None of the toothpaste can give you relief from pain, paste is just a medium to keep the teeth clean. If you have pain with your teeth then you should visit a dentist so that he can just examine that you are having generalized teeth pain or gum problem, or there is some particular tooth which is carious & giving pain, accordingly the treatment plan will vary, scaling or fillings or root canal treatment.

Teeth need round the clock protection. Brush and floss after every meal, visit dentist every six months.

Removing the plaque from the teeth during the orthodontic treatment is very necessary. By using a wire brush, gently clean between brackets (under the wires) to get the plaque off.

Most of the time orthodontic treatment is the best option, but I need to see your photographs and xrays to comment further.

The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed. •Medications for toothache: Advise C. Amox 500mg 1-1-1, thrice, T. Metrogyl 400mg 1-1-1, thrice, T. Imol 1-1-1, thrice (contraindicated in conditions with gastric ulcer, asthma, wheezing, and allergy), and C. Becosules 1-0-0 once, all for 3 days only.

Hello Doctor, I am Raju and age 33 year's old and suffering from teeth problem, as my corner teeth & gums got damaged and beside teeth became sensitive. And when I consulted dentist, they suggested for removal of all 4 corner teeth and 1 thing I came to know that is it is very risky if we remove corner teeth and it leads to decrease of eye sight. And am unable to drink Cool and Hot liquid's and other items. Kindly suggest me for the same. Thanks, Raju.

Hello Doctor,
I am Raju and age 33 year's old and suffering from teeth problem, as my corner teeth & gums got damaged...
Hello, I understand your concern. It is a big misconception that removal of teeth (especially upper) can damage the eyesight. Surprisingly, removal of teeth has nothing to do with eyes! So don't worry about that. For any seriously damaged teeth, there are two common options, either root canal, or removal/extraction. Since your doctor has already suggested removal, he might not have found the teeth restorable and you should hence go for removal. Till then, you can take any medications suggested by your dentist for symptomatic relief. Feel free to consult me, too. Take care and get well soon.

Visit a dentist. If its only deposits, it can be cleaned. If not than other measures can be taken to hide them.
