Your wife is pregnant. I advise her to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Avoid garlic and red chilly at home and avoid non veg and eggs.

My wife is suffering from high BP since last 10 years. Her bp pattern remains in range 170/90 for about one month. We have been monitoring regularly at home. She takes a pill LODOS 2.5. Also she has been taking garlic pills. However it never reduces below this level. She is quite reluctant to visit a doctor. Also she has lost 70%of her teeth still she does nt want to visit dental surgeon for treatment. Is this could be a reason for her high blood pressure. Please help.

Hii. The antihypertensive drugs can be the cause for the loss of teeth. Actually what happens is the antihypertensive drugs causes increase in the size of gingiva. Leading to difficulties in maintaining proper oral hygiene. That eventually leads to tooth loss.

There are many conventional allopathic sexual pills in market such as adegra, viagra, penegra etc. Refrain yourself from using such pills as those pills contain a steroid called sildenafil. This steroid has a unique temporary effect on erectile problems. Patients using these pills for first time often report that their penis remain strong even after ejaculation. Hi, I have fatigue all the time. Have digest problem like burping all the time. Felt something disturbing in stomach like undigested all the time. Less hungry. Lost two kgs in whole year. Since last ten years I kept 60 to 61. Now 58. Checked with doctors and gone medication with infection and acid reflux tablets and gels. Not working etc. Felt little difficult in breathing rarely. A year done, still no improvement. I am a footballer and I do not have any problem in playing and running or breathing while playing.

1. Take bland diet, avoid spicy, oily, fried and junk food2 eat and drink slowly. 3. Avoid fatty food, carbonated drink like soda/ soft drink/beer, chewing gum, sucking hard candy etc, 5. Avoid gas forming food like onion, bean, peas, potato, lentil, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, mushroom, whole wheat bread. Fruits like apple/peach/pear 6. Avoid stress, anxiety 7. Stop alcohol/ smoking if you have 8. Go for regular exercise and avoid sedentary life style 9. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning 10. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice, half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. To clear the scar marks - • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water. • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it. *Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the marks. *Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes.

Khasra (measels ) is a serious illness. Are you sure of the diagnosis? what is the age of the baby?Did you not immunise the child? Please see a doctor immediately. Your child needs extra dose of Vit A. You must also check for other co- morbidities.

Early Menopause - How to Treat it?

Menopause is characterized by the absence of menstrual periods for 12 months. It is the time in a woman’s life when the ovaries stop functioning. The periods then stop forever. The normal period of menopause is 51 years of age, however, menopause may happen as ahead of schedule as the 30s or as late as the 60s. There is no solid lab test to determine when a lady will encounter menopause. Early menopause usually starts between the ages of 40 and 45. Untimely menopause begins significantly earlier, before the age of 40. Nevertheless, premature or early menopause is not that common with only about one percent of the women going through early menopause before the age of 40.

The signs and symptoms of early menopause are like the usual menopause. Some basic side effects include:

  1. Irregular periods (amenorrhea)
  2. Hot flashes
  3. Night sweats
  4. Vaginal dryness
  5. Mood shifts
  6. Mental fogginess
  7. Diminished sex drive

Your specialist will suggest a treatment depending on your individual circumstances. Some common ways to deal with premature or early menopause are as follows:

Hormone Replacement Therapy
Supplements containing estrogen and progestin can help and replace some of your reproductive hormones in the body that can no longer make it all alone. They are frequently taken until the normal period of menopause (around 50) to help avoid bone loss. This treatment is not suggested for all ladies since it expands the danger of:

Supplemental Calcium and Vitamin D
Supplementary calcium and vitamin D can help in preventing osteoporosis in case you are not getting enough of these supplements from your normal diet. Women between ages 19 to 50 need to consume 1,000 milligrams of calcium for each day through food or supplements. Ladies over age 51 need to consume 1,200 milligrams for each day. In 1978 the immunization programme in india was renamed as expanded programme of immunization (epi) and then in 1985 became universal programme of immunization when measles vaccine was added in state schedule at 9 months of child age. Mmr is not a part of immunization schedule in state programme but in delhi it was included in 1999. Mmr vaccine is available since more than 3 decades and I am using it since then (tresivac from serum institute). A child in 1989 had the option of getting it depending upon awareness of the parents or the type of medical advice received at the given time. If the immunization file of the subject is available then there should be a mention of it in it. If the sex of the subject is female then rubella vaccine (r in mmr) should have been given by now to prevent any threat to the child from developmental anomalies during pregnancy, in case rubella attack occurs during that period. Anyway, even now if its the case of a female, there is no harm in immunizing a subject with a dose of mmr vaccine. Mmr was introduced in state immunization program of delhi in 1999 as a single dose administered between 15-18 months of age (mmr-i). States of punjab and kerala, and union territory of chandigarh with high routine immunization coverage are possible candidates to incorporate mmr vaccine in their schedule besides goa, puducherry, sikkim and delhi which currently have this vaccine in their state immunization schedules states with immunization coverage less than the above were advised catch up campaigns with measles vaccine.

First of all, you need to avoid taking too much salt in your meals. Also avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, smoking etc. You make take tab. Meclozine for relief. If these things dont get relief, some people also recommend intra tympanic steroid injections. Surgical correction is also an option, however there is always a chance of some degree of hearing loss.
