I am a 22 yo male. I am pretty much embarrassed by my excessive sweating. I sweat a lot after I workout and even in a normal day walking for a while make me sweat a lot. I want to know how normal is this and are there any ways to reduce it. Thank-you in advance.

BHMS, MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Vellore
Dear lybrate-user the excessive sweating is normal in some individual. The excessive perspiration is to cool down your body temperature. You no need to panic or worry about it. Unless if you sweat like this, you will be in trouble, hence your body sweats profusely. If you body temperature is normal or metabolism are normal, the perspiration will decrease. You do not worry about it, especially more perspiration is common in summer. You just forget it, and be happy. Thank you.

What are the symptoms of heartburning. How we can control it. What are its reasons. What type of food should we take.

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS

Here are tips to prevent Acidity/GERD. -Relax and eat food slowly;Take time to eat- don't rush. Avoid skipping breakfast. - Eat smaller meals;Don't overeat -Limit fluids intake during meals. As it increases stomach distension. -Avoid foods and drinks that trigger acidity (e.g. Fatty ,Spicy foods, onions, garlic, peppermint, chocolate, coffee, tea, citrus fruits or juices, tomatoes, cola or alcohol) -Stop smoking. & Avoid alcohol;Stress may increase stomach acids -Wear loose-fitting clothes.Tight clothes or belts can constrict your stomach. -Lose weight; Extra fat places pressure on abdomen, pushing gastric juices up -Do daily exercise.like walking; It keeps you upright, allowing gravity to aid digestion -Don't lie down after eating.Wait at least 2-3 hours after meal before sleeping. Avoid late night snacks .Elevate the head end of bed by 6-8 inches. Sleep in left lateral position. -Review the medications;that cause acidity: like pain relievers/ antibiotics/Iron tablets HOME REMEDIES:.Dried ginger ,dried fennel or Ripened guava can speed up digestion of food -Juices-Citrus drinks such as orange, tomato juice ,grapefruit, and pineapple juice are very acidic and can cause acid reflux. Other juices like apple, carrot, aloe vera,-are less acidic and thus safe.. -TREATMENT: -Antacids: for mild symptoms, like SUCRAMAL/DIGENE/Mucaine gel, may give relief. -For severe cases, tablet Pantocid –DSR/Sompraz-D/Rabicip-D.These are taken once/twice daily before meals as these reduce acid production in the stomach.

I am 21years old one year I have a piles problem I go to doctor and get medicine piles ointment and piles tablet but it cure the pain and bleeding then repeat the problem is come itching and pain look like a injection I am very sad please help what is the permanent cure for this piles please I thing a surgery please advised me sir.

MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
In the majority of cases, piles resolve on their own without the need for any treatment. Treatments can help significantly reduce the discomfort and itching that many patients experience Diet - piles can be caused by too much straining when doing bowel movements, which is the result of constipation. A change in diet can help keep the stools regular and soft. This involves eating more fiber, such as fruit and vegetables, or switching your cereal breakfast to bran. Water is the best drink, and the patient may be advised to increase his/her water consumption. Some experts say too much caffeine is not good. Body weight - if the patient is obese, losing weight may help reduce the incidence and severity of hemorrhoids. Simple things you can do yourself to help prevent piles: Try not to strain when you go to the toilet Avoid laxatives Exercis take tab pilex 1tab tds, anovate cream locally inside anus, siltz bath [hot water in a tub, add kmno4 in it, sit 1/2 an hr in tub, it will help.Avoid spicy ,Drink 3- 4 Litre of Water Daily. welcome for further help. or go for surgery

Are sugar free biscuits, cookies etc advisable. Also are sugar free pallets advisable in tea, coffee etc. Please advice.

Are sugar free biscuits, cookies etc advisable. Also are sugar free pallets advisable in tea, coffee etc. Please advice.
lybrate-user, Most bakery items are made of maida, which get converted to glucose almost immediately in the system. So called "sugar free" biscuits are therefore no good at all. Better to avoid. As regards sugar substitutes which some people use in place of sugar, are also not really good. Using those often tends to increase craving for sweets. Plus none of them are absolutely safe. Thanks.

Homoeopathy and Psoriasis
Homoeopathy stimulates body's own healing process

It works at root level and restores deviated immunity back to normalcy.
It works by addressing the genetic tendencies
Homeopathy uses natural medicinal substances in ultra-minute quantity rendering a treatment that is extremely effective yet absolutely free from any side-effects whatsoever.

How much time does it take?
Psoriasis is an obstinate and chronic disease. There is no shortcut to its cure.

The length of treatment varies form case to case, depending of the following factors:
Duration of psoriasis
Areas affected. Affection of scalp and nails takes longer.
Extent of spread (psoriasis only on skin is easier to treat. Joint affection (psoriatic arthritis) is relatively difficult to treat.)
Previous medication (extensive use o oral cortisone may delay the course of treatment)
General health and associated diseases
Most patients observe positive results in about 3 to 6 weeks.

I am 25 year old male. I am facing constipation problem since long time. Daily I have to spend approx. 30 minutes in toilet. Sometimes this constipation problem results to painful mouth ulcers and pimples on face. Please suggest me permanent solution of this constipation problem.

For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy for pimples can also help a lot. I am a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in your skin problems reply back for private consultation.
