Sir, On 6.4. 2016 I got an injury on my back. As per CT Scan and MRI report there is a compression fracture on d12 vertebra. I am been advised best rest for 3 weeks and further advised to take a bed rest of 3 weeks. Please let me know when the bones will be joined. I have been advised to wear a brace during any sitting activities like eating. Etc. My body weight is 88 kgs. Age 40 years.

Dear lybrate-user, feeling of imbalance and headache may cause you problems. I need to know the extent of those problems, like what all routine activity you are not able to do. After that diagnosing appropriately is important, both hypertension and its tablets may cause problems. It is good that you quit smoking. In cold turkey way, you may get few withdrawal symptoms. For controlling them you may need for few weeks, may be 12 weeks, nicotine replacement as gum or patch. Pain in head may be a withdrawal of nicotine. But imbalance is not a usual withdrawal symptom.

Keep hair clean. Make sure that your scalp and hair are always clean. It will help your hair grow faster. Dirt clogs the hair follicles, which makes it more difficult for hair to grow. However, do not shampoo every day, as men’s hair get easily damaged, and excessive shampooing can dehydrate hair and cause breakage. Shampoo twice a week while cleanse hair with conditioner daily.

Resting at night plays an important role in regulating your daily health and your level of energy throughout a day. Also, not only the quantity but the quality of sleep is also important for a healthy lifestyle. Bedtime habits do play a vital role in shaping up your lifestyle and personality as a whole. Here are many lifestyle habits that can help you to get sound sleep. Excess sleep can be due to anaemia, hypothyroidism or general weakness and a blood test is needed and you may contact me personally by lybrate site for further advice 1. Make regular and a fixed sleep pattern: going to sleep and waking up the same time every day helps to maintain an equilibrium in the sleep-wake cycle called diurnal rhythm. If this balance is maintained, then your body will be accustomed to this pattern and as a result, you will feel less tired and fresh throughout the day 2. Maintain a definite dietary regulation: you should also maintain a proper diet plan and observe the consequences/effects of the foods that you are eating and the fluids that you are drinking on your sleep pattern. Taking a good and properly nutritious diet on a daily basis will help you to stay healthy and help your natural sleep-wake cycle. 3. Ensure that your room has mild or dim lighting or darkness if you prefer: the level of light also matters at the time of your sleep. But, if you are consistently having long naps during the day then you are bound to have sleep issues during the night. So it is advisable to sleep early and wake up early for a healthy schedule. 6) regular exercise: exercising regularly helps to improve the overall quality of sleep by making you tired at night and sending you to bed more efficiently. A curved penis simply can be a result of individual anatomy. The direction that an erect penis takes depends on the proportion of crus (penis under the skin) to exposed penis. Men with a shorter crus, and thus a longer penis, are more likely to have an erection that points downward, while an erect penis that has a longer crus will probably point outward, or even straight up. Sometimes the penis also bends to the left or to the right. I think in your case bending may be due to short crus. In the vast majority of cases, the curve falls well within the norms of most men and should not be a deterrent for a relationship. If, however, your penis has a pronounced curve or bends sharply to the left or right — especially if penetration is impossible or if an erection is painful — you should see a urologist.

You may be having hyperacidity for which you are having stomach pain very frequently. You should have milk at regular intervals milk is a good antacid. Do not keep your stomach empty for longer duration which may lead to gastric ulcers.

1. I am having diabetes since past 15 years and mf Fasting sugar ranges from 130 to 150 and PP 160 to 180 and I take 1 tablet of Gemmer forte 2 mg after breakfast .Please advise on how to bring sugar under control . 2. I got my angioplsty done in 2012 . I am taking 3 tablet - clopilet 75 mg , seloken xl 25mg.Crestor 10 mg. I get acidity frequently and feel tired .Please advise 3. I feel tired very early after a walk or some work . Please advise on what type of exercise should be conducted.

Answer to your questions are not so easy that can be given in few words. Your Diabetologist and Cardiologist are best persons who can give you effective advice. Possibly your diet is to be adjusted by a dietitian under supervision of your Diabetologist. You might need more calorie but avoiding increase of CHO and Fat component of your diet. Your protein quantity may have to be increased, of course if your Kidney function is alright. For Exercise, Brisk walking (at your highest comfortable speed) daily, 6 days a week is required. Duration is minimum 30 minutes if you are not overweight. If you feel tired you take a break to begin with. But complete 30 minutes walking. Yes use walking shoe while you walk.

Mr. Lybrate-user, diabetes after certain years of presence does cause ed in a large number of patients, particularly if blood sugar levels are not in control. Sugar levels are considered in control if fasting is about 100 mg and pp 150 to 160 mg/100ml. And hba1c%<7. If this not maintained then all the long term complications associated with dm are often seen. Hence, it is necessary to control sugar levels as close to normal as possible. In your case with a bmi of 39.94 kgs/m2, you have morbid obesity, which is one of the main causes for diabetes and its problems. Drugs alone will not help. You need to seriously work on weight reduction. Even a 10 % reduction will be greatly beneficial. Plus there are some drugs which might temporarily be helpful.

Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

Tips for male sexuality:
1. Masturbation is not a crime and 1-2 times in a week is normal. But getting addicted to it after seeing porn literature is harmful as it reduces your sexual stamina.
2. Penis size normally is 6- 8 inches. But if it is shorter than this, dont be anxious as if you have good vaginal penetration it does not matter.
3. There is no fixed normal time to ejaculate. One can have early ejaculation if he is overstimulated or having first time sex. Delayed climax shown in porn movies are artificially shown and not at all real. So please do not make it a role model in real life.

Dear lybrate user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. In most of the cases you can clear the problem yourself. Phimosis could cause moderate to severe pain while having vaginal intercourse. Apply oil on your foreskin and on the glans. Move the foreskin forward and back slowly without hurting you much. Because the oil is lubricant, it will be easier than without oil. Do this forward and back movement 20 times several times in a day. Repeat the same every day for around one month. You will get the elasticity and you will be able to retract the foreskin completely. In case if there is no result from the above massage, you can always go for a minor surgical procedure called circumcision. Take care.
