Hello, I am so tired to remove yellow color shadow in my teeth but it act like hero I mean it not removed in properly...
The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

Smile Designing - 6 Techniques to Give You That Perfect Smile

Smile designing or smile makeover is the cosmetic process of improving the appearance of one’s smile. Since smile is the most commonly used way to communicate non-verbally, it is of utmost importance to have a winning smile that exudes confidence; this cosmetic procedure helps give you just that. Many people don’t have good smile, they might be too conscious about their teeth or worry about the fine lines on their faces. Smile designing helps one to alter their as per what they desire.

Techniques used by a cosmetic dentist to enhance or correct their patient’s smile:

1. Whitening: This procedure is used for people who have yellow or discolored teeth. The cosmetic dentist makes a chemical mixture containing peroxide and then the concoction is applied on the teeth for the discoloration to fade away. 2 to 3 sittings can give you satisfactory results.

2. Bonding: This procedure is performed on people who want to fix teeth that are broken or chipped. The dentist usually applies an acrylic material on the tooth that can be shaped and contoured to fit perfectly on the chipped tooth.

3. Enamel shaping: The dentist removes very little amount of enamel (tooth’s outer layer) to re-shape the tooth, if excess enamel makes the smile look uneven and odd.

4. Crowns and bridgework: This procedure replaces any missing tooth. Prosthetic tooth or teeth are made to help match your real teeth so that it doesn’t look superficial or out of place.

5. Gum contouring: You might also have uneven gums, which don’t complement your face and teeth. In such a case, gum contouring shapes your gums to help you achieve that perfect smile.

6. Veneers: The frontal portion of the teeth is fixed by applying a thin layer of porcelain like material on it. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

I have observed a light brown line on back side of my teeth. The dentist has recommended me the scaling. Due to hygiene and sterilisation, I don’t want to have that procedure. Is it safe to have scaling at local places? The instruments may carry bad viruses. I am worried.

I am suffering from bad breath (due to bad stomach). What kind of food shall I avoid?

I am suffering from bad breath (due to bad stomach). What kind of food shall I avoid?
Avoid these foods: alcohol coffee and teas that contain caffeine onions garlic citrus fruits and juices tomato products peppermint spicy foods chocolate fried or fatty foods Eat foods that are rich in fiber to fight halitosis. Fiber helps the digestive movement (peristalsis) run smoothly so that reflux and obstruction are less likely to occur. Fibrous foods also keep you feeling full longer and may help you maintain your weight. GERD is linked to being overweight, so consult your doctor about losing weight to relieve acid reflux and heartburn. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to refresh your breath. Water is less likely than other beverages to upset your stomach or weaken your LES. It also helps wash away bacteria that can lead to bad breath. Be sure to choose still water instead of sparkling, as carbonation can increase heartburn symptoms.

...
Big teeth need not always qualify for Orthodontic treatment (braces). The teeth can be reduced in shape and if need be, supplemented with artificial caps (crowns). The cost of a single crown ranges from 4000-15,000 depending on the material and quality whereas traditional braces start somewhere from 35,000. Do not fall prey for anyone who's offering braces for as less as 15-18,000.
