun. Don't worry about whether there will be an orgasm - or even necessarily if there will be penetration. Let the night be about getting back in touch with someone important and exploring their physical and emotional self. Go in without expectations and enjoy whatever comes along in whatever form.

Another of the more popular sex tips for men, busy or not: Be sure your penis is in good health. Regular application of a top notch penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) is perfect for this. When choosing a crème, see if its ingredients include a powerful antioxidant, such as alpha lipoic acid. Good antioxidants pack a punch that debilitates free radicals, knocking them out before they can create the oxidative stress that makes penis skin look aged and unhealthy. The crème should also include pantothenic acid, aka vitamin B5. Pantothenic acid is crucial for cell metabolism and the maintenance of healthy penile tissue.

While 85% of women were satisfied with the size and proportion of their partner's penis men were less sure of themselves.1  45% of men believe they have a small penis.  It has been concluded that flaccid lengths range around 7 to 10 centimetres (2.8-3.9 inches).  Flaccid circumferences range around 9 to 10 centimetres (3.5 to 3.9 inches).  Erect lengths range around 12 to 16 centimetres (4.7 to 6.3 inches).  Erect circumference is around 12 centimetres (4.7 inches).  A higher BMI and older age appear to be weakly associated with a shorter erect penis length.  Male concern about whether penile size lives up to the desires of females seems to be Largely misplaced.. One study suggested that while the majority of women, some 85%, were satisfied with the size and proportion of their partner's penis, men were less sure of themselves.1 Almost half of men in the study (45%) believed they had a small penis - yet the researchers reported that small penis size was actually rare. The average penis size to be as follows: Average length for an erect penis is 14.2 cm (5.6 inches) Average circumference of an erect penis is 12.2 cm (4.8 inches). Men who want surgery to increase the length of their penis should try non-invasive methods like penile traction devices or extenders first, and in some cases, even try therapy to make them feel more confident about their bodies. There is no proven scientific method to increase size, girth or grip of penis although many false claims have been propagated by advertisements. The size is determined by an individual’s genetic build and length actually has no relation with sexual pleasure or satisfaction as many wrongly believe. Be happy with your individual qualities nature has bestowed on you.

What are the DO's and DON'Ts to be taken care of immediately before and after having meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast) Please guide me,

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
What are the DO's and DON'Ts to be taken care of immediately before and after having meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast)...
Healthy eating habits go further than just food. What we do directly after we eat can have an adverse effect on our bodies. These habits may not seem harmful, but can cancel out all of the clean eating we’ve been doing. Here are some post-meal do’s and don’ts that will help you optimize your digestive system and allow you to look and feel better. DON’T Drink Tea Some people like a cup of tea right before or right after dinner with dessert. The high acidity of the tea leaves though affects your digestive system. Acid will harden any protein from your meal and make it very difficult to digest; it also decreases the amount of iron your body will absorb. If you’d like to have a post-meal cup of tea, wait at least an hour after dinner to allow for digestion. DO Drink Water Drinking water before a meal can help you feel fuller and therefore eat less. It will also help your digestive system by breaking down food and absorbing nutrients and softening your stool to prevent constipation. DON’T Go to Sleep When people are trying to lose weight, they’re advised not to eat too close to bedtime. When we sleep, our bodies don’t digest food properly. Sleeping on a full stomach can lead to a not-so-great snooze and leave you feeling full and groggy. DO Go For a Walk Health experts advise against a brisk walk or exercise right after a meal, since your blood will flow away from your stomach and hinder digestion. Taking a moderate walk after a meal though will burn up the sugar in your blood and prevent it from turning into fat. DON’T Eat Fruit with Your Meal Fruit is made up of simple sugars that are easily broken down by your stomach acid. Most fruits are also high in nutrients like vitamin C and potassium. Eating fruit, however, along with any other type of food, can hold up your intestines and cause the other contents in your stomach to spoil. Breakfast time is the best time to enjoy some fruit, but be sure to wait at least an hour before ingesting any other food. DO Improve Your Posture You’ve probably heard this a hundred times from your mother or other relatives. Bad posture can lead to not only back problems, but intestinal issues as well. When you slouch, your internal organs get squished and prevent you from digesting your food. Sit or stand up straight after your meal to improve the flow of digestion. DON’T Bathe Bathing is great in general. Bathing right after a meal though will direct blood flow away from your stomach the way exercise does, and slow your digestion system.

Numbness may also be caused by extremely cold atmosphere depending on place where u live. I suggest you to clean intestines to expel AMA to strike laziness as a first step. Then pranayam is required. Then anti Vatic treatment is required. It takes not less than two to three months by safe Ayurveda treatment without side effects. Provided you are sure u r not diabetic. If diabetic, treatment would differ and for longer time.

Sleeping on your left side helps to prevent snoring and has many additional benefits too. Reducing weight and eating less of sugary products also helps. Benefits of sleeping on left side: 1. Prevents snoring. 2. Pregnant women get the advantage of better blood circulation, flowing of blood to uterus, fetus, and kidneys and relief from back ache. 3. Helps in proper digestion after meals. 4. Gives relief to people having back and neck pain. 5. Helps in filtering and purifying toxins, lymph fluids and wastes. 6. Prevents serious illness as accumulated toxins are flushed out easily. 7. Liver and kidneys work better 8. Smooth bowel movements 9. Reduces workload on heart and its proper functioning 10. Prevents acidity and heartburn 11. Prevents fatigue during morning 12. Fats gets digested easily 13. Positive impact on brain 14. It delays onset of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer 15. It is also considered to be the best sleeping position according to Ayurveda. Everyone has a different habit of sleeping and it might be difficult for them to change it. But now that we know about so many benefits of sleeping on the left side, we must give it a try. After all, it’s a question of getting healthier day-by-day and it will be no-big change if you make efforts. So, till now if you were sleeping on either right side, back or on stomach, try sleeping on your left side and see the benefits you get. Keep a check!

Too much hair on a female's body is called hirsuitism and it is mainly due to hormonal imbalance in the body. Polycystic ovarian syndrom which leads to hormonal imbalance is quite common in females. I would advise you to follow a strict healthy diet and exercise daily for 40-45 minutes. Also, on a safer side please get your thyroid checked.
