I wanna loose at least 15-20 kg in next 2 months. Suffering from back pain. I can not be only on salads or fruit diet. I am having a BP problem. I want an immediate weight loss in a short period with long term benefit. I am 34 years single female. I eat more when under any pressure. Feel more hungry. My schedule is very hectic. I do walking n other exercise regularly.

Please do morning walk (brisk-walking)/ treadmill/swimming for at least 60 minutes daily. Keep moving as much as you can whenever you can. Keep meal portions small especially if they’re cooked. Limit your food intake which SHOULD be and ONLY be 4 times a day. Do never skip meals. Take a heavy breakfast. Avoid sedentary life/night watching/junk foods. The best way to burn more calories is to build muscle through resistance training. For each pound of muscle that you gain, you burn approximately 50-70 calories in addition per day (5 pounds of muscle gain equates to burning 250-350 calories a day!) That’s fantastic motivation to start a workout program. Please follow the above for next 4 weeks and revert for further treatment.

Things to Do Before Trying to Conceive Again After a Miscarriage

A miscarriage, though heart wrenching, does not imply the end of the world. Unless the miscarriage is an outcome of a serious health complication, there is nothing to lose heart. In fact, many women have had successful pregnancies even after a miscarriage. Barring a few exceptions, a miscarriage during the first pregnancy reduces the chance of a miscarriage during subsequent pregnancies significantly. However, it is best to get your doubts and apprehensions cleared before you try to conceive again. An experienced gynaecologist can assist and guide you better throughout the process.

  1. A lot of couples wonder about the right time to conceive after a miscarriage. Do not rush into things. Miscarriage can drain out a couple physically, mentally and emotionally. Give your mind and body some time to cope with the loss. Your decision to embrace parenthood should not be influenced by any undue and baseless pressure. Patience and perseverance will make the subsequent pregnancies less stressful. To avoid complications in your next pregnancy, it is best to wait 6 months to 1 year after a miscarriage.
  2. Do not indulge in sexual intercourse immediately after a miscarriage. This might result in immense pain and vaginal infections. If you experience any discomfort, share it with your partner and the physician concerned. Getting pregnant immediately after a miscarriage will do both the mother and the foetus no good.
  3. In case of two or more miscarriages, getting to the underlying cause becomes very important. Medical conditions such as Diabetes, Thyroid problems (Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism), Obesity, Chromosomal aberrations or Infertility often interferes with pregnancy. With timely medical intervention, it is possible to have a healthy and safe pregnancy. To minimise the chances of a miscarriage, pregnant women are given Prenatal Vitamins (Folic Acid in particular).
  4. A pregnant lady should eat healthy and live healthy. The goodness of fruits and vegetables need no special mention. Regular consumption of fresh vegetables and fruits can do the mother and the developing foetus, a world of good. A healthy diet can lower the instances of a miscarriage greatly.
  5. Stress and anxiety are a big NO during pregnancy. Relax and try to be happy as much as possible. Go for small walks, read books, listen to music. Proper and sound sleep is extremely important. One can also indulge in light exercise. However, to be on a safer side, exercise under an expert supervision. If you have been to drinking and smoking, quit the unhealthy habits at the earliest.

A miscarriage should not push you into a state of depression. You can still have a normal pregnancy. Know your body well. Take the decision wisely only after a proper consultation with your physician.

Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. I am an 18 year old college going girl. I have been practicing dieting for the past 5-6 months though not currently but not eating as freely as a teenager of this age do. I have become really diet conscious and has started counting calories in each food article I eat and measure the weights of each and every stuff to keep the calorie intake under control because I am afraid of gaining back the same weight. Though due to unhealthy weight loss method that I opted by skipping meals and even had a phase of calorie intake as low as 1200 calories each day I have caused a lot of harm to my body. I am suffering from certain consequences of unhealthy dieting like irregular menstruation, irritable behaviour, and mental stress by constantly thinking when and what to eat next that may have limited calories and is not fattening and planning out excuses for refusals to those who offer me something unhealthy or extra. My parents and me both feel I am psychologically unwell and has lost control over my behaviour and anger and all of us are stressed about this. I now want to have a balanced diet which would not led to obesity and help me in weight management because my weight loss regime has lead to severe fall in my weight which is now just 35 kgs and my height is 5'2".I want my behaviour to be the same as it used to be - jolly, polite and loving. What should I do because now I have become addict of counting calories and measuring weights of each food I eat and has completely cut back the junk food and find it difficult to attend social gatherings. Please help asap because I want to recover from this addiction and be carefree and manage a normal weight at the same time and keep my mind on track so that I can focus better on my studies and lead a successful life.
