The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

Aapka daant tut gya hai. Kaha tak tuta hai ye janne ke bad uska treatment decide ho skta hai. Agar tute daant ka pulp damage n hua ho to daant k upar composite filling kr ke use pehle jaisa build up kr skte hai. Agar pulp damage hua hai to root canal treatment krni pdegi. Aur us daant ka root fracture hua ho to most probably wo daant niklvana pdega. Aap dentist ke pas jaie aur uski advice leke treatment krvaie. Possible ho to apke tute daant ka photo aur uska x-ray krvaya ho to x-ray ka photo muje mail kijiye. So that I can advice you about treatment.

My one Tooth at lower Job is removed, I wish to fit new with bridge etc. How far it will cost?

It would be advisable to have the missing tooth replaced by a bridge or for more longer durability an implant will be better. Regarding the cost - for anything you want to get done - there are lot of variations. The better the quality and the material as well as the expertise used the higher the cost. Its like you have a shawl or a stole - the better the material the greater the cost and if more the workmanship on the same again the greater the cost. So it depends what you want to ge done. Metaless crown and bridges are the best available today - E max or Lava but then these are also expensive to the dental surgeon.

3 Reasons Why Summer is the Best Time for Kids to Get Braces

Crooked teeth pull down a child's morale in a big way. It not just impacts their chewing and looks, but also makes oral hygiene practices difficult for the child and the parent. Orthodontic treatment, which may involve removing a couple of teeth and realigning the other teeth is very popular to correctly align these teeth.

The entire process of this treatment starting from initial visits to diagnosis to completing treatment to follow-up is a prolonged one. While the time with the dentist is quite significant, the time for the child to adjust to the braces and come to terms with the new'thing' in their mouth is also quite taxing.

This requirement of time followed by need of adjustment time makes summer the ideal time to get braces for the children. Read on to understand a little more on the same:

Time/scheduling: the summer holidays gives children enough time to make the numerous visits without having to affect their school routine. The child and the parent have to make numerous visits to the dentist, the initial oral examination, getting radiographs done, moulds done, removal of teeth if required, checking for their healing, getting the braces in place, and follow-up visits for adjustments. In addition, on the child's side, they need sufficient time to heal from the teeth removal, get used to the presence of the metallic braces (in most cases) in their mouth, and get used to the new oral care methods. Another thing to consider also is the proximity of the dental clinic and the availability of the orthodontist. Most clinics schedule the orthodontist visit on one day of the week to cover all cases. Also, most children are in their early or late teens when they go for braces and are therefore in important stages of their academics. Therefore, summer becomes the best time to go for braces without affecting the schedule.
Oral care: having braces requires extra care from the child to learn oral hygiene measures. The braces make it easy for food particles to remain on the teeth, increasing chances of decay and gum disease. The child needs to make a conscious effort to keep this clean as developing decay during the treatment complicates the whole scene. Therefore, summer gives the ample time required to get used to the oral care routine.
Safety: children with braces who are into sports should start using mouth-guards to protect them from injury during contact sports. Again, summer is a time to indulge in sports, and this will give the child adequate time to adjust to the use of mouth-guards.

All these make summer the ideal time to go for orthodontic treatment.

Thanks in anticipation of your reply.

Hi Sir, We can replace the missing teeth by two options one is a removable one & the other is a fixed one. Removable ones are cheaper but not advisable. Fixed ones are called bridges. But to have a bridge the last teeth should be present.Without the last teeth it would be difficult to do bridge.Treatments vary based on the position of the missing teeth. Only a nearby dentist can guide you properly after clinically examined you. Regards JAI

Kindly consult an oral & maxillofacial surgeon in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (full mouth x-ray, tmj open & closed mouth, mri) & clinical examination to decide upon treatment. Until then have soft diet. Avoid yawning. Replace posterior teeth if they are missing. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months. There are some simple measures that can help tmj problems, such as a change to a soft diet, jaw muscle exercises in exceptional cases a specialist dentist, known as a maxillo-facial surgeon, may be required to perform surgery on the tmj.

Hi, teeth grinding (bruxism) is a psychosomatic disorder, usually a person is under heavy stress. Best remedy for this is to make lifestyle changes like regular exercise, reduce intake of coffee, tea at night, meditation and breathing exercise, etc. For dental consideration it affects muscles of jaw and teeth structure. Best thing is see you dentist and get night guards (thin puc trays that covers and cushions your teeth) and use them regularly.
