Hi dear...gas problem is quiet a prevalent problem in our country because of our food habits. Avoid eating very fried oily spicy foods...add fibre rich foods like salads, green veg, fruits, wheat rotis etc. Also dont remain empty stomach for prolonged periods. eat something every 2-3 hrs...and walk every 1-2 hrs...dont keep sitting.

Beetroots are packed with nutrients and can be eaten raw, pickled or cooked. Beetroots can even be juiced. It has been used in a number of sweet and savoury recipes. When it comes to beetroots, the root as well as the leaf can be eaten. Here are a few great reasons why you should eat beetroot.

  • It's good for the heart: Beetroots are rich in nitrates. This helps relax the arteries and reduces blood pressure. Being rich in fiber and antioxidants enables beetroots to prevent plaque formation in arteries. The antioxidants in beetroots also prevent bad cholesterol from being deposited on the artery walls. Thus it protects against heart attacks and strokes.
  • It helps fight diseases: Beetroots are said to boost immunity and fight a number of diseases including cancer, Alzheimer's and liver disorders. Beetroot is rich in betanin that expels cancer triggering agents and prevents the development of tumours on both the skin and liver. It is also said to protect a person from breast cancer. It also helps detoxify the body.
  • It helps build strong bones and teeth: Beetroots are rich in silica. This silica is a crucial component required for healthy bones and teeth. Along with silica, beetroots are also rich in magnesium, vitamin C and folate. Beetroots also help prevent osteoporosis.

Hi, If the food you eat is not properly digested and absorbed then how can you gain weight.Nothing will work if this is not proper. Take *Alfa malt forte (medisynth) 1tablespoon to be taken twice a day during meals for 1mth *Take GRD Powder 1tablespoon in 1 cup of milk ,drink once a day

  • Do give your child snacks that are low in sugar like vegetables, fruit cheese, or cereals. These do not cause tooth decay like sweet snacks do.
  • Do limit snacking between meals. When eating many snacks, the acid in the mouth is high. High acid levels can help make a cavity.
  • Do limit the eating of soft, sticky sweets that get on and in between the teeth, like chewy candy or raisins. Sticky foods stay in the mouth longer and the acid can decay the tooth.
  • Do brush your teeth after eating. It is important to prevent getting cavities. Wait 30 minutes after eating before you brush.
  • Do try to avoid sugary foods like gum, hard candies, and suckers that stay in the mouth for a long time.
  • Do reduce the damage that can be caused by sweets by serving sweets with other foods or drink. Saliva or water in the mouth helps reduce the damage sugar can cause to the teeth.

You can feel tired due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Hello To gain weight the general advice will be to start eating weight gain diet or food in a higher quantity. You will get advice to have milk/milk products/dry fruits/meat/fish etc. Diet divided in six short meals will b advised by one and all. I will try not to bombard you with these general advice as you are going to get them in plenty. What I am concentrating is to make you understand why you are not gaining weight. Ask yourself three questions. 1. Am I satisfied with by bowel moments? Meaning am I satisfied with passing stools? 2. Do I eat food because it's lunch time or am I actually hungry? 3. Am I getting proper sound sleep? If all the three answers are positive meaning proper stools are being passed no constipation, you r eating food because you are hungry and not because it's lunch time and you are having proper sleep then you can blindly follow the advice given by maximum doctors that is to increase your weight gain food. But if the answers are negative that means you are suffering from constipation or not getting proper sleep then we will have to sort that issues first as weight can only be gained if the food is getting properly digested and a person with gud digestion doesn't suffer from constipation. Also a person with gud sleep will gain weight with weight enhancing food as body does its weight gaining if person gets gud rest. Kindly ask yourself above questions and if you feel that you require help in those areas kindly feel free to book an appointment. Remember general advice generally doesn't give gud result.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so that's why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp before lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

you should get your blood sugar level checked up these problems may be due to increased blood sugar level. it should be in the range of fasting blood sugar 70 to 80 mgm/dl and PP in the range of within 140mgm/dl if positive consult a medical specialist. for the time being you can take a tab paracetamol or calpol.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Give her whole cream milk.Nutritional supplements will help to gain weight.Give more dense vegetables like sweet potato with white potato,corn,carrots,beet with other vegetables.Give her dense fruits like banana,grapes,mango,Jack fruits,dry fruits,fruit juice.Add jam,jelly,butter,ghee with her foods.Give more fish,egg,meat,dairy products,soy etc to gain weight.Avoid fast foods as far as possible.More rice,chapati will help.Add extra healthy fat in cooking.No water just before or during meals.Give nuts,seeds.Proper sleep will help.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Weight gain is all about taking more calories than you burn. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps weight gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 main and mid meals a day. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, ghee, cream in your meals. Just eating sugary, sweet foods is not good. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite.  Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.

Add ghee, egg, non vex, green leafy vegetables, milk n milk products, fruits in your diet. Physical work is also necessary.
