Eat healthy, don't skip meals, avoid all forms of sugar (cola/juices/cold drinks/sweets/chocolates etc) have more of fiber rich food (whole grains instead of refined) have 2-3 fruits a day, avoid eating too much at one meal, and stop sitting or lying down immediately after having food, keep atleast 1 hour gap. Above all combine this with exercises atleast 4-5 times a week.

Hi Wasim Excess fat deposit on tummy area is due to insulin and glucagon hormone imbalance. To lose tummy fat you should avoid starchy and sugary food exm. chapati, rice, bread, potato. U can use high protein diet exm. pannier, egg, chicken. Take lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner.

Dear Lybrate User, you may have come across a number of gimmicking advertisement of medicines which claim to decrease body weight in a very short time. Do not fall prey for such advertisement because the excess weight would not be shredded until each & every underlying cause of being overweight is diagnosed & treated. The basic role behind the process of accumulation of fat in human body is played by Metabolism. Metabolism is the set of life-sustaining chemical transformations within the cells of living organisms. The three main purposes of metabolism are the conversion of food/fuel to energy to run cellular processes, the conversion of food/fuel to building blocks for proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and some carbohydrates, and the elimination of nitrogenous wastes. Accumulation of fat indicates that a considerable amount of the calories which you are taking daily is not used up by the body & is stored as fat. In order to lose the excess fat you need to increase your rate of metabolism. Once your rate of metabolism or BMR is increased your body will use up the excess calories stored as fat in your body. First of all you need to rule out the possibility of the presence of any hormonal disturbance that may be affecting your metabolism. Just conduct a total Thyroid profile test of all your blood (also Serum Testosterone level in case of males). If the reports are within normal limits then you should proceed further to increase your metabolism. If you find any abnormalities in the report you should immediately consult a doctor.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine alfalfa tonic (sbl) (1tbs) twice a day for 15 days and revert. *avoid fried and spicy food *avoid stress and anger. *take a sound sleep. *take milk twice a day *include fruits, vegetables in your diet. *take small meals.

1.Take meat/egg/ fish, poultry, Diary product like milk & milk product, 2.Vegetarian sources of B12 are milk, butter milk, yogurt. Vegetarians have to take B12 supplement./Injection B12 after consulting physician.

Fat of the body can only be catalysed or burnt through exercise and balance diet. This has to be done over sustained periods of time. Only then you can become fit, slim and healthy. There is nothing like 'Fat Cutter' drink. There is food/herb/medicine/gadget that can burn off fat from the body. These things are just myths created in a wild hope that some miracle will transform your body overnight. Unfortunately it is not true. If you want to become fit, then develop healthy habits of eating and exercise.

Few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.

Yes if the lump is developing again and again, then it is a cause of worry. You should get a biopsy done of the area.

You have severe anemia and need iron tablet and injections . Feeling sleepy is due to anemia and you must correct it

Dear Mr. Singh, it's a good gesture on your part to be concerned of your sister's health! as she's got diabetes from the age of 12, it must be type 1 diabetes mostly. Type 1 diabetes means that pancreas is unable to make insulin and hence patient requires to take insulin for the whole life. But at the same time it's very much possible to lead almost normal life and ulmost normal life expectancy. Following are the ways in which you can help her lead a normal life. 1) at home monitoring of blood glucose with a glucose checking machine at home. 2) keeping glucose between 110-160 mg%. As much as possible. 3) avoid low sugar as much as possible. A sugar less than 72 mg% is defined as low sugar. 4) keep checking her for kidney function, hba1c, lipid profile, blood pressure, eye check and foot checkups to diagnose complications and when detected to address it promptly. 5) to take very stringent care during pregnancy. If possible look for newer option of insulin pump should be considered.

Cut Your Extra Deposited Fat with Honey
Any person who has extra fat deposited over tummy and another part of body, can use the following tips with exercise and diet restriction for better result without any side effects.
Mix 20-25 grams honey with plain water at night and keep it till morning. ( Do not use warm water or do not add lemon juice) In the morning drink with empty stomach after brushing your teeth. Same thing do in the morning and drink this mixture at bed time.
In market most of branded honey made by synthetic process. It’s not effective for this way, although sometimes it may gain weight too, so take care about it. Also never make honey on hot stove and never mix it in hot water or hot food.
There is no need to mix lemon juice in honey, it not useful to cut fat, although it will make joint pain in bonus after several months trying.
Honey is very energetic and also it cuts fat sharply, thus whenever using this therapy of honey, you will never get weakness after cutting in food intake also. (Pure Honey is available at our center)

Firstly just get up and get active. Laziness is all in your head. If you really are looking to lose weight you will do something about it and not justify inactivity saying you are lazy. You are too young to let laziness get in the way of weight loss. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Hi to increase weight you should improve your digestive system. By digesting your indigested food with the help of remedy and medicines will ultimately increase your appetite and digestive system. Hello, I am 24 years old female, I've advice to take sunlight because of low vit d so I started being in sunlight for half an hour at evening 4. After a week I started feeling very weak and feverish but there is no fever in blood test. I am taking vit d tablets also. What may be the reason of weakness?

You might be developed dehydration due to extreme exposure to sunlight. Always drink sufficient quantity of water before &after the sunbath. It is good if you take sunbath in morning.

Hye. Sweeteners that most of us use when we are trying to lose weight or if we are a diabetic make our foods and beverages zero or less on sugar calories. When we consume these foods we confuse the body because we are depriving it of the energy it demands. Also when we indulge in a bag of sugar free cookies for example we are thinking “diet food /healthy food”, forgetting that we are actually taking in high glycemic index carbohydrates, trans-fats and additives. These in turn make us crave for more calorie dense foods immediately because a demand was created but not met with. When we are avoiding calories from sugar why are we forgetting the fast carbohydrates from the refined flour, the creams, butters, shortenings used in these foods? Using a sweetener once in a while never did any harm but using it on a regular basis “thinking it is healthy” is harmful for your body. Regular use of sweeteners can cause certain type of cancer, hormonal malfunction and yes even obesity.  The brain very smartly wants real food (nutrition), but when we eat “diet or sugar free” foods we are eating empty calories. So, you finish that sugar free cookie or ice-cream or tea and your brain says, "Keep going until you get real nutrients". The only way we can lose weight or unwanted fats is to eat right and exercise. And when you reach out for the sweetener or a sugar-free food the next time remember replacing sugar with a sweetener will not burn body fats but replacing unhealthy eating habits with a healthier lifestyle will.

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is WHEY protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.
