Hello dear, it seems you are facing problem of bleeding gums, it is not necessary that you have bleeding gums due to rashly done brushing but your gums may be swollen and your teeth may need scaling. Sometimes while doing brushing quickly or harshly the bristles of brush may cause injury to gingiva which may cause bleeding. As you told that you have many cavities certainly some of your tooth may be broken and may cause bleeding.

- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser.

Sticky and chewy food should be avoided when you have brackets on as it might get stuck into the braces.

I have got ulcer in my month and throat since last 10 days. Applied all uler gels and also had tablets from medical shop. What shall I do to get it cured asap.

MDS Prosthodontics, BDS
Dentist, Delhi
there are different types of ulcer and thus causes are also different. so one needs to see the root cause of ulcers and your systemic health. though if you are looking only for symptomatic relief then you can use tantum oral rinse
