To reduce weight change food habites. Avoid too oily, fast, spacy, junck, foods, over eating. Take simple veg food with green vegitabales, salad, do arobic excersices, yoga, fast walking will help. Take green tea 30minuties before lunch end a cup of tea before dinner (without sugar. You can add lemon juice will benifits you)

This depends upon your metabolic status as well as exercise and yoga and morning walk in the morning every day. An very important thing is that the vata nature people never gets fleshy even he eats as much nutritional foods. I would like to suggest you to be healthy is better than fleshy body. He should follow some regular routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as exercise, yoga and morning walk every day. Use warm milk boiled with ginger and haldi including ghee and nuts every day before going to bed.

I got piles for the first time 2 days ago. There is no bleeding. I don't have constipation. I pass stools soft ones twice a day. Don't have any history of piles even. It hurts when I walk or sit/stand. What should I do doctor?

Diet & Lifestyle Advice 1.Avoid the intake of heavy, dry, cool, and stale foods,refined foods like jams, pastries, packaged, and canned foods. 2.Also avoid tea, coffee, aerated drinks, and alcoholic beverages, pickles, potatoes, and root vegetables except radish and carrot. 3..Increase the intake of whole-wheat flour, whole grains, brown rice, barley, legumes (lentils, beans, peas, chickpeas, soybeans, etc.), buttermilk, rock salt, Indian gooseberries (amla), green leafy vegetables, and foods that are rich in fiber. 4.Eat more fruits including oranges, figs, strawberries, kiwis, bananas, pears, papayas, apples, grapes, and mangoes. 5.Increase daily liquid consumption in the form of water, soup, juice, milk, buttermilk, etc. 6.Engage in light exercise like walking, yoga, and swimming.,,Avoid sleeping during the daytime and waking up late in the night. HOME REMEDIES..:: 1.Apply sesame oil on external dry piles followed by warm fomentation (warm moist compresses or sitting in warm water). The easiest method is to sit in a tub with the buttocks submerged in warm water. 2.Eat 4 figs twice a day, in the morning and evening. Saturate 4 figs in water for the whole night; eat these in the morning. Remember not to drink water prior to eating the figs. Saturate another 4 figs in the morning to be eaten in the evening. Do this every day for 4 weeks. 3. Take 1 tsf triphala churna at night daily with luke warm water. 4. Revert me back.

Alcohol dependence involves intense craving or desire to drink alcohol. People drink for pleasure or rationalize it on external factors like family problems, work tension, etc. They drink continuously, i.e. Almost daily or even weekly once or twice with withdrawal symptoms, tolerance, bodily damage, etc. You need to consult a psychiatrist and go for 3 steps of de addiction. 1st is detoxification, when alcohol is stopped and the withdrawal is made smooth with minimal discomfort, 2 nd is maintenance and further deaddiction when the physical problems and psychological state of the individual is maintained and anti-craving drugs started 3 rd rehabilitation, when relapse prevention is the goal, while maintaining deaddiction. Hi lybrate-user to gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

Backache is the commonest ailment. Do not worry, rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

Night fall is very common problem in younger age. Semen production occur 24 hourly & it has limited capacity for storage. Other cause you have quit masturbation, If you do not do ejaculate then nightfall is only way to come out of stored semen as its production is continuous process. 1-2 week frequency is normal.

Hi, If it's getting an obsession in your case, first do breathing exercises like pranatam, anulom-vilom, kapalbhatti. Do yoga daily which will release your stress, if you have any! Change your thinking and try to focus your mind to some fruitful work! So, that your mind will get diverted to something else. Medication: Instill 2 drops of Mullein oil in each ear, wait for few minutes. (Do visit ENT, if your problem is not solved.)

Near sighted-ness is also known as myopia. There are various techniques for tackling this problem. (1) glasses: you could get the refractive power of the eye checked and get glasses made for the same. (2) contact lenses: these are alternatives to glasses. Provided you are capable of maintaining proper eye hygiene and contact lens cleanliness, there should be no harm with using contact lenses. (3) refractive surgery: lasik, prk, etc are various techniques by which myopia can be permanently rectified. There are certain basic criteria that most patients need to fulfill before they can safely undergo refractive surgery. To enumerate, they are: (1) stability of refraction: the power of the eyes should have become stable for a period of 1.5 years minimum without any change. (2) curvature of the cornea should be tested by a technique which is known as topography. (3) thickness of the cornea should be measured by a test known as pachymetry. The minimum thickness required is 550 microns. (4) dilated retina evaluation: this is one of the most important tests that should be performed by a trained retina specialist. This test helps in detection of any offensive lesion on the central or peripheral retina. In case of any retinal abnormality, these should be treated before undergoing the surgery for number reduction. (5) there should be no pre-existent corneal abnormality. (example: corneal scar, opacity, defect, etc.) another important suggestion is that whenever you go for the assessment (the above mentioned tests), you should discontinue the use of contact lenses at least 4 weeks prior to the assessment. The reason for this being that use of contact lens temporarily alters the contour of the cornea. It takes around 3-4 weeks for the restoration of the original corneal contour after removal of the contact lens. Another important point is that you, as a patient, should be compliant to put post operative medication in your eyes for at least 2 months. There is bound to be some discomfort, watering, foreign body sensation, pain after the surgery in most cases-you should be ready to tolerate that. Hello, take alpha ha, 15 drops with warm water twice at the gap of 2 hours. Take kali phos 6x, 6 tabs and sleep for 8 hours. After getting up you will feel better in headache.

Mr. Lybrate-user, increased uric acid in blood is due to a metabolic aberration, where an enzyme is lacking which breaks down purines. Therefore, only certain medications which help in excreting uric acid are helpful. Plus taking restricted diet, avoiding high purine containing foods like red meat, organ meat, certain fishes like sardines, trout, herring, scallops, salmon, haddock and mushrooms and mussels. You can take eggs, milk proteins and other vegetable proteins. Also avoid alcohol, sweetened aerated drinks and fructose corn syrup containing products. This is not a curable condition. As regards cholesterol diet restriction and exercise and yogasanas will definitely help in controlling it effectively. Thanks.

I am 57 year old. Suffering from type ii diabetes for 10 year. Now sugar level is normal for 2 months. But my BP was 179/105. On investigation s. creatinine is 2.4 and blood urea 71. After medication by MD physician BP came down and liver profile and s. electrolyte is normal. But blood urea and s. Creatinine is same. What I should do. What precaution in diet to be taken. BP is 128/87 today.

to reduce creatinine and urea, you will have to consume more of vegetarian diet. Avoid high protein foods like mutton and chicken and fishes. Also avoid strenuous physical activity. Consume green tea, reduce intake of high fat cheese and other milk products. These measures may be helpful in reducing creatinine and to extent urea. For hypertension it is better to use ace inhibitors or arbs, which have a beneficial effect on kidneys.
