Hello, I do exercise for 30 minutes and walking for 7-8 kms for five (5) days in a week. My weight is 89 at present & lose 2 kgs since Feb 2017. I don't take any type of oily & fried food, no cold drink, pizza, burger etc. Eat 3-4 eggs (white Part) in morning, Daily A fruit, dry fruits almonds & walnut alternately, Eat 2or 3 chapatis in lunch & dinner with daal/cooked vegetable. But My speed of losing weight is very slow and also feel indigestion also. please advise.

I experience sudden attacks after I try to concentrate on some mental work or I am in mental tension. During these attacks, initially I experience fatigue. Then I feel numbness in my hands. Gradually, my hands starts shaking. I become unable to concentrate. My breath rate increases. Within 30 minutes the numbness increases to my whole body, tongue, lips, hands, fingers, feet, it feels like ants are crawling in them. I feel very warm inside and unable to click even a mouse button. At peak level, I am unable to sit or breath, heart rate increases, unable to speak clearly and it seems I will lose consciousness, but I never lose it, I am constantly aware of my surrounding during this time. This situation improves after 30 minutes whether with treatment or without treatment. The whole duration of such attacks is around 1 to 2 and half hour. After these, I feel very weak. My ECG, CHEST XRAY, BLOOD SUGAR, BLOOD PRESSURE, is normal as from the reports while I was taken to hospitals, during such attacks. I got such situation for first time last August. The doctor treated with some injections and glucose bottles.In March 2017, I got such attacks three times. Almost same treatment. In April, I got only one attack, after which the doctor prescribed glucose drips. My situation improved and I felt no attacks. Then, it again appeared on 6 May, almost same treatment. Then yesterday and I couldn't got any treatment, and situation improved automatically after 2 or 3 hours though, I am still feeling weak. My grip in objects is reduced. My 2 kg weight lost in these two months. I am a smoker. My lips are dry always since childhood. Constant morning little cough for more than three years. I drink enough water. I am in doubt. Either this condition is due to stress because it always happen when I think a lot about my, or my business, or my exams or finance. Or it maybe due to type 2 diabetes, because I remain good when I constantly drink glucose or eat fruits like watermelon or grapes.

Hye. Thankyou for the query. As per your height your weight on scale is fine. You need to maintain a healthy fat percentage and energy levels. A healthy lifestyle involves, choosing a balanced diet and healthy eating plan. A healthy eating plan: Emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products Includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts Choose foods low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium), and added sugars A healthy eating plan that helps you manage your health includes a variety of foods you may not have considered. If "healthy eating" makes you think about the foods you can't have, try refocusing on all the new foods you can eat— All seasonal fruits are great. Vegetables ― try something new each week, as per season. Commit to going to the green grocery and trying a new vegetable each week. Calcium-rich foods ― not only milk but curd, paneer or nuts and seeds and some vegetables and pulses too. A new twist on an old favorite ― if your favorite recipe calls for frying fish or breaded chicken, try healthier variations using baking or grilling. Maybe even try a recipe that uses paneer or soya nuggets in place of higher-fat meats. Healthy eating is all about balance. Your weight is normal. Change food habites over eating, havy food, non veg, rich proteins, avoid too much seating take some few minuties break walk few minuties than work. Do arobic excersices, yoga, fast walking will help you reduce belly fats take simple veg home made food with salad.

Hi lybrate-user tips for weight loss eat fresh vegetables daily. Avoid having sugar completely. Eat whole wheat bread instead of white bread; avoid everything made from white flour and make whole wheat bread, chapattis and brown rice a way of life. Do not skip a meal and eat three meals a day. Drink plenty of water to eliminate the toxins from the system. Limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day. Suvarna prashan sanskar is one of the 16 essential rituals described in ayurveda for children.

Taking ayurveda along with regular allopathic (modern) medicine:

We generally don't advise to immediately discontinue allopathic medicines if you are under treatment for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, neurological disorders, arthritis, mental disorders and heart diseases. Besides, there is no harm in taking both types of medicines as long as you keep your ayurvedic doctor informed. However, it is important to maintain at least an hour's gap between the two types of medications. In due course of time, depending on your progress, the ayurvedic doctor may reduce the dose of the allopathic medicines. Make sure that you follow any advice or recommendation given by your ayurvedic doctor regarding this process.

Dear Sir, I am Diabetic, Type 2, for the past, 35 years, Having heavy burning sensation below hip to feet, hence no good sleep during night so doctor advised me to take Axxit 0.5 mg sleeping tablet 5 years back still I am continuing. Sleep medicines will not cure the cause of your burning pain. It could be because of uncontrolled or fluctuating blood sugar levels, or a nerve which is getting compressed in your hips, or the effect of vitamin deficiencies, smoking etc. Once this is sorted and the pain settles, you may not feel the necessity of taking sleeping pills.

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of excess protein in our diet. Many people replenish the demand of extra protein by taking protein supplements. The most effective protein supplement is WHEY protein. Body-builders take supplements according to a fixed schedule. They take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. They take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again they take 40 grams of whey just after finishing workout. Now you are a normal person & unless you have any intention to compete in bodybuilding competition you do not need to follow the above timings of whey protein. In fact you can get the extra protein from your diet only. Try to take 50- 70 grams of protein daily. That would be sufficient for your daily need. Excess protein produces excess harmful urea. Our kidney has to function more to excrete this excess harmful urea from our body. So excess protein creates excess pressure on our kidneys. For better reasons try to take protein from plant origin. Protein obtained from animal sources like meat & egg are found to play an important role in cancer. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.
