I'm 21 now. From last few days I feel painful back pain. What do I do now for this ?

Backache in young age is commonly due to 1. Muscle strain resulting from improper posture. 2. Intervertebral disc bulge or prolapse. Follow these to get relief. 1. Take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen round the clock for pain relief 2. Take rest for 3 to 4 days but avoid total bed rest. 4. Do back strengthening and stretching exercises daily once pain is relieved. 5. Apply analgesic cream over back followed by warm fomentation. 6. Keep pillow behind your knees at bedtime. While sleeping on sides keep pillow between knees. 7. Do not bend and lift weights. 8. If back pain is accompanied with radiating leg pain or tingling, numbness or weakness, consult your doctor immediately don't worry such backaches resolve with proper care as advised above. I feel pain in my knees and legs. If I walk for a while I get very much tired and feel pain. I take rest for a long hours also. What should I do to make feel myself healthy. I do not feel strong enough. My age is 23.

Advice... Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

I am having problem in my neck while sitting for long hours. I am experiencing this problem from the past few days only.

Neck pain 1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2. Apply volini gel twice daily 3. Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest if you have recurrent attack of neck pain a) take x ray/mri cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b) sometimes it could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) do physio therapy and neck exercise after consulting physiotherapist.

I'm 22 years old n i'm suffering from cold since last 3 month. and now my lungs muscles also paining from that that due to cold n in the morning when I wake up there was continues cough is coming out by my nose n my mouth atleast 6-7 times sneeze continuously. What to do? Please help.

Hi go for breathing exercise 3time in aday. Avoid dust partical. Use mask when you go out side. Avoide smokeable things. Consult me after 4days.

I am suffering from back bone pain it usually pains me after I play or I take heavy load and on cloudy day also.

It's Vata vitiation. Pl start bathing with hot water, pour hot water on back. Avoid loads. Massage gently with Mahavishgarbh oil warmed a bit. Drink hot milk and Turmeric twice a day. Report after ten days for further proper medicines if needed.

I am taking tapal 50 mg. Daily I take 6 to 8 tab. I am taking from last 5 yrs. The ortho Dr. Given to me because I was affected back pain in lower side. Now I become addicted. If I not take it I get loose motion. Decrease energy. Bad cold occurred due to it neck also badly effected. So pl suggest me alternative who can I get rid of this ?

I have been suffering from triggered thumb for last 4 months applied ultra sound waves for 4 weeks, no change, difficult movement cum bending of thumbs that already have become stiff. Suggest treatment.

I am a 26 year old man my back is paining whenever I wake up what should I do ? does yoga can solve this problem or some preferential exercise will do ?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Hi I am 39 year female and have alot of pain in back of my foot please help which is leading to leg pain as I am working women so I am constantly standing, walking.

Dear pain in the back of foot may be due to excessive strain on your legs as you are constantly standing or walking. I would suggest you to take some rest in between to begin with. Further, take some self-stretches of the calf, hamstrings and the quadriceps muscles as frequently as you can as they'll hardly consume a minute or two. Try hot water immersion immediately before going to bed. This will surely help.

Good morning. My right wrist had a slightly twisted, was not a actual fracture. Had a plaster for 3 weeks however it did not get cured completely. It is not painful unless I twist it forward and backward. Please advise should I go n have a regular meals to fix this. Or should I consult doctor again.

Hey doc I am having pain in my right shoulder. It's like a restricted movement . It occurs mainly during swimming, bowling (cricket) and gymming (while doing chin-ups) . Exercises would do the help or I need proper medication ? Suggest some exercises . Thank you .

My dad's nature appears to be very unnatural for eg: yesterday he had gone out in a wedding and then after coming back home he was confused whether he had come back with his car only or with others car and then he was very stressed that he will be prisoned for the case of robbery of a car. So, is it a serious mental problem. Can you please suggest a solution for this.

Hello lybrate user, c2 vertebral fracture is a serious condition if the fracture is displaced. You need to consult a spine surgeon. But strict bed rest and use of a hard cervical collar is usually recommended. Get your mri scan done if not done yet. Thank you.

Hello Dr. I am 23 years old From last two months there is severe pain in my left hip joint. I checked out to my family Dr. who said after looking to my x-ray reports that I have calcium deficiency. What kind of food should I eat, and can I have sex once a week.

Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit and you can have sex as per your comfort.
