Hello Ideally you should be consuming 350 gms of carbs, 100 gm of proteins and around 100 gms of fats. But you should not worry too much about proportions of nutrients. Rather you should be looking at the quality of food from where the nutrients are coming. There is no food that contains pure carbs or pure fats. If there are, they all are synthetic, man made. Therefore instead of going for supplements, you should be consuming whole, natural foods, like for carbs eat fruits and starchy veggies, for proteins legumes and for fats nuts and seeds. As you see, none of these natural foods have only one nutrient, but have a nature-made right proportions of all macro and micro nutrients. That is how nutrients work, not in isolation. I read your problem. First you have to take healthy diet and avoid spicy food and oily food. Drink plenty of water. Wash your face regular. I guess your body's resting energy is very high that is why your body is burning all that you eat, without adding to your weight. Try eating something every 2-3 hours to avoid long periods of fasting. Eat proteins rich food to gain muscle mass. For customised diet, take consultation separately.

Usually black spots won't go with any face washes. Sunscreen s and pigment Reducing creams are to be used for pigmentation. And if they are raised spots then it has to removed with the laser machine.

Hi, use honey and lemon in the morning which boosts your immunity and metabolism. Its better to have small and frequent meals and this type of diet keeps you fit. It generally includes a 6 meal pattern where you will have breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, evening snack, Dinner and bed time snack. Include high fibre foods like whole grains, legumes and pulses, vegetables, fruits and skimmed milk, lean meat, skin out chicken, fish, salads, beverages like green tea, lemon tea, buttermilk. Avoid refined carbohydrates, oily and fried foods, butter, ghee, red meat, junk food, carbonated beverages. Give a gap of 2 hours between dinner and sleep and start walking at least 20-30 minutes a day initially and you can extend it 1-2 km per week depending on your tolerance. Stay hydrated all the time and take stairs instead of lift, in a healthy way you can reduce 2 kg per month.

Hey I have a doubt regarding an unprotected sex. I had an unprotected sex last week and two hours I drink ginger tea as I read about this remedy on Google and then the very next I took I pill. I had my sex around 5 pm and I took I pill around 2 pm. Last month I had my periods on 20 October and I did intercourse on 6 November and after taking I pill I was having white discharge but it was normal but as my dates are near the white discharge increases is there any relation between I pill and white discharge I am worried. Please reply me soon.

Hello, Leucorrhoeal discharge might cause prior to period, often, though date of sexual intimation is beyond ovulation period of yours, making you safe. Take, plenty of water to hydrate your body. I don't eat every fruit and vegetable since childhood now I am 22 years old. I only eat few selected fruits apples, Grapes, dates except these I don't eat any fruit from vegetables I just eat potato. Please check your haemoglobin level. If it is low it will be also a contributing factor for your hairfall. Include lot of veggies in your diet like leafy vegetables, egg,nuts and other protein rich foods. Milk & milk products etc.

Hello Lybrate user, it's common in winter season, in Ayurveda we say it as pitta prakruthi person do get such complaint. Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. To gain weight one must eat a balanced diet. Do not skip any meals and eat small and frequent meal. Include wheat germ and take protein rich diet include milk and milk product, all pulses, take a cup of milk with pinch of turmeric powder, you will get proper sleep or you can take 1 banana with a cup of milk. You should do deep breathing thrice in a day.

With the pollution levels soaring in the city, each one of us is at risk of acquiring health problems. But can some of us are more at risk than others? Yes, indeed! Those of us, who have A, B and AB blood types are more at risk of getting a heart attack than the O blood type as per a report submitted by the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2017.

Presently, in India, the percentage of people who have O blood type is 37.12%, which is higher than the percentage of A, B and AB type. The percentage for A, B and AB type is 22.88%, 32.26% and 7.74% respectively.

So, what should you do to prevent yourself from high risk of heart attack due to pollution

  1. Stay indoors

  2. Wear a mask when you step out

  3. Shift your exercise routine from outdoor to indoor

I am 24 years old female. I suffered from dengue fever last week. It affected my liver function and Dr. Advice me to take pantop DSR capsule and udliv 150 mg two times per day. Now I am recovering and I left these medications. And I brought giloy juice for better liver function. I take it today 3 table spoon mixed with 1 glass of water. Bt I am feeling heaviness on chest and not feeling good. Should I continue with medicine prescribed by Dr. And not take giloy juice? Help me please.

Heaviness in chest may be due to Gas. Usg and liver function test will actually predict the course of treatment plan. If thse are fine then no need to take udiliv. But if gas is there Pan dsr or any herbal alternative like yashtimadhu will work.
