Hi am 25yrs married, with irregular periods, facing problem with facial hair (chin), Skin tanned on neck, gained 8kgs after marriage in 2yrs now 66kgs with height 5'4, Pcod noted, thyroid (maintaining TSH levels with ebexid tablet) from 1yr we are planning for baby but due to infertility am not success in getting pregnant I hav under gone with follicular study for 3months failed, and also come failure. Now changed doc She said I have PCOD So taking glycomet 250 twice a day 1folic acid, 1multi vitamins tablets, 1vitamin E tablet, from 2months but still I dint get my periods Am I pregnant. if you have confirmed diagnosis of asthma your should be preferably on inhaled medicine than only oral medicines because inhaled medicines are effective and carry minimal side effects risk.

Diabetes does not affect the body organs all of sudden, it damages slowly, it is a long drawn process. But if sugar levels are well controlled this process can be almost stopped. So to prevent organ damage, most important action is to control the blood sugar levels.

Hello I am taking Urimax -D every night for Benign Prostate hyperplasia with BOO. Prostate measures 6.0 x 3.6 x 4.5 cm in size, Volume 52.4 cc. But I have to get up every night several times for urine. So my question is. Do I can take Urimax -D (tamsulosin dutasteride) during daytime so that I can have a sound sleep in night. Mr. lybrate-user. You have moderately enlarged prostate with residual urine volume about 54. Cc. Since when you are taking urimax-D it is a good drug. One thing you can try to reduce water intake after 6 pm your night frequency may reduce. please try this and contact me after 15 days, and also please don't go out in cold days avoid excess of alcohol if you are taking. Take bath with warm water and sit in warm water.

You should follow sleep hygiene rules. They are. 1. Excercise regularly for one hour preferably in the morning times. If you do in the evening time, the time gap between your bed time and excercise should be 4 hrs. 2. Avoid laptop/tv/computer/mobile during your bed time. 3. Avoid stimulants like tea, coffee one hour before bed time 4. Do relaxing things like listening music, reading books etc. Before your bed time 5. Follow them regularly.

Hello, I understand your concerns. Usually when you eat in a hurry, you tend to swallow air with food. Which causes burping. Avoid excess tea, coffee and carbonated beverages. Some foods like pulses, beans, cabbage, cauliflower produce excessive gas in intestines. Vomiting is a cause of concern. I recommend you to meet a gastroenterologist for evaluation. Smoking and alcohol intake also worsen stomach problems. Regards.

Hi The following are some of the natural remedies for cold and cough: - Add a pinch of turmeric and 1/4 tsf of black pepper powder to hot milk and drink it twice a day. - Mix 1 tsf of honey to 1 tsf of basil leaf juice; take it twice a day. - Prepare a decoction by boiling one glass of water containing 1 tsf of coriander powder, 1 tsf of pepper powder and 1/2 tsf of ginger powder; reduce it to quarter glass and take it three times a day. - Apply turmeric paste on the forehead. - Do steam inhalation twice a day by adding 1-2 drops of eucalyptus oil to hot water. - Keep 1 grain of crystal salt and 2-3 black pepper in a beetle leaf, roll it and chew it. This relieves cough.

1. You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3. Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5. Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6. Take light dinner. 7. Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner. Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10. Don’t sleep in day time 11. Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor.

Hello, firstly you should take the treatment for fever and after recovery follow the below to gain weight:- 1. Take alfalfa tonic(wsi), 2 – 2 tsp. Thrice a day, half an hour before meals. 2. Calcarea phos 200, 5 drops , once in aweek , morning empty stomach for 2 weeks. 3. Avoid him salty, fatty, spicy, oily meals. Avoid protein meals i. E. Daal. Avoid him alcohol, smoking, non-veg. Give him fiber meals, lassi, low fat meal, low fat milk, whole grain foods, give glucose water. Vitamin b12 rich meals. Green veg. Soups. Fruits juice.

Dr. , My wife has something really wrong problem. I dnt knw whether it is for pleasure, fantasy etc . The problem is - She is not interested in sex (special when at home). Hello lybrate-user, looks like there is some issues in the sexuality. There is a sexual deviance in her because of which she gets pleasure in having sex and intimacy in public than private. If this is happening all the time, yes its a matter of concern. But, if this is very rare and she's doing to just for fun, then you don't have to worry.
