General emotional dejection and withdrawal; sadness greater and more prolonged than that warranted by any objective reason, may be seen as a diagnosis of depression. Other symptoms may include feelings of hopelessness, and or pessimism, feeling of guilt, irritability, and restlessness and loss of appetite. One foremost or cardinal sign of depression is a loss of interest in the objects or people previously liked and appreciated by the individual. With the blind race about possession of more and more resources, the rate of depression is growing high. A throat cut competitive environment at social and professional level is another reason behind stress anxiety and depression.

Though it's a truth that depression occurs because of arbitrary thought process, and counselling plays an important role in it, medicines are also often required. Ayurveda prescribes the wonderful solution in this regard.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion.

In case of diabetes you have to eat nutrient dense food and exercise well. You need a diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, white rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water. Exercise atleast 5 times a week. Do not overeat. Eat 3 proper meals and 2 snack in between. Stop when your stomach is 80% full. Eat slowly.

Hello, have fruits after 1 hr gap from breakfast. They vl help in digestion. Don't take any fruits in empty stomach. Don't have citrus fruits in evening. Take light dinner n heavy breakfast.

Increase your appetite by eating more to gain weight. But do it step-by-step and not by stuffing yourself too much at one go. Add one extra chapatti or more rice than you normally consume, or you could even start with fruits by eating an extra one every day.? Including the following foods in your diet is also a good idea. Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. With TSH 7.55 mU/L, it is considered as sub-clinical hypothyroidism. In such a condition no treatment is advocated. However, if there are troublesome symptoms related to hypothyroidism are present then treatment is indicated. Male pattern of baldness may not be related to hypothyroidism, as some persons tend to loose hair much early. My suggestion is get an Anti TPO antibody test done to see if the number is higher than normal. Then do come back If confirmed hypothyroidism is there then only option is to take thyroxine tablets. In adequate dosage. Thanks.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. Don't take products for weight loss but can consume products for weight gain and for a healthy weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

First start with some healthy habits like stop eating oily, outside, preserved foods. Start eating home made foods only. Drink plenty of fluids. Eat more of vegetable and fruits. Do more of yoga, floor exercise and surya-namaskar. Keep minimum 2 hours of gap between meal and bed time. Start taking warm water in the morning along with lemon or fenugreek seed powder or green tea.

One question has been haunting me for quite sometime. Doctors say drink 8 to 9 glasses of water .Ok fine but it disturbs your sleep as you ave to go to toilet very often which is irritating and uncomfortable. You can not drink at one go all the 8 glasses. It has to stretch till 6 to 7 pm or may be till your dinner time. Advice.

Hello Lybrate user you can not drink 8-10 glass of water at a one go it should strech upto dinner. If we consider your problem of going frequently for toilet it's may be due to some other reason if we consider your age factor it's 66 years so if you are having problem of increased frequency of urination you should check out your your blood sugar levels.

You need to reduce your carbohydrate and fat content n your daily diet. Restrict sweets, rice, bananas and other high calorie foods. Take high protein diet and fruits & vegetables /salads on a daily basis.
