-Dolo-650 mg twice or thrice daily can be taken to lower a fever . -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) baths may help bring down a fever -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -Fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food..

apply medicated oil over knee joint, do hot fomentation,do physiotherapy under supervicion,keep cows ghee in diet, take milk,dry fruits,fresh fruits ,proper diet, sound sleep.. Best luck

Dear Chandan, Gaining weight is as difficult as reducing weight. But if we know the right reason we can gain weight. Please share how is your appetite? What you eat mostly in your diet? How is your bowel movement? How is your sleep? Is there any stress in Life? What is oyur work profile? Are you taking any medicine for any problem? Have o=you undergone any thyroid profile? Please share the answers so that we can i diagnose the reason and advise you best herbal treatment. Till then take small pieces of ginger cut into slices and add sprinkle rock salt along with squeezing lemon juice. Lick or suck this ginger piece 15 mins before your meals thrice a day. It could be due to muscle cramp. Take one tablet of crocin 500mg sos, Drink plenty of water with ORs/Electral, take rest. If no relief, consult. Take one tablet of Neurobion Forte daily for few days

My daughter 16 years old, she declared type-1 diabetic when shy was 12 years old. She is taking Insulin 4 times a day. Before Breakfast 10 units of Human actrapid , before lunch 8 units and before dinner 6 units and after dinner at 10 o' clock Lantus 16 units. But sugar is still not controlled. Fasting is more that 250 regularly and after food 310 and above. She is taking very controlled food as per advised by doctor. Please advice us what to do. Can we change the insulin ?

Hi she is taking the best regime of insulin. The only option left is now to go in for a insulin pump. But please meet a doctor or a diabetic educator who can guide you for insulin adjustments. You should know carbohydrate counting and insulin sensitivity factor (isf) to adjust your doses and take corrective doses of insulin. As for fasting try increase the dose of lantus to correct the fasting. I hope lantus is taken at fixed tie everyday. Try to do some exercise like walking lightly after dinner. All the best

Always it is advised to take supplements after your first meal of the day.That is breakfast.This helps in better absorption of oil soluble vitamins like A,D,E and antioxidants. Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert. *******also consult a nutritionist for proper diet chart if you can follow*******

This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos you will need other supportive medicines also. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Stop worrying, take food regular and in sufficient quantity, have good sleep and moderate exercise. 1- ashvagandha churna 50 gm + vidarkanda- pueraria tuberosa churna 50 gm + yashtimadhu-jethimadha powder 25 gm + shatavari churna 50 gm+ dalchini powder 25 gm + candy sugar powder 150 gm mix well in mixer, take 10 gm with warm milk twice in a day 2- drakshasava 15 ml with water after food twice in a day 3- all body massage with narayan tail or coconut oil before bath every day morning may take regularly pure ghee haluva-shira (soji prepared) with adding dry fruits. Record weight before treatment and after every month.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Do exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Take 3-4 almonds, 2 figs, dry dates (overnight soaked). Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, and milk and milk products. Combination of cereals and pulses take healthy and heavy breakfast.
