If your concern is only stains then scaling and polishing will help. But if you want your teeth to whiter thn you may need whitening as well.

Tooth mobility could be due to periodontitis. Periodontitis can be easily treated by simple gum surgery. Please visit a dental professional asap.

When I brushed in morning I felt so much pain my gums. And when I am eating anything I am having pain in my teeth also. And fever goes when I take rest or sleep. And come again after some time. And today is third day but pain in is less now. What should I do?

Hi, you have got a viral infection with fever ulcers and throat pain. Do not panic you can take paracetomol for fever and do tepid sponging if high temperature. Do warm salt water gargling three times a day. Take b-complex vitamin tablets for ulcers. Avoid oily spicy foods. Viral fever will come down by itself. If does not comedown than you will need a course of antibiotics. Take care.

Tap that tooth vertically with other end of pencil. It it hurts you may need a root canal tt. A small dental xray can confirm that. Any mouthwash is not good for continuous prolonged use.

I can't open my full mouth. What should I do then it will open fully. Please help me about that.
Restricted mouth opening has many reasons. First of all you should stop habits like chewing tobacco, smoking, chewing guthka, pan masala, betel nuts. Visit your dentist for peoper diagnosis. He will b able to determine the severity of your disease and plan out treatment accordingly. If less severe he will give you medicines, if more severe he may ask you to go for injections.

We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning and artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

If you have milk teeth still retained please get them extracted. But permanent teeth are usually mistaken as milk teeth, so get that confirmed by visiting your near by dentist.

How to Stop Bleeding Gums

PGDRH, BDS
Dentist, Jaipur
How to Stop Bleeding Gums
The best way to stop bleeding gums is to see your dentist. Your dentist can give you tips on how to stop bleeding gums in between dental visits. That advice might include some of the following tips:

- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth.
- floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque.
- control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress.
- rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth.
- stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums.
- eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque.
- try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick" to clear debris from around the gum line.
- have your dentures aligned as needed.

If you have bleeding gums, visit a dentist. A dentist is the expert you can count on to explain the causes of bleeding gums and to advise a treatment plan.

There has been recent significant evidence that cranberry juice actually helps in the fight against tooth decay. A compound in the fruit blocks bacteria from sticking to the teeth, which inhibits the growth and build up of plaque.

An Apple a Day Keeps the Dentist Away

An Apple a Day Keeps the Dentist Away

Fruits, such as apples, might be sweet, but they're also high in fibre and water. The action of eating an apple produces saliva in your mouth which rinses away bacteria and food particles. The fibrous texture of the fruit also stimulates the gums and massages it. Eating an apple isn't the same as brushing your teeth with a toothpaste that contains flouride, but it can protect you until you have a chance to brush. Pack either a whole aplle or apple slices in your lunch to give your mouth a good scrubbing at the end of the meal.
