Dear lybrate user masturbation doesn't cause any kind of physical weakness or loss of energy. It is very common myth. So don't worry. So stop blaming yourself and don't be in guilt of masturbation. Physically it will not cause any weakness. But very rarely when people get addicted to it and do it very often - it affects ones professional focus and concentration. For your gastritis problem avoid spicy and nonveg food in your diet for a month and also avoid peanuts and for a week take curd rice or khichdi.

Pain in ankle is a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ankle/foot & toe exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. It needs to be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

I have a headache and my board exams are starting in 2-3 days and I am tensed about it.
Please have a pain killer for your headache. Any allopathy medicine meant for stress busting will have side effects so I don't recommend that to you. Instead some life skills which will take away the stress during exam time will always stay with you to protect you from stress. Time Management Guidelines 1. Plan your time wisely. Those who fail to plan are planning to fail! 2. Establish goals: a. Know where you are going and what you want to accomplishb. Be motivated to accomplish your goalsc. Invest your time in a much more meaningful way 3. Update your goals continuously. 4. Prioritize your goals, using a 1-2-3 ranking. 1=extremely important; 2=somewhat important; 3=little importance. 5. Identify those activities you must accomplish to reach your goals. 6. Identify obstacles that will prohibit you from accomplishing your goals. 7. Schedule your activities, allowing time for: (1) essential activities, (2) routine tasks, (3) previous commitments, and (4) interruptions and crisis situations. 8. Allow yourself “planning time.” Schedule activities for the next day in the evening. 9. Allocate at least one hour a day for uncommitted time to take advantage of targets of opportunity or unanticipated demands on your time. 10. Eliminate “must” activities quickly to allow more time for more demanding activities. Eliminating “musts” will reduce tension and anxiety caused by interruptions and distractions. 11. Prepare a “daily activity list” in priority ranking 12. Learn to say “No!” 13. Establish a routine of when and where people can reach you. When people know times you are available, they will contact your during that time and not interrupt or distract you throughout the day 14. Learn to delegate! Any activity which someone else can do for you eg. Drive you to a tuition class. Give the job to them so that you get more time to prepare/ relax/ sleep etc. 15. Ask this question at all times: “What is the best use of my time at this moment in light of my goals? Besides the above: 1. Eat only healthy food and avoid processed, refined and junk food because it will tire you and your brain out faster than anything else. Junk food is linked to anxiety and depression also. 2. Keep drinking water to hydrate yourself. Thus will help you to concentrate and retain more than anything else. Avoid excess caffeine and alcohol as it slows down brain capacity to retain and reproduce. 3. Get your beauty sleep even during exams. Though this is a time eater but if you get your sleep then your capacity to study will increase drastically the next day to retain and reproduce. There are natural sleep inducers and stress busters in ayurveda which are safe to have. I would recommend those over allopathy. 4. Exercise everyday to increase blood and oxygen flow to the brain and body. Your mind will be sharp and alert all day and not get stressed out easily.

Sir I am suffering from a problem of mouth ulcers from a regular interval of time what should I do.
If the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. You could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice generated to the area where the ulcer is located. Clove buds are a great ingredient to cure sore throat too. To prevent the ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your mouth with a little salt water. Remember, this won’t make the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain. Honey is a natural humectant. It helps reduce scarring and hastens the process of new tissue growth. This, along with its anti-microbial effect ensures faster healing of the mouth ulcer. Chew a few leaves of tulsi along with some water about three to four times every day. This will help in getting rid of ulcers faster and also have a preventive action against their recurrence. Applying a little coconut oil directly onto the mouth ulcer or chewing some coconut (fresh or dry) helps reduce pain and inflammation and hence, ulcers heal faster. Mix some sugar to crushed khus-khus seeds and consume this mixture for instant relief from ulcers. You could apply a little ghee directly to the ulcerated area, or drink a glass of buttermilk two or three times every day. Mouth ulcers left untreated generally go away in a week or so; with these home remedies, you can expect faster relief. However, if you notice an ulcer in the mouth that is persistently present although it does not cause you any pain, do not neglect it or try to treat it with home remedies beyond a few days. Make it a point to see a doctor soon because often, a painless mouth ulcer is one of the earliest signs of oral cancer.

Dear lybrateuser, -Since the liver is affected & becomes weak after a bout of jaundice you should preferably avoid fried food, tea, coffee, have more of vegetables(should be made non-spicy) & fruits(wash them thoroughly before consuming), natural fruit juice -you can have a small amount(a fistful) of peanuts which are roasted.
