Dear Lybrateuser, - At your age your pain could be due to acidity, anxiety or sedentary habit - avoid fried, spicy & junk food - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have syrup gelusil, 2 teaspoonful three times a day half an hour after meals - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - do regular exercise including yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min in the morning to keep your body & mind fit.

You may become overly aware of your heartbeat. This sensation is sometimes also felt in the neck, throat, or chest. While you’re experiencing palpitations, your heart rhythm may or may not be abnormal. Most heart palpitations are harmless and resolve on their own without treatment. Rarely, heart palpitations can indicate a serious condition. Seek medical attention right away if you have heart palpitations and a diagnosed heart problem or if you have palpitations that occur with other symptoms such as: dizziness lightheadedness fainting a loss of consciousness confusion difficulty breathing excessive sweating pain, pressure, or tightening in your chest pain in your arms, neck, chest, jaw, or upper back a resting pulse rate of more than 100 beats per minute.

I am a 15 year old boy and whenever I take rest after playing I usually get lots of pain in my chest and lower abdomen. And I also get coughing which continues till about 45 minutes. I have consulted round about 5-6 doctors for treatment but till now I haven't got any relief. Help!

Do warm saline gargle regularly. Twice or thrice daily have homemade freshly prepared lemon juices which is rich in vitamic therby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection including viral infecdtion. Take plenty of water by mouth go for regular morning walk followed by free hand exercise. It will be alright.

High blood pressure may be hereditory or aquired. Aquired are mostly curable. It may be arterial abnormality which operable & curable, renal cause treatable & operable and also curable. Hereditary type is treatable.

My age is 32 years and past few days my blood pressure is 92/130 .i m 108 kg. Aswell acidity problem should I go for medicine. Every blood report is normal .

Your bp is high 1. Do regular aerobic exercise like brisk walk for 30 minutes every day 2. Reduce your weight 3. Reduce salt intake 4. Drink plenty of water 5. Take bland diet, avoid spicy, oily, junk saturated fat and cholesterol rich diet. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits, 6. Stop smoking and consumption of alcohol, tobacco, 7. Avoid stress, anxiety, physical and mental exertion 8. Do yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercise 9. Monitor your bp regularly and consult physician for treatment 10. Hav eadequate sleep for 7-8 hours daily.

Anxiety stress is most common cause unless you have any cardiac disease. You first take anxiolytic medicine if not releived then detaile examination will be needed.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and avoid spicy food in your diet and also avoid peanuts and potatoes in your diet and get your vital parameters of the body checked from a nearby doctor and revert with findings.

Dear lybrate user, in order to normalize low blood pressure take a hand full of raisins (kishmish) and put them in a bowl of water in the night, every next morning chew these resins on by one and drink the remaining water at the end. Continue it at least for forty days, go to bed early and get up early, go for a morning walk, take your dinner at least two hours before going to bed. Avoid lascivious thoughts literature and media. Yes it is beneficial for heart diseases bcoz it contains dha and epa. You can take it any time but for avoid fishy burps and bleches you should take it just before meals.

Just try to have a oil and fat free diet for 2 months.A few changes could help protect you from this hidden condition: • Try to keep your consumption of saturated fats to a minimum. • Aim to replace saturated fats, with moderate amounts of ‘good’ fats also known as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. • Grill, steam, boil and bake foods instead of frying and roasting. • Eat plenty of fibre-rich foods. • Enjoy healthy snacks such as fruit, nuts and seeds, olives etc. • Eat at least two portions of fish per week, one of which should be oily (Choose from salmon, mackerel, sardines, pilchards or herring). • Include foods enriched with plant stanols/sterols, which are clinically proven to lower ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle. • Stay physically active. at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise on five or more days of the week. • Avoid smoking. • Try and manage your stress levels.  Foods to avoid  Limit saturated fats and oils, such as butter, palm oil, and coconut oil. Instead, use soft vegetable oils, such as olive or canola oil.  Avoid trans fats or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils. These oils go through a process that makes them solid. They're found in some hard margarines, snack crackers, cookies,and chips.  Limit fatty meats such as corned beef, , ribs, steak, ground meat, hot dogs, sausage, bacon, and processed meats . Also limit organ meats like liver and kidney. Replace with skinless chicken or turkey, lean beef, pork, lamb, and fish. Try some meatless main dishes, like beans, peas, pasta, or rice.  Limit meat, poultry, and fish to no more than two servings, or 140 g, a day. Remember that a serving is about the size of a deck of playing cards.  Limit egg yolks.  Limit milk products that contain more than 1% milk fat. This includes cream, most cheeses, and nondairy coffee creamers or whipped topping (which often contain coconut or palm oils). Instead try fat-free or low-fat milk (0% to 1% fat) and low-fat cheeses.  Limit snack crackers, muffins, quick breads, croissants, and cakes made with saturated or hydrogenated fat, whole eggs, or whole milk. Try low-fat baked goods, and use any spreads or toppings lightly.  Instead of using butter or margarine on bread, try dipping it in olive oil.  Avoid fast foods like hamburgers, fries, fried chicken, and tacos. They are high in both total fat and saturated fat. When you eat out, choose broiled sandwiches or chicken without skin, salads with low-fat dressing, and foods that aren't fried. Ask the server to leave off the cheese and high-fat dressings like mayonnaise.

Lalit your weight is a little in excess in proportion to your height you require early morning exercises. Secondly surya namaskar exercise will surely help in all above aspects. As far as low blood pressure is concerned it requires no medicine. You should increase your daily fluid intake. So that you will feel fresl and energetic thanks.

To control or maintan BP normal there are some instructions are given below: •Do not take salt in high amount or try to avoid it because high sodium level increase BP. • Eat less amount of pickle and fast food, fast food contain high sodium. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of coffee and tea both increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily. • Do exercise daily, running and long walk. • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Avoid taking too much fat foods such as butter, cheese, ghee. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. Eat an apple daily.

Dear, you should definitely quit. You should visit a pulmonologist / physician for detailed investigation. Let them decide what are those check ups you need. You will need de-addiction therapy and nicotine replacement therapy for some time to tackle nicotine craving. Take care.
