Hello, PCOS or pcod s a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. PCOS also may cause unwanted changes in the way you look. If it isn't treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. The most common symptoms are: Acne.Weight gain and trouble losing weight.Extra hair on the face and body.Thinning hair or even hair loss on scalp.Irregular periods. Often women with PCOS have fewer than nine periods a year. Some women have no periods. Others have very heavy bleeding.Fertility problems. Many women who have PCOS have trouble getting pregnant(infertility), depression. Regular exercise, healthy foods, and weight control are the key treatments for PCOS. Treatment (hormonal) can reduce unpleasant symptoms and help prevent long-term health problems. Try to fit in moderate activity and/or vigorous activity often. Brisk Walking, jogging, dance or aerobics are great exercise that most people can do.Eat heart-healthy foods. This includes lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, and whole grains. Hello, virginity once lost cannot be regained. She should use low dose contraceptive pills regularly in a monthly pack to avoid pregnancy. If she is pregnant then at third month it would be dangerous to abort.

Hi I have been married for 3.5 years, more than a year we are planning for baby. But My wife is unable to conceive. We have consulted various doctors and came up different opinions, still in confusion which to conclude. Hi lybrate-user, there are so many causes of infertility. Go to infertility specialist and evaluate accordingly. Do not go to multiple hospitals for treatment this will drain your money. Have patience keep hope and plan accordingly.

Pulling out the penis before discharge does not guarantee that your partner cannot be pregnant, because even a single sperm can lead to pregnancy. Before you actually ejaculate, there is small amount of fluid which comes out of penis and it contains sperms too. It's better to have an emergency pill right now if 72 hours have not elapsed since you had sex .if time elapsed is more than that then it is better to wait and perform a pregnancy test if your partner skips her periods.

Hello, as she has taken an ipill then the withdrawal bleeding would be after 7-10 days but she may rule out pregnancy with a serum beta hcg test after 5 days.

Hello are the 14th day of usually the time of your ovulation when the ovum from you ovary is released at that time you have at least 12 hrs your lower abdomen you may have backache also so the only thing is that are you required to take some medicines you can take analgesics and that relieve your pain of legs also and messaging and some Physiotherapy will also help you otherwise it is absolutely normal condition is nothing to worry.

I am 38 year old female. In last six month I got infatuation in my vaginal area. Hello, on that time to satisfy your craving you should eat sweet fruits like mango, banana, chiku, watermelon. Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos) occurs when very small cysts (small, fluid-filled sacs) develop in the ovaries. The usual symptoms of pcos are light periods or no periods at all. This is because, in women with pcos, ovulation (the release of an egg) may not take place as often as normal. You should opt homoeopathic treatment, it has cure for pcos. The pills are effective only if started at the beginning of the cycle. 100% safety cannot be assumed if its started in between, specially beyond the 5th day.

Hello, You should have green leafy vegetables, fruits and protein rich food. Consume vitamin C-rich food by eating plenty of fruits like orange, lemon, sweet lime, grape fruit, and grapes. Eat wholegrain foods instead of processed, refined foods such as wheat flour (maida). Also, whole fruit instead of fruit juice will maintain insulin and blood sugar levels. Avoid cakes, pastries, junk food, colas, jams and pickles. Eat foods that are high in fiber as they will also cause a slower, more controlled rise in blood sugar and insulin levels. Incorporate legumes and vegetables in your diet as they’re high in fiber and nutrients and will manage your sugar levels. Combine protein and carbohydrates as protein helps to regulate the blood sugar spike caused by the carbs. Eat small, healthy meals more frequently to manage cravings and hunger pangs and NEVER miss breakfast! Corn, soy, cottonseed, and grapeseed oils should be avoided. Avoid soy products. Also avoid chemical preservatives, additives, artificial sweeteners and colorings. At last, you should consult a nutritionist for better guidance.

It about 400-600 gms wt increase by protein powder, arginine sachets and calcium so take high protein diet and milk mother low wait baby may be low wait.

To maintain healthy eating habits build strength gain muscle mass lose fat and to enhance endurance 

A. Food fuels the body and without proper nutrition there would be setbacks. Eat organic food as much as possible to maintain balanced diet which consists of fruits vegetables complex carbohydrates complete proteins and fats including fish oils and flax seeds

B. Cook healthy bake grill steam or sauté rather than breading and deep frying 

C. Sleep deprivation can lead to low energy levels compromised mental strength and poor recovery from workouts. And have seven to eight hours of sleep.

D. Burn calories by taking simple steps such as standing up more at work, taking stairs instead of elevator and parking car away from the office, walk briskly whenever possible.

E. Muscle tissue grows when you give body time to relax and recover following workouts. Hence rest is very important.

Ms. Lybrate-user as you asked about your problems related to your irregular periods I would like to suggest you that because of harmonic and metabolic imbalances or uterine information are relatively linked with your irregular periods. You may follow some regular routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as exercise and yoga and morning walk every day. You may use khichari and dariya with green vegetables and moong daal soups fried with cumin seeds and ghee and garlic. Use nutritious and proteineous food. Warm milk boiled with ginger and haldi including ghee and nuts every day at breakfast and before going to bed. Avoid oily or junk food. Sour products e. G. Pickles etc, sweet. Follow regular some ayurveda medicines as bellow. 1- arogyavardhini vati. 1 tab chandra prabha vati. 1 tab rajah prawartini vati. 1 tab laxamana loh. 2tabs twice daily with warm water after meals. 2- laxamanarist. 15 ml dashmularist. 15 ml with water after meals.

Losing weight suddenly will only cause increase in weight later. You have to make effort to lose wt gradually over a period of time. This reduction will be more permanent. *Take protein rich food --- seeds, pulses, nuts, Also fruits, vegetables, greens and reduce cereals. *Green tea is also good. *Take lemon juice and honey in warm water in the early morning, empty stomach. *Avoid sweets, fried foods, processed food and junk food. A * Maintain food timings * Don’t miss breakfast. *Avoid heavy dinners and late night meals. *Avoid stimulants, aerated drinks sweetish juices, etc. And maintain good food habits. * Drink lots of water and keep hydrated. Avoid sugary soft drinks * Have adequate, timely, good night sleep *Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful.
