Ayurveda,
She's having hairfall every time she combs her hair.
And a large number of hair falls at a time.
Hair needs nutrition n care. We do not give care in today' s time. Inspite stress, fast food n shampoo worsen the situation. Apply mahabhringraj hair oil n massage gently with pores of fingers whenever you get time. Massage increases the blood circulation. So hair gets nutrition. Avoid stress. Medicine is also available.

Hi doctors. My dog is a labrador. Of 3 years. He is not eating any food. But only some pedigree. He is looking very sad and weak. Do not know why. Help.

Go and consult your nearby vet. If regular deworming is not being done, vet will deworm your dog. Better to go for blood test once. Treatment will go accordingly to blood test report. If its normal, give one appetite stimulant syrup like aptipet or aptiquik or livoferol 10 ml twice a day. Hope positive result will come.

Hello lybrate-user you can go for laser procedures for your acne problem. It will take 4-6 sessions with a time interval of 4 weeks between each session. Other than this you can opt of microdermabrasion or micro needle Rf which is less aggressive than laser by consulting a good dermatologist.

Start your day with a glass or two of plain water. Research has proven that drinking water first thing in the morning helps jump start your metabolism and helps remove toxins from your body.Try taking a ten minute walk after your every meal. This can help you burn a few calories quickly and aid in digestion. Fiber-rich foods might help boost weight loss by helping you to feel fuller after you eat. High-fiber foods generally require more chewing time, which gives your body time to register when you are no longer hungry, so you are less likely to overeat.Eat at home eat less salt do push up and squats.

How should I reduce my weight as I am not eating so much even though m walking n running also then also my weight is ...
Hello Lybrate user -- Just walking and running will not help you to reduce weight. You have to see what you are eating, how much and when and most importantly your lifestyle. Increase your proteins, especially in the morning. Limit your carbs and give stress on fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid fizzy drinks and fruit juices, instead drink veg. Juice. Eat lots of salads -- this will provide fibre and keep you full for a longer time. Do not take proteins at night and have your breakfast within 1/2 hr. Of getting up. Always have curd in lunch. Never keep yourself hungry, no cravings. Eat 5 meals instead of 3. For a detailed and personalized diet plan you can contact me personally.

My age 30 year suffering from rheumatoid arthritis last 20 year. Still have pain and in all big joint still taking medicine. Auryadic. Can it was treatment is there.

Improper food habits and sedentary lifestyle can lead to impairment of digestive fire, formation of ama (toxin) and vitiation of Vata (air). When a person indulges in Vata-aggravating diet and lifestyle, then this aggravated Vata circulates ama in the channels of the body and deposits it in the joints, causing Amavata. Ayurvedic treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis starts with pacification of Vata and elimination of toxins from the body. Herbal medicines are administered to improve the digestive fire and prevent further formation of ama. Panchakarma massage therapies are quite useful in subsiding pain in Arthritic patients. Go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid or semi-solid diet for an entire day, depending on your strength. You can follow this with hot fomentation (application of moist heat). This can be done by soaking cloth in warm water and giving a compress over the affected parts or steam bath or taking a bath with lukewarm water. These are the best methods of digesting ama.

Hi Good Evening! How to control snoring? Does pranayam help on it? Thanks and Regards Smit.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Lifestyle changes to stop snoring Lose weight. If you’re overweight, dropping even a few pounds can reduce fatty tissue in the back of the throat and decrease or even stop snoring. Exercise can also help to stop snoring. As well aiding weight loss, exercising your arms, legs, and abs, for example, also leads to toning the muscles in your throat, which in turn can lead to less snoring. There are also specific exercises you can do to strengthen the muscles in your throat (see below). Quit smoking. Quitting is easier said than done, but smoking irritates the membranes in the nose and throat which can block the airways and cause snoring. Get help with quitting here. Avoid alcohol, sleeping pills, and sedatives because they relax the muscles in the throat and interfere with breathing. Talk to your doctor about any prescription medications you’re taking, as some encourage a deeper level of sleep which can make snoring worse. Establish regular sleep patterns. Create a healthy bedtime ritual with your partner and stick to it. Hitting the sack in a routine way together can help you sleep better and often minimize snoring. Bedtime remedies to help you stop snoring Clear nasal passages. If you have a stuffy nose, rinse sinuses with saline before bed. Using a Neti pot, nasal decongestant, or nasal strips can also help you breathe more easily while sleeping. If you have allergies, reduce dust mites and pet dander in your bedroom or use an allergy medication. Keep bedroom air moist. Dry air can irritate membranes in the nose and throat, so if swollen nasal tissues are the problem, a humidifier may help. Change your sleeping position. Elevating your head four inches may ease breathing and encourage your tongue and jaw to move forward. There are specially designed pillows available to help prevent snoring by making sure your neck muscles are not crimped. Sleep on your side instead of your back. Try attaching a tennis ball to the back of a pajama top or T-shirt. (You can sew a sock to the back of your top then put a tennis ball inside.) If you roll over onto your back, the discomfort of the tennis ball will cause you to turn back onto your side. Alternatively, wedge a pillow stuffed with tennis balls behind your back. After a while, sleeping on your side will become a habit and you can dispense with the tennis balls. Try an anti-snoring mouth appliance. These devices often resemble an athlete’s mouth guard and help open your airway by bringing your lower jaw and/or your tongue forward during sleep. While a dentist-made appliance can be expensive, cheaper do-it-yourself kits are also available. Throat exercises to stop snoring

I am suffering from acne problem is there any home remedy or natural remedy to get rid of them?

I am suffering from acne problem is there any home remedy or natural remedy to get rid of them?
Dear, These are the causes of acne: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid acne: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • use a mild moisturiser for your skin.

7 Tips for Weight Loss 1. Hydrate. Drink water often. 2. Exercise. Aerobics, running, swimming, jumping on the trampoline. 3. Color your meals! I know at first this sounds stupid, but studies have shown that the more colorful (naturally, of course) your food is, the healthier it is! 4. Increase your metabolism. The higher your metabolism is, the easier it is to lose weight. 5. Navigate proper liver function! The liver is the organ that processes fat, and a healthy liver will completely break down the fat that would eventually store in unwanted areas. 6. Get sufficient sleep. An awake, energized body is highly likely to work all around better than a tired, worn out one. 7. Drink green tea! Some may think it's disgusting, others may love it. All I know is it aids quite well in losing weight.

Lot of things to do. Soaps will dry out your skin, so they r an absolute no. No vigorous rubbing of skin on face or body. Before bath, oil body with any oil be it coconut, olive. Use a soap free body wash or a dermatological tested medical soap. After bath, pat dry within three minutes and apply moisturizer. Include dry fruits like almond, walnuts, figs, groundnuts. Have plenty of salmon, mackerel and sardine. Drink two litres of water. Have roasted flax seeds. Avoid alcohol and aerated drinks or they will dehydrate you more. Use loose cotton clothes.
