If you people have not been taking care about diet after surgery in 2007, start now, avoid oily food, take lots of fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits, a glass of warm water with lemon juice + spoon of honey every morning on empty stomach. Some good fats like a katori of assorted nuts + a spoon of desighee/ butter every day to boost up good fats and to reduce bad fats, stay away from transfats like namkeens, burgers, pizzas, tinned food and make it a habit to take less salt, avoid chutneys, pickles, papads etc as salt is used as a preservative in all packed foods bought from market.

you may do Lifestyle modifications next 3 months- daily walk 45 mts,salt less than 5 gms/ day,avoid salt rich foods like papad,sauce,ketchup,namkeens,biscuits and other bakery items,fast food and outside food...take fruits and vegetable salad s 5-6 times a day and kerp checking BP weekly...if at the end of 3 months,BP us same...you may need a pill

Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain foods, Use GARLIC in foods daily ,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . one important that is take 1 glass of water before bed at night. Because it protact from heart fail during sleep at night.

Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take ? of your total as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. For more detailed and personal advice ask me privately.

Hi, obaesity, being common, now a days due to irregular life style, - can be reduced, by opting - certain natural norms in life. Go for a brisk walk in d morning to restore blood circulation to nourish d whole body. *tk, plenty of water to eliminate toxins and to regulate metabolism to burn fats cell. 1. Avoid stress, anxiety, physical and mental strain 2. Reduce your weight if over weight, control bp, control cholesterol, control diabetes 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Control your diet. Take diet low in salt, cholesterol and saturated fat. Avoid red meat, sugar, high fat diary product, spicy, oily, junk, fried and processed food. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits, whole grain food 5. Drink plenty of water (6-8 glasses of water daily). 6. Take adequate rest. 7-8 hours of sleep is required to remain healthy 7. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 8. Stop smoking, alcohol and tobacco intake 9. Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. 1) If you are taking meal 2 times a day, you can have the same 4 times in divided doses. 2) Try to avoid gluten containing food like bread, pizza, and burger. 3) Always eat fresh food. 4) No oily & junk food. 5) You can have sprouts, salads, fruits or fruit juice in breakfast rather than bread, toast or artificial protein shake. 6) Don’t eat immediately after exercise or yoga. 7) Stretching exercises 10 minutes. 8) Brisk walk 5 km daily or 25 minutes 9) Yoga- surya namaskar & different yogasana for 25 minutes.

This is generally a pleural pain. Stop smoking. Do regular aerobic exercises steam inhalations 4 to 5 times a day of few days will suffice. If still you have pain do follow up. Regards.

There's a higher rate of cardiac problems faced by people suffering from respiratory ailments as low levels of oxygen in blood does trigger a heart attack. Get investigation done for blockages in heart by angiography or cardiac ct scan and get him treated for blockages as there can be blockages in the brain too, causes of heart attack and stroke are same, reason for blackouts and fainting attacks. Get her checked and follow advice of your doctor.

Dear Lybrateuser, - At your age chest pain could be due to acidity, anxiety or sedentary habit - avoid spicy, fried & junk food, have more of fruits & vegetables, chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, avoid more than 1-2 cups of tea, coffee in a day, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bed time - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - avoid alcohol, tobacco, aerated drinks if you take - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, also do yoga & deep breathing exercise for 10-15 min in the morning, it will relax your mind & keep your body fit - take syrup Gelusil, 2 teaspoonful half an hour after every meal three times a day.

I am a 79 year old man, with reasonable health. I practice yoga asanas on alternate days and walk in the morning on other days. From one year I feel I am loosing balance and I stoop forward unconciously while walking. My knees do not seem to be strong enough and wobble a little early in the morning. Hello, you should do gargles with saline water. You should take steam. You can take 1 tablespoon of honey 1-3 times daily as needed to control coughing. Take immediately before bed if cough is disrupting your sleep. Take care.
