I had a viral infection about 6 weeks ago. Ever since I have been experiencing some strange symptoms. Listed below Strange zap feelings in the chest Tingling in the top of the head Fatigue Palpitations Burping Pain in arms Pins and needles in hands Internal shaking These symptoms have only been occurring since having the viral infection. I am now over the viral infection but the above symptoms are a daily occurrence. I have been to multiple drs who have all performed blood tests and ECG. Nothing had been detected physically Please suggest something.

General Physician, Lucknow
Many a times after viral chest infections the complains you are mentionin may persist for 6-8 weeks, this we call post viral syndrome. Take care of yourself, do not get exposed to a person who is harbouring a viral infection, take healthy balanced diet including fresh fruits, do mild exercises, if the problem still persists do consult a physican in person.

If not eating salads properly then eat them. I think you had values of d3 and b12 lower normal range. Take these supplements too.

MBBS, MD - Anaesthesiology, FIPM, Fellowship in palliative medicine, certificate in interventional pain management, Multidisciplinary pain management course

Migraine has no permanent solution. You have not mentioned the medication that you have taken till now. Preventive medications in appropriate doses are most helpful Follow these health tips to get some relief. 1. Maintain regular sleep wake cycle, even on holiday's. 2. Don't skip meals. Take regular healthy diet with adequate fluids 3. Do not consume excess caffeine / carbohydrates / alcohol or smoke. 4. Exercise daily ( aerobics and cardiovascular) 5. Identify your headache trigger and try to avoid it. 6. Do meditation and pranayam. 7. Acupuncture treatment has shown some benefits in migraine. For further queries consult again.

My son went through surgery for adenoids in 2009 and was 4 years at that time. Now again, he has enlarged adenoids, his growth is very slow. Does he have to go through surgery again or is there any alternative options to avoid surgery and avoid recurring again and help him with his growth.

If any remanents are left over after the previous surgery there is always a chance of adenoids to recur. Please consult ent once.
