Facing tooth pain from last one month.what can i do?
First you need to be investigated properly to rule out the cause of pain. It may be due to abcess in tooth, gum disease, cavity inside tooth, after diagnosis treatment can be planned. You can consult me. For temporary relief you can take ketorol dt 2 tabs dissolved in half cup of water or ibuprofen after meal.

How to make my tee...
Twice daily brushing and rinsing of mouth after every meal, 6 month check up by dentist would help you prevent cavities. Existing cavities have to be restored by dentist. Tooth whitening can by done by bleaching teeth.

Bad Breath - How to Get Rid of it!

MBBS, Ph.D. Alternative medicine
Alternative Medicine Specialist, Patiala
Bad Breath - How to Get Rid of it!

Bad breath is a condition that is also known as Halitosis in medical terms. It is mostly caused by the sulphur producing bacteria that lurk around beneath the surface of the tongue. This is what produces the foul odour. These bacteria grow with the help of protein that gets deposited in your mouth, and may develop even faster when there is poor oral hygiene at play. The causes of this protein deposit may include food debris, bleeding, mucus blood, infection and disease in the gums or oral tissues.

So how can you naturally combat this bad breath problem? Read on!

  1. Oral Care Products: Your very first step should be to change your oral hygiene products like toothpastes and mouthwashes in order to bring in products that are specifically used for fighting bad breath and the related causes or problems. Brushing and flossing at least twice a day, or even after every meal is an absolute necessity that one must not compromise on.
  2. Fibre Rich Food: It is important to have plenty of fibre rich food as this helps in preventing bad breath or Halitosis since the fibre content is known to flush toxins out effectively.
  3. Junk and Processed Food: Food that has too much of sugar or artificial sweeteners and food that is packaged and processed with artificial flavourings and emulsifiers, can be bad for the digestive system in general. This kind of food also tends to create bad breath and should be avoided in case you are already suffering from this condition.
  4. Medication: It may come as a surprise to you that there are certain medicines like antidepressants and diuretics that can lead to side effects like drying of the mouth, which in turn can cause a problem of bad breath. So, it would be recommended to steer clear of this kind of medication for a while until the bad breath problem abates.
  5. Tea: Drinking green and black tea can be beneficial for people suffering from this condition as both these types of tea happen to contain substances known as polyphenols that can help in fighting oral bacteria and sulphur compounds. Apart from this, one must also drink plenty of water in order to keep the mouth fresh and to help the digestion work in a better.
  6. Dentures and Braces: If you happen to be wearing dentures and braces, then you may want to clean these regularly and maintain good oral hygiene so that you do not suffer from bad breath.

Bad breath can be a confidence killer and one should get it checked in case it is a persistent and prolonged problem. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

Treatment dental pain teeth pain may be due to various reasons like infection, sensitivity or trauma. If your teeth is decayed it is better to get it filled or treated by a dentist. If you are opting for root canal treatment do not forget to get a crown on the effected tooth. If you want to go for only medicinal treatment so let me tell you only medicine are not going to be very effective untill you get this treated by a dentist.

- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser.

HI, From my teeth blood comes while brushing or mouth wash what should I do.

Regards.
Hi visit your nearby dentist and get a scaling done. Use a mouthwash after that for 7-10 days. You can use parodontax toothpaste for 15 days to put a rest to the gum bleeding. Also to prevent bleeding from gums in future, brush twice daily with an ultra soft bristles toothbrush, rinse your mouth after every meal and use a dental floss for cleaning the inter dental spaces.

Ma'm, success of implants depends on various factors such as amount of bone, medical history of patient etc etc. Kindly consult a reputed implantologist before going to any dentist for treatment near your residence. I can understand this can be a bit of inconvenience but trust me it will be worthwhile.

My molar teeth has broken 3/4 part and I want to clean my teeth also what should I do and what will be cost for treat...
We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment with a cap. Cost varies with dentist. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Ask her to avoid taking very hot beverages and spicy food cause may be this may be the cause of mucosal thinning and ask her to take one tablet of vitamin c 500 mg chew able tablet for 20 days as it will help increase repairing and one becosule capsule every night for 15 days. Her problem will resolve and even ask her to get her endoscopy of stomach to rule out any occurrence of peptic ulcer.

While brushing it bleeds. What to do?

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, BDS, MFDS RCPS (Glasgow)
Dentist,
This usually indicates progressing gum disease. See a dentist as you might need a good professional cleaning to get rid of plaque and tartar (calculus) deposits that are the usual culprits, and that, once established, will not go away without the professional cleaning. Bleeding gums might also, occasionally, indicate underlying nutritional deficiency or systemic disorders, which also might be identified during a professional evaluation.

Hi my upper right jaw is paining. Please tell me the cure of this problem

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, BDS, MFDS RCPS (Glasgow)
Dentist,
For the time being, use any painkiller available over-the-counter. If you can identify a particular tooth as the source, you can temporarily numb the pain by placing a clove on the site and biting down on it. Then see your dentist about the actual cause, and get the appropriate treatment.

What are the side of removal molar teeth? I have decayed teeth which causes pain sometimes.

What are the side of removal molar teeth?
I have decayed teeth which causes pain sometimes.
There is no side effects of removing molar teeth. But first you should ask your dentist that whether it can be saved by doing RCT and capping or not. If not then you can go for removal. Its a matter of 3 days of discomfort for which you will have to take painkillers and not chew food on the side of removal for 3-4 days. After that it will be fine.
