Hi lybrate-user to reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

Hello meenakshi. You are in morbid obese category { bmi 39.4}. It is very difficult to loose weight by diet and exercise in this category. If you do not try it seriously. I will end up requiring bariatric surgery for the same. As such high bmi is really detrimental for health in another 10 years to come.

Eat few these things for reducing fat. Apples: They are super foods that you can take three to four times a day as a substitute to carb-rich foods. Almonds: Rich in Vitamin E and has high fiber content that will make you feel full and reduce your hunger. Green Leafy Vegetables: They are rich in fiber and very low in calories. They will help in preventing water retention. Avocado: They are rich in high fiber and have high monounsaturated fatty acids that help in reducing belly fat. Cucumber: Cucumber is a vegetable that has high water content and is very low in calories. Watermelon: It is a fruit that has 80% water content in it and very few calories. They help in easily attaining desired waistline. Beans: This vegetable helps in improving digestion, as well as strengthening muscles. It will help in toning the belly by reducing hunger and prevent you from overeating. There are few good exercise for reducing belly fat. I. E. Crunches, Reverse Crunches, Twist Crunches, Vertical Leg Crunch, Side Crunches, Bicycle Exercise, Rolling Plank Exercise, Lunge Twist, Side To Side Bending, Stomach Vacuum, Captain’s Chair, Walking, Jogging, Running, Cardio Exercises, Swimming. To reduce stomach fat one has to eat clean and exercise well. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oils like ghee, olive oil, cold pressed mustard oil, cold pressed til oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

My body tends to put weight easily. I keep dieting or exercise. But I cannot keep up.
Diet is actually nourishing the body. But when you say diet it means crashing your intake. When you crash your intake and also work out you are actually putting on more fats. So, understand. You are gaining weight because you are not eating right. When it comes to weight/ fat loss it's all about being sensible with food. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

Your weight is controlled by 4 major factors (1) refined sugar consumption (2) exercise and hydration (3) posture and sitting (4) how many times do you indulge yourself - alcohol, binge eating at parties, overeating etc. Step 01: refined sugar 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. Step 02: get exercise and proper hydration 1. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water. Step 03: improve posture and sitting habits if you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. Step 04: stop indulging and eat more of raw natural stuff 1. No more than 60 ml of hard liqour or 2 glasses of beer per day. 2. Try to eliminate the urge to overeat but if you do overeat try to limit the incidents to two times per week. 3. Eat 4 servings of fruits per day. 4. Each of your meal should contain 50% of raw vegetables. Once you incorporate the above points in your routine you will see a dramatic difference in your weight, physical shape and energy levels. You will find that there are a lot of companies out there that are trying to sell expensive products to naive consumers in the name of weight loss. These products may not necessarily be good for you. Losing and maintaining weight is something which is totally in your hands, it is easy and it is free of cost if you follow the above mentioned points.

Hii doctor I am a 20 years old girl with 75 kg weight I have being trying toh reduce it since last years bt unfortunately it increased I tried work out and diet also but it works only till I do these activities nd if I take one day leave every thing becomes like first. No use of it I am in tension. Hello you need to understand the concept of weight loss, it requires cut down in calories (under the guidance of dietician) along with exercises like brisk walking or cycling or yoga and stretching 5 days a week for at-least 25-30 mins. Include foods like green tea, lemon water, jeera water, salad vegetables like onion, tomato, cucumber, kakri, cabbage and fruits like melon, watermelon, plums. Avoid fried foods, carbonated drinks, sweets and processed foods. Drink plenty of water. Take small and regular meals like 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Take chamomile tea before going to bed. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Don't skip breakfast. Thank you.

My wife is fat, she often complains that her lower abdomen pains when there is more pressure on her stomach. She is gaining weight due to Hormone imbalance. Lunch ? Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, beet, cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes. In case you do not digest raw vegetables, either steam or boil them. Whole grain bread or whole wheat chapattis (Indian recipe) and a glass of buttermilk. Dear lybrate user, you must take rhus tox 200 thrice a day five drops in water for two days and call back in detail for further course of medicine. Do massage of legs with seasame oil at night daily. Take vitamin d. Also take one dose of four tablets of kali phos 12 x daily at night for five days.
