Dear lybrate user, there has to be some strong reason behind her fear. Talk to her what is so fearful about other people coming home? encourage her to talk about what she starts thinking about when someone is visiting your home. Try to understand her thoughts and feelings. Does she feel tired, scared, bored, used, judged, taken for granted etc. Then see how you can help her to modify her thoughts. See if she needs any kind of support from you. About her behavioural changes, it appears to me that your wife has learnt this behaviour from her parents/grandparents/teachers etc. Probably she thinks that it is ok to behave like this. She is not realising how distressing it is for you. Firstly, when she is not angry, talk to her and try to learn more about her parents and their way of showing their anger or frustration. You will get some clue. Then you can show her that she is also expressing her displeasure or anger in the same way and it hurts you. You may tell her a few other alternatives to express anger - like what you do when you get angry or frustrated. The abusive language also she must have learnt in her childhood. Ask her to make conscious efforts to use alternative and mild words. Tell her how her abusive language impacts other people and ultimately her relations with them. You will need little patience. But once you make her aware of these things she will know that she is hurting others and there are better ways to express negative feelings. All the best.

During tension/stressful conditions, you should adopt problem solving approach. This means you should be thinking about the ways to get out of the situation. You may have various options, and you should choose the most adequate option to solve your problems. Never ever blame your supports (your dear ones, friends, wellwishers etc), rather be thankful to them for their kind help. Try to come into your regular routine at the earliest. Take healthy timely meals, adequate rest, leisure and sleep.

You need to go to an oral surgeon. This is sub-mucous fibrosis which can become cancerous. You need to work on quitting tobacco as it is the cause of this problem and will increase the risk of cancer if you continue.

I am 58 years male .Due to business loss and financial problems I happened to have acute sleeping disorder which led to alcohol consumption. My head, hand's paws and wrist start torturing as if these organs were going to blast off . I cannot write the exact volume of agony when I close my eyes to sleep. please suggest the line of cure.

Alcohol abuse is no solution to any proble. So first of all alcohol abuse needs to be stopped. Along with this other associted problems need to be handled.

Used to be a very positive person. Used to trust people blindly. Until a certain point that i started to push everyone far away from me. Everything t came crashing down. I started to realise that i am failure in life education relationships. Cant take it anymore. Don't know what to do. Everywhere i go all i see is backstabbers betrayal dishonesty etc.

If it is true that, ?everywhere you go all you see is backstabbers, betrayal, and dishonesty, are you suggesting that you just discovered them? And have you just discovered that you are a ?failure in life, education, and relationships? Something went suddenly wrong. You are into your late adolescence, and may be a delayed adolescence too, that at this time the world may suddenly look bleak. This may be how you feel. The truth is that you are still young with a lot of possibilities in life. All this realizations must help you know what to do to reshape your outlook. So many great people have only become famous due to their ability to harness the gains from failure to support success. You can do it for sure, too. However, if you push ?everyone? away, you cannot succeed and may actively jeopardize your whole life. You can still pursue your studies, if you have done proper career guidance testing or aptitude testing. Failed relationships can be a bad body-blow during this time. Check out, if you have somehow been the cause. I strongly suspect that you may have a rejection issue which is precipitating all your woes. This may have some basis from your childhood and family of origin. Talk to a counselor and examine this possibility and get help to sort it out. If you need some understanding of that issue I could send you some information. But take life into your hands, and along with some assistance from a professional, a lot can still be achieved.

None of the feelings are to be controlled. The way you express them has to be appropriate. Now anger is pure energy and people mistakenly think that they must express anger violently, or aggressively, or they can damage something, or throw a fit, or kill, or hurt, or withdraw, etc. These expressions can be followed, if they are appropriate to the situation. You can instead simply talk about the feeling, write about it and share it with someone who understands; scream and shout in a situation which warrants it and so on. When the expression is most suitable, the repercussions are minimized and the other person tends to understand and is willing to apologize and sort out the matter. Many of us are inclined to worry about the consequences of expressing anger and use fear to suppress the legitimate expression. You can exorcise your anger out of your system by exercising, but it is the energy that is expended not the feeling. Unexpressed feelings will hurt you back by clinging on to a favorite organ and troubling it enough to cause it to malfunction or lead to its total dysfunction. You can also hand over the feeling to God, if you are a spiritual person, and very effectively too. All feelings must be expressed without exception.

My wife's recently i. E on January got a job in goair ground staff in Delhi & I am in Imphal staying with my son, we had conversation in mobile phone everyday but sometimes I get depressed that she could leave me. I am also a Manipur state govt. Employees, it is very difficult for us to meet each other, I cannot leave my job & there is no goair airlines in Manipur. I'm m suffering from panic disorder for the last 1 years & now having medication from my Dr. I got stress each & everyday after the day she leave, I am restless & panicking that what will happen coz Delhi is not safe for North eastern people. So, finally give me some advice to stay free from stress that I am facing everyday. She is young & smart, I don't want spoil her life. This is her dream. I don't have any one to share. Best age to stop smoking is before 40 31st May is “World No Tobacco Day” Quitting smoking before the age of 40 is associated with larger decline in premature death than stopping it at a later date. You are suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or commonly called OCD. You need to meet with a counselor first and a psychiatrist to deal with this issue: do visit one as soon as possible. This is a fear-based condition and for some reason you have not been dealing with this childhood fear which has now developed unto these repetitive adaptations to seem to need it for normal functioning. The behavior will then become based on magical thinking and certain rituals will become necessary to do normal things making you believe that either the frequency or the ritual is important to its success. This of course is a fallacy but there will come a time that even if told the truth, your belief will defy any logic and you will continue behaving like that even if it cripples you in your daily routines. It only appears as though some other force is behind these behaviors and that you are compelled to act in this fashion. That is obviously not true but no one can convince you of anything different. The obsession is a repeating thought pattern with no meaningful outcome; and the compulsiveness is the need to act on those obsessions also in a repeated behavior pattern as though you just cannot help yourself, like the repeated washing and tidying up. There are certain behavioral techniques to be implemented and if they work you may get out of this condition rather easily. If that does not work as desired, then medication has to be introduced, and in combination with counseling much work can be achieved.

You should be able to be creative in your learning tasks. Over and above you should have interest and dedication to whatever you do to have proper attention. Stress in not about worrying about your problems. Stress actually is the amount of load a person is carrying on him at a particluar point of time. These might be physical load (like allergies or chronic conditions), financial, official (like promotion might actually increase the responsibility of a person), or a role change in life (like becoming a father), or any event that causes a role responsibility. So Think when you are saying that i am not going through stress. I don't have anything to worry about. When actually you might be carrying a lot of load on yourself.

Since the detail is not shared, it is better to liquefy the fixed assets, if one is into deep financial crisis. One tends to have a fixated mind, when it comes to fixed assets. He could start something with that money or if there is no fixed assets, friends should get him involved in some kind of work.
