Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Kindler's Syndrome - Symptoms + Treatment

Kindler’s Syndrome is a rare skin blistering disease named after Theresa Kindler. It is a kind of skin complication which forms skin blisters and lesions on the mucous membranes. This can happen in any part of your body but mainly concentrates on the area where you have experienced any frictions, bruises or minor trauma, especially on the feet and the hands. In some rare occurrences of Kindler’s Syndrome, it can develop on the internal organs like the food pipe, stomach or the respiratory tract.

This disease generally occurs if you suffer from a disorder called autosomal recessive. It means that you may have inherited an anomalous gene from each parent. It usually happens during childhood and reduces as you age.

Symptoms:
Some of the symptoms of Kindler syndrome are:

  1. Blisters occurring on the body in your infancy and periods of early childhood.
  2. Slowly you will observe altered pigmentation and cutaneous atrophy (A severe dermal condition).
  3. Blistering due to certain skin trauma appearing on the hands and feet.
  4. Some observe abnormalities like dental or ophthalmic
  5. The growth of actinic Keratoses

Treatment:
Kindler’s Syndrome requires a specialized dermatologist for the treatment. In some countries, diagnosis involves skin biopsy. It involves undergoing Immunofluorescence Antigen Mapping or transmission of Electron Microscopy. Blood testing of genes is slowly being developed as a diagnostic test.

Other treatments involve:

  1. A healthy and nutritious diet to heal the disease from within.
  2. Maintaining a good dental hygiene.
  3. Use sunscreen with a high protein formula.
  4. Avoid exposure to the sun as much as possible.

I have a pimple scars pors on my both cheeks by the last 2 year. What should I have to do to get rid of it.

B.Sc. - Dietitics / Nutrition, Nutrition Certification,Registered Dietitian

Pimples or acne is caused when Hair follicles in your skin gets clogged due to oil, dirt, bacteria or dead skin. Acne generally occurs in people with oily skin but other factors like dead skin, dirt, pollution or hormonal imbalance can also cause acne in people with normal skin. Acne can be reduced or controlled by including some habits in your daily life style. 1. Keep your skin clean – Wash your face daily with an oil control face wash. You can also use a good AHA glow face wash that not only controls oil but also removes dead skin and bacteria. You can also use a good tea tree face wash. By shedding the old dead skin, your skin feels rejuvenated and clean. Apply a good toner, like tea tree toner after washing your face. After toning, apply an oil free and non- comedogenic cream on face. Last but not the least, apply a good sunscreen with minimum 30 spf daily. 2. Face packs – Occasionally apply good oil controlling face packs. Multani mitti + Lemon + yogurt is a good face packs for oily skin beauties. You can apply organic apple cider for 5 minutes after washing your face to kill the bacteria that clogs your pores. Green Tea can also be used as a toner once a day. 3. Diet – Most important thing is diet. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. Reduce junk food intake, colas, alcohol and soda and consume whole grains. Keeping your digestive system healthy keeps your body and blood toxins free. Drink green tea, lemon juice, orange juice and food items containing Vitamin C as it is responsible for maintaining good skin health. Drink at least 10 glasses of water every day. 4. Exercise – Exercises, yoga, suryanamaskar improves the blood circulation and balances hormones. They keep skin healthy and boost body’s immunity to deal with several issues and not just acne. Include it in your daily regime.

I have suffered from itching I think it is type of jock itch what kind of medicines I can take I suffered from 1 month.

BHMS, DEMS
Homeopath, Pune
Tinea cruris, most commonly known as jock itch, is a fungal infection of the skin. It belongs to a group of fungal skin infections called tinea. Jock itch is most common in men and adolescent boys. The infection causes a rash that often itches or burns. The affected areas can also be red, flaky, or scaly. It’s also more frequently seen in the homeless, as they do not wash with soap and water in the groin and armpit areas as regularly. Causes of jock itch include the following: Moisture, warmth, and skin friction in the groin folds Tight, occlusive clothing and undergarments that trap in sweat Infections caused by fungus and yeasts: Candida (yeast), Trichophyton, and Epidermophyton (fungal molds) Infections by bacteria. Wash the groin skin two to three times a day. Keep the groin area dry. Avoid excess groin skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash groin and buttocks with soap and water after exercise and sweating. Wash workout clothes, underwear, and swimwear after each use. Minimize groin moisture by using white cotton underwear. Change underwear frequently and especially after sweating. Home remedy =Make sure that you have a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it in with a cup of warm water. Place the solution that you have created on the affected area and wash it thoroughly. Do not wipe the area and let it dry on its own. Consult me for homeopathic treatment.

Does this cleanser acts as a toner which close my pores or smthin that makes my skin pores open. BHMS

Hi, yes. Rose water is an ideal preparation for open pores, it acts as a toner (not cleanser) and astringent but is very mild and healthy for skin with a soothing effect and refreshing fragrance. You can use it 3-4 times a day.

Selecting Right Treatment for Facelift

MBBS, MS Surgery
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Delhi
Selecting Right Treatment for Facelift
Facelift is becoming important in middle age to enhance aesthetic looks in middle age
We have many options in facelift and it is often confusing which to opt for.

Here are rough guidelines that can help us to select right treatment protocol

In young patients under 30 years we can use chemical peels, laser resurfacing and thread lift to cause facelift
In middle age persons with mild sagging we can add option of hifu or ultherapy
In there is significant volume loss we can add fillers or fat grafting
In severe sagging it is better to go for surgical facelift as smas lift.
Sometimes combination of surgical facelift for sagging, fat grafting for volume deficiency and deep peel for rejuvenating skin are added to give optimal results.
Some tips for delaying aging of skin
1. Use regular sun screen, broad spectrum, spf above 35 and water resistant
2. Regular use of retinoic acid as retino a at night can stimulate collagen production
3. High protein diet and supplements as amino collagen are helpful in remodelling collagen
4. Regular chemical peels as glycolic and tca can help in skin rejuvenation
5. Use good quality moisturisers to delay volume loss and dehydration. If needed get fillers regularly.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Eucalyptus oil is also an essential oil that can help to stimulate the growth of facial hair. But because it can cause irritation of the skin, it must be mixed with any carrier oil; olive oil or sesame oil is a good option. •Into half a cup of the carrier oil, add between 15 to 30 drops of eucalyptus oil •Mix and massage this oil onto the facial skin. •Allow it to remain for about 30 minutes and then rinse with cold water and a gentle soap if you find the oily feeling irritating. Pay attention to these natural factors also when you are working on growth of your Mostache/Beard naturally. 1. Eat health so as to give your body enough vitamins and minerals esp. Spinach, Yogurt, Tomatoes, Carrot, Beans. 2.. It is also important to keep your face clean by using a mild moisturizing face wash; however, avoid frequent washing with strong soaps that tend to dehydrate the skin 3. If you smoke, understand that nicotine does not exactly promote facial hair growth – so, here’s another reason to quit the habit 4. Stress is likely to prevent growth of facial hair; so keep stress at bay by a regular practice of yoga or meditation. HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE0---------------------- LYCOPODIUM 30 Dr. Reckeweg) Drink 5 drops in 1 spoon fresh water at night every week --------------------------------ACID PHOSPHORICUM Q (Dr. Reckeweg) Drink 20 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times daily.
