Kojic acid is used to remove the dead cells of the skin and hence the exposed skin is more sensitive and can lead to rashes and also the skin will turn dry after using the soap leading to itching and hence it is not advisable for long term use

My wife has been sufferring from migraine pain since last ten years. The pain occurs sometimes once in a weak and sometime more and less then that. Is there any treatment available so that at least the frequency of occurrance of the pain can be reduced.

You have asked a very good question. Bcoz a lot of people specially female are suffering from migraine and people generally do not know what to do. I am sure your wife might be taking some pain killers following the attack but taking these medicines will not reduce the frequency of the attack. There are certain medications like amytrptalline, propranolol, flunnarizine any many like these which can reduce the frequency. I suggest you to visit a nearby physician so that one can examine your wife properly first then they can prescribe these medications. But thet have to be taken for a longer duration for about 3 months or so daily. I personally feel that your wife's headache frequency will reduce. Even I can also start this treatment but first it needs a thorough examination. Thanks for asking.

Hi lybrate user. A) take 10-10-10 ml of ginger juice, fresh lemon juice, honey before and after meals. B) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice along with 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. But at first you have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take food two times in a day only 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals 3) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast and fermented foods 4) avoid late night sleeping habits.

I am 7 month pregnant. And also low lying placenta. Today there is a small bleeding through motion. So I had Any serious problem?

Bleeding with motion can be due to internal haemorrhoids (piles) which get aggravated during pregnancy. It is not a serious problem as long as you maintain healthy bowels. Avoid constipation. Take plenty of liquids and fruits. Avoid non-veg. Thanks.

Is your hair loss accompanied with greying of hair and have they become very thin? your hair needs a very high protein well-rounded diet. Hair and nails are the last organs to get nutrition in the body, hence only if all the organs get sufficient nutrition and proteins, only then the remaining nutrition would be used for hairs. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. You can take any multivitamin tablet bu you should focus on your dietary pattern, For gaining weight, you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. Please take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts. In breakfast have 1-2 Veg stuffed Besan Cheela/ 1-2 Ragi Cheela. In lunch have Bajra/ barley/ ragi/ missi (50% Besan 50 % Barley) roti + 1bowl dal /palak paneer/ egg white bhurji + 1bowl salad. Evening have fruits shake/lassi/badam shake Dinner: 1-2 paneer stuffed Barley chapati /1-2 Ragi chapti + 1bowl dal+ 1bowl salad. Hello. Although it's not possible to gain weight after 21yrs. in males, but still you can try homoeopathic medication as it wouldn't harm you. Start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - Bakson's Gro-up drops/ 10 drops and Five Phos. - both thrice daily and Thuja 1M/ one dose once a week - take them for 1 month only. Management: Take milk and milk products which contains more calcium. More of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to take green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Do skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. Kindly elaborate on the problem. Do you have it more in mornings or evening? any associated fever /eight loss? any history of trauma/fall? avoid bending forwards and lifting heavy wweight, take hot water fomentation 3-4 times a day and maintain an upright posture while sitting/standing. If this oesnt help we might need to do an xray and mri of your back if required. For details, kindly consult. Hope it helps.
