The reason is that its a kind of passive exercise and we never nurture our joints with oil prior or after Tread mill...Do apply warm Sesame oil to whole body (possibly joints atleast) called Abhyang in Ayurved followed by warm water bath..This Abhyang not only is good for joints but also for skin and prevents early ageing...As u know that Skin is d largest organ of d body...sadly though v we minimally use skin as a drug delivery route...

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

.this back pain is due to no back exercise.... due to this muscle get stiff .... when suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start..... in ayurved there is mentioned one procedure KATI BASTI ....DO THIS FOR FIVE DAYS WITH MEDICATED OIL if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation .... so consult ayurvedic doctor near you ... you will definitely get good result ..

You need to go for MRI L-S spine for it... This will give you definitely results...and further steps for treatment...without it, it will be difficult to answer any treatment for it... My calf muscles between knee and toe have become very stiff and I am not able to walk. Please help. If I should consult a doctor whether I should go to an orthopaedition or a neurologist.

Massage the calf muscles with herbal or eculyptus oil. Then try this simple but effective acupressure exercise. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands.

Hello lybrate user chondromalacia patella is a condition in which blistering, cystic change of patellar cartilage and usually affects the medial facet of patella. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Neck advice hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

I have lower back pain from last 1 year. It increases when I stand or walk more than 30 minutes. It feels like hell when I stretch or fold my back in a sitting position. Avoid both things in pain condition and do firstly knee treatment. Hot fermentation and apply pain relief ointment x-ray must according her age and tk calcium supplements. Out a roll of towel under knee and press for 10 second then release repeat 10 times if it work then ok otherwise physiotherapy treatment must. After relief do quadriceps exercise and cycling in gradually process avoid treadmill.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

You should take vitamin D3 supplements as vitamin D deficiency can be one of the cause of joints pain in this age.You should get RA factor,uric acid and ESR done to rule out Gout and Rheumatoid arthritis. Crackling sound is normal and should not concern you

Hi. One can have normal blood levels of uric acid during an acute gout attack so that is not an accurate test to diagnose a joint attack of gout. When the finger is painful, it is best to be seen by a hand specialist or a rheumatologist who can accurately diagnose and start the correct treatment. The only way to accurately diagnose a joint gout is to get some fluid from the joint and send it for testing under a microscopy. It is also important to make sure that we rule out lot of other conditions which can mimick like a gout attack. Please see an appropriate specialist in the regards.
