Hi, take cap. Stomotone 1-1-1 after food for 2-3 weeks and himcocid syrup 2tsf 3 times daily before food to control burning sensation in the stomach and chest. Take madiphala rasayana 2tsf 3 times a day to stop vomitting. Avoid hot and spicy food. Eat small quantities frequently. Drink plenty of water. Never miss your breakfast. Avoid excess intake of coffee and tea.

I had serious back pain. Please let me know the good exercise to overcome this problem.

Hi. Back pain may be due to various reasons. If it is only due to over strain or weakness of muscles. Then spinal extension exercises and core stabilisation exercises will work good.

I am suffering from type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and severe itching since almost 10 years. For diabetes I started with glycomet gp1 once daily, which is now increased to twice daily along with 500mg metformin in the night. I am worried since the dosage of medicine is increasing after every 2 years. Also, for itching I am taking anti-histamines. Also, I am feeling quite weak nowadays. Is there any better medicine or permanant cure?

For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Also weakness could be due to over restriction of foods. Diabetes is like a state of starvation for the body. It is not about restrictions but about a balanced intake of all foods. Though you can follow some guidelines - have small frequent meals. Do not fast for more than 2-3 hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Fruits should be had as a mid meal. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

you can go for tests ns1,cbc,mp. now you can take tab. combiflaim twice a day. after tests you can take antibiotics. Never take asprin medicines in fever and cold now a days. feel cold then cover body with warm cloths, avoid dust area, clean body, change cloths daily, change bed sheet daily, avoid stress.avoid non-veg.,avoid alcohol intake if smokes avoid also that. Cold sponging if get high fever. drink warm water, juice,green veg. Dear lybrate-user, You should take diet as under: A couple of bananas and a few sips of lemonade or glucose powder mixed in water. A protein-heavy shake (protein supplement). Breakfast: • One, big glass of orange juice • A bowl of oatmeal to which dried nuts like almonds, walnuts and raisins are added—using skimmed or low-fat milk and some sugar • 2-3 whole eggs, scrambled or boiled • 2-3 slices of multi-grain bread coated with a bit of butter Pre-Lunch/Mid-day Snack: A bowl of yogurt made from low-fat milk Or A few granola bars that are fortified with raisins and sesame seeds Or Whole fruits like apples or peaches Lunch: • At least one form of animal meat like chicken or meat, i.e. One to two servings. • 4-5 rotis made from whole wheat or multi-grain flour, smeared slightly with ghee. • A big bowl of dal • A cup full of boiled rice • If eating meats is a problem, supplement it with cottage cheese made from tofu or low-fat milk Early Evening Snack: The better choice is a glass of low-fat milk to which an energy-inducing mix has been added. You can choose from a variety of malted mixtures. Try to add more of the malted mix rather than using synthetic sugar. You can use a few high-fiber biscuits or cookies to dip and munch upon.

According to Ayurveda, ashwagandha (scientific name: Withania somnifera), also known as Indian ginseng, helps increase height. Ashwagandha contains various minerals that broaden the bone skeleton as well as its density. This in turn increases your height. You can easily find ashwagandha in an herbal store. 1. Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 2. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 3. Drink it every night before going to bed at least for 45 days to increase your height. Note: For this remedy to work, you must avoid fast food completely.2. Drink Milk Milk is rich in calcium, an important mineral for bone growth. Calcium also acts as a height booster. Besides calcium, milk has vitamin A and protein that are essential for overall development of the body, including height. To increase your height by a few inches, drink at least two to three glasses of milk daily. In addition, eating dairy foods like cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt and cream can have an effect on height.Eat green vegetable, protiens, fruits etc. Do yoga, daily exercise, streching of body, sound sleep, all will help. Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Hye, thanks for the query. You are underweight by 12 kgs as per your height. Low weight could also translate into low stamina and energy levels. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.
