Hello lybrate user if there s Only joint pain without any infection then simply you can do warm water hand exercises daily and try to take short breaks /intervals while doing household &kitchen work. exercises with spongy ball and hand exerciser will be helpful.keep in mind do exercises with some rest time thrice a day.

You must try to loose your weight first by avoiding carbohydrates, sugar fat etc. do massage if your knee at night daily with seasame oil. Also you may take Rhus Tix 30 thrice a day. It will be better if you may consult on line.

What is the natural treatment for back pain?
Most probably you are suffering from oa of knee. Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) is quite safe & gives uniformly good results, in our hands. We have well equipped center in delhi. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Surgery should be done when patient is still active & will be able to take benefit of surgery. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Kindly show me x- rays before a final decision can be taken. You will be thoroughly investigated before surgery is under taken. Risk in surgery is less than the risk in crossing road.

I got an injury while playing cricket. Suddenly while running to pick the ball. Injured my right leg near knee. I also took x-ray. No fracture in it. It was happen one month back. Now I am not comfortable with leg. During walk etc. Is there any possibility for ligament tear. How to recover from it. If once ligament torn. There is no possibility to work like normal? How long it ll take to active leg as before to incident occurs? I want to lead a normal life again. Advise me.

There are 4 major ligaments and two menisci in the knee joint. Treatment and recovery depends upon which component is injured. Diagnosis can only be confirmed by mri. But you can wait and watch, start some quadriceps and hamstring strengthening exercise. If things don't improve in 1 month, go to an orthopaedic surgeon who will then probably advice mri.

Dear lybrate user, your back pain might b postural defect, please, correct it, first, take, calcium, vit'd. Take, homoeo medicine @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @ arnica mont 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Avoid to bend to lift heavy weight. Cold intake, cold exposure. Take, apple, mushrooms, carrots, cheese, milk, spinach. Please, report, wkly.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

My right knee is paining below the knee socket since last three days It does't allow to fold leg backward.

Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If no relief in 4_5 days, then inform again.

Respected sir, I am 35 years old, and I have pain problem in back and in knees. And one more thing is that I when I come from outstation then there is big pain in my head and then vomiting and after some time I get relief from my head pain if more then I go to doctor then they give me injection and I get relief, they tell me this is due to food those I have eat out of station. Since you have not mentioned your age. But you have been working out shows you must be in young to middle age bracket probably. Ideally if there is pain only during specific activities then probably it's the mechanical pain which arises due to wrong posture and weak musculature. You should see someone for muscle strengthening exercises and some ergonomic training. Also you should do a guided workout. Regards.

Back pain is a common problem in most of the age groups. It needs elaborate evaluation of pain particularly in your age. Even mechanical stress to your spine with your daily working style can trouble you a lot. Try consulting orthopaedic surgeon to rule out other causes and if you are diagnosed with mechanical back pain, I would suggest you to start with low back strengthening exercises by a physiotherapist.
