you are young girl, might be college going. Are you moderately built or thin built? Your BMI is alright. Main cause of back pain in your age group is muscle weakness, calcium and vitamin D deficiency or inappropriate posture. Detailed history will give proper diagnosis and treatment accordingly can be advised. You will do fine with some medicines and exercises.

I met with an accident last year when I was riding on a bike. I got internal injury in waist and was cured in 2 month treatments. But pain has started again last month in back waist. Please suggest what should I do?

I have drunk a 150 ml peg daily. I have lite pain in my right lower back. I passed my urine with high bad smell after drink so much water. With extimae I drunk 3 ltr water in my working hours.

Regular massage will help but not a cure' it will give u temporary relief' my advice to u is concentrate on exercises that is only method to get relief from this pain and consult a rheumatologist.

Severe neck pain can be experienced by whiplash injuries caused by sudden jerking of the head forwards and then backwards which lead to the stretching of the soft tissues of the neck beyond their limits.

Paining both knee one side back of shoulder and back of waist finding difficulty to climb stairs. This happen first time I don't know what the reason shoulder waist and both knee causing pain.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

I have back pain for last 5-6 years and it got severe for the last 6 months or so. I consulted with a neurologist and he said there is some problem in my lower spine and advised to swim daily and some exercise everyone of which includes bending my back to the back side. I need a second opinion and that's why I am here. Please help me out here ?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Simple ways to improve posture and reduce risk of chronic back aches

1. Keep tummy muscles tight but don't hold your breath.
2. Keep the shoulders back and down. Avoid rounding shoulders forward and slouching especially when sitting for prolong periods using laptops or computers.
3. Try to stretch every 30 minutes by backward bending back for 30 seconds in standing or sitting.
4. Seek help from a friend or family member who can reinforce your habit and remind when you go to the poor posture mode.
5. Learn specific exercise to strengthen back and abdominal muscles and above all stay active and fit!

My mother's age is 46, She is feeling like her right leg blocked from inside. It takes long to make her leg feel comfort after sitting or lying on bed. She used to walk little bit after eating and also do cooking and rest of the work at home. Not all time pain occurs in her leg but she feels some nerve is blocking. What to to?

* walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take bryonia 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days

I have pain from past 6 days in my legs. what should I do more over it happens suddenly and cures itself?

Requires detailed examination & investigations. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid, vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful. Use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1 tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that the patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that patient is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days, inform.

What is voluntary nystagmus? Is this nystagmus result of eye strain? I mean to say how common is voluntary nystagmus? I experience set of uncontrollable eye moments for couple Of Seconds because I have to much eye strain. Also I cannot stare my eyes on something for more than 5-6 seconds. When I cover my one eye my other eye become More strained I after that l cannot. Put my one opened eye focused on something? Is this nystagmus? Or result of strain?

Nystagmust is unvoluntary or voluntary movement of eyes. It sometimes may happen due to excessive accommodation or eye strain. Though your case seem to be of weak extra ocular muscles. Get your eye sight tested along with complete orthoptic check up.

I have a lot of knee pain. How could I get relief from it .I can't lift heavy things or cannot do many work because of the knee pain and arm pain. How I get relief from thyroid easily at home?

Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I feel heavy pain in my right heel when I standing after seating sometime then I feel but when walking then slight feel pain. I visit Doctor then doing X-ray (report something increase bone) but I have no sugar, uric acid and all are normal. Please give me some advice without sergery.

I am a sports person. I love to play badminton. But now when I play badminton or any other sport my right shoulder pains a lot. After giving It a week's rest my shoulder muscle starts paining. There was no pain in the resting week. Also the pain persists and doesn't allow me to do my daily activities. This occurs very frequently. Pls guide me.

This is internal impingement. You have shoulder dyskinesia which is common in badminton players. You need to strengthen your shoulder and core body muscles.
