Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg apply hot fomentation twice daily. Up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear lybrate user, 1) where exactly is the pain located? upper back / lower back 2) is it a radiating pain (the pain goes till the thigh or leg) or non-radiating (located only to one point) pain? 3) if radiating - consult a physiotherapist for diagnosis followed by treatment 4) if non radiating - go for hot fermentation twice a day (will help the muscles relax which were going for wear and tear because of over use). Perform back strengthening exercises to avoid relapse or further damage to the muscles. Regards!

Dear lybrate user use hot pack 15 minutes twice a day and back stretching exercise. Avoid forward bending, heavy weight lifting, jerk, sitting maximum 45 minutes continue, sit with back support.

Hello sir, Apply hot water fementation 3-4 times daily. Do Mild calf muscle stretch exercises. Do ankle pumping movement. Avoid long time standing, walking. If your over weight try to reduce it.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. To loose weight -step 1 stop taking sugar. Step 2 take a plate of salad just before meals for ever.

The most common form of morning stiffness and pain is due to muscle imbalances and poor conditioning of the muscles themselves. Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -a physiotherapist can tell you when to begin stretching and strengthening exercises and learn how to safely, easily, stretch and strengthen the weak and tight areas of your lower back and hips which cause pain while sleeping. 1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal and knee exercises from Physiotherapist. 3. Don't sit on floor 4. Don't lift heavy things 5. Don't do forward bending. 6. Do hot fermentation twice a day. 7. Apply volini cream before sleeping 8. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

This is my MRI report knee joint right there is moderate synovial effusion and STIR hyperintensity seen in sub-articular region of lateral tibia femoral condyle suggestive of marrow edema there is near complete disruption of the ACL in intercondylar groove which appears thickness and hyperintense on PD/T2/STIR sequences. However it is seen at his normal attachment sites. The PCL is bucked what is the best treatment for me?

Hello dear, you seem to have a complete gr. 3 acl tear, as shown by the mri, which is now a days a very common injury sustained while playing games like football or involving a fall etc. Nowadays treatment for this type of injury is fairly simple and it involves an arthroscopic acl reconstruction using tendon grafts from your own thigh muscles, namely the semitendinosus and the gracilis muscles. After the surgery you will be pain free and be able to resume your day to day activities within 5-6 weeks time and return to sports and other activities in about 6-9 months time. Hope this helps.

Is there any way to rebuild the kneee cartilage in 22 year old female. Cartilage has been lost due to arthritis, but now arthritis has been cured as the crp level has come to normal. There are no pain and swelling in knees. Only lesser cartilage, due to which legs have bent.
