My mouth is smelling too much with use of good toothpaste. What you suggest? What I do?
Infections in the mouth, such as dental caries (tooth decay), periodontal (gum) disease or mouth sores related to other conditions may contribute to bad breath. Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. Dry mouth also can cause bad breath. Smoking or chewing tobacco-based products also can cause bad breath, You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then.

The foul smell is coming from mouth when I release deep breath. What should I do?

The foul smell is coming from mouth when I release deep breath. What should I do?
Hi, there are various reasons of bad breath, like impurities in blood, inefficient digestive system, dry mouth (lack of saliva production), gum disease, cavities, plaque and tartar formation around teeth and gums, kind of diet, improper brushing / cleaning of mouth etc. I would advise you to get a thorough physical and dental examination to rule out the cause of bad breath and to solve it permanently.

This is common in pregnancy as the hormones play a vital role, it is may be due to the yellowish tartar accumulated in the gums, once the delivery is done, kindly visit the dentist for cleaning, as it is harmful to undergo any procedure in thrid trimester.

Some days back, I had root canal of my molar tooth but I didn't apply cap after root canal. Actually cap is very costly. So please suggest me shall I ask doctor to remove that tooth (if no side effects) or shall I go for applying cap.

If you have got rct done there is no point to get it extracted. Caps are costly no doubt but you can opt for a metal cap which is cheaper than others. After rct you should get a cap within a month. Without cap don't try to chew with that tooth.

Ulcers in the mouth may result from irregular sleep and diet habits. Malnutrition also is a cause. Genetic factors also contribute which result in cycles of ulcers round the year. Eat balanced diet. Take any vitamin supplements for a month. Gargle your mouth with warm salt water whenever you have ulcers.

In 2008 I got my right side lower jaw wisdom tooth removed next tooth root canal was done in September this year severe pain started visited dentist he took an X-Ray & said infection in root canal as it was not properly done. Re-Root canal got done but again suddenly pain started Dr. advised to take Metrogyl 400 for 5 days pain stopped, cement filling was done & Cap was fixed but from second day pain again started I visited Dentist again he says will remove cap & filling keep it open with some cement in it for few months the infection will automatically go & then he will fill & fix the cap is this procedure correct? Please advice.

Dear. This is very unfortunate that your RCT was not properly done. When root canal treatment works, it is a great treatment–a great way to save your tooth. However, in about 5% to 15% of the cases, a root canal or endodontic treatment will have failed. Right now your doctor is killing infection and bacteria using antibiotics and allowing it to become infection free before sealing it again. It is the only way left. Just get an xray done again to see if there is any extra canal that need to be sealed or a sinus have developed. Continue with your medications.

I am 30 years old I have problem of my teeth pain please advise me.
You have to maintain your oral hygiene and can keep your teeth clean and healthy gums. You have to ensure this by keeping them clean and polished so that there is no deposit on teeth and oral hygiene is maintained, for this you need to brush your teeth twice a day and use listerin mouthwash regularly after meals or at least once before going to sleep in night. Visit your dentist at least once in six months or a year for checkup. Doctor will do needful.

I got a dental bridge done on molars over an year ago. After a month or so, I am experiencing severe stench from outer side of the bridge. I went back to the same clinic and complained, but I was told that as there is no pain nor swelling, it's all ok! I had been very sensitive to foul smelling of others' mouth. Now, I am with it perpetually! what should I do to get back my oral confidence?

Since teeth cleaning is as important for children as for adults, they should use a toothbrush which has a small round head and soft bristles. It helps in cleaning their milk teeth thoroughly.
