According to me the problem you said above clearly indicates poor oral hygiene but without examining practically hardly to say, I can suggest some oral habit maintenance: 1. Brush twice 2. Use regular mouth wash every night before sleep 3. Pls do use floss. And check the outcome in a month. And do visit your dentist for regular check up.

Soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices should be consumed in a limited quantity because they are acidic in nature. Acidic food or drinks often soften the tooth material which leads to the dissolution of minerals into the tooth enamel, resulting in cavities (holes).

Dear lybrate-user, As per your description, you may be having a condition called Recurrent Apthous Stomatitis. This this nothing but the recurrent formation of ulcers in the mouth, it is very normal and you don't have to worry about it. If no pain or burning sensation and no symptoms then it may also be just sebaceous glands (Sweat glands)/ Fordyces Granules (a type of sweat gland in mouth) Few investigations is required as Vit. B12 levels, Folic Acid, Folate, RBCs, Stress evaluation, Constipation or other stomach problem evaluation, etc. Lifestyle evaluation like smoking, diabetes, etc.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (full mouth x-ray) & clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

It can be either due to decay or sensitivity. Get your teeth x-rayed to determine the cause of pain. Decay can be removed n cavity can be filled with cement with or without rct depending on the proximity of decay to the nerve endings. For sensitivity, use desensitizing toothpaste like sensodyne twice daily.

Chronic gingivitis is common in children. It usually causes gum tissue to swell, turn red and bleed easily. Gingivitis is both preventable and treatable with a regular routine of brushing, flossing and professional dental care. However, left untreated, it can eventually advance to more serious forms of periodontal disease. Establish good dental hygiene habits early. When your child is 12 months old, you can begin using toothpaste when brushing his or her teeth. When the gaps between your child's teeth close, it's important to start flossing. Serve as a good role model by practicing good dental hygiene habits yourself. Schedule regular dental visits for family checkups, periodontal evaluations and cleanings. Check your child's mouth for the signs of periodontal disease, including bleeding gums, swollen and bright red gums, gums that are receding away from the teeth and bad breath.

Dear Lybrate user, your kid's teeth need immediate attention. The more you delay because of your fear, the more damage it'll cause. Your explanation seems to point towards baby bottle decay syndrome. Due to the habit of kids sleeping with sweetened milk bottles in their mouth for long hours and improper dental hygiene, there's extensive tooth decay. Your dentist has advised you right. Get the dental treatment done. Decayed, unpleasant looking milk teeth are bad for your kid's confidence as well. The decay is sure to affect developing permanent teeth also. I'd suggest you to not delay it any further.

There are many causes of yellow or discolored teeth. A few of the most common: 1.Drinks: Coffee and red wine cause major damage to teeth.. But other drinks with high acidity, such as soda, juices and even sports drinks can cause staining on the teeth. Even white wine is not far behind in staining our teeth yellow, because its tannins and acidic nature wear away at the tooth enamel. These Acidic drinks lowers the Ph of teeth below 6 thus causing corrosive wear and tear of teeths. 2.Certain Foods: Colored candies, popsicles and other bright foods can cause staining over time. Think of it this way – if your tongue turns a bright shade of blue, chances are your teeth are getting some of that discoloration, too. Even healthy foods such as berries (blueberries, cranberries, raspberries) can stain teeth. Ketchup, curry and other sauces can cause staining problems over time, too. 3,Natural Aging Process: Quite simply, teeth yellow over time. It’s a natural part of the aging process that the white protective coatings wear down over time. So the longer you have your teeth, the more likely they are to become yellow or discolored. Most of us are guilty of at least some of the above (and none of us can stop time). But the good news is that even if red wine is one of your vices and your teeth look yellower lately, there are things you can do to bring back the white. How to make Teeth white Avoid Certain Foods/Drinks When Possible: We’re not asking you to give up your morning coffee, just to reduce the intake of the above foods as much as possible. Sometimes simply being aware can help us make better choices. Drink Water: After you’ve consumed a tooth-staining food or drink try to immediately follow it with a glass of water. Swirling water around your mouth can drastically help clear away the acids or staining. This simple step is free and easy, and can drastically help reduce tooth discoloration. Proper Dental Hygiene: Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental checkups help keep teeth healthy for a lifetime. Develop these habits early and you’re less likely to have dental problems down the line. Teeth Whitening: The good news is that there are many options available to whiten teeth. Some can be done at home while others can take help of Homoeopathic medicines. Homoeopathic medicine HEKLA LAVA TOOTH POWDER ( WHEEZAL) Scrub teeth daily night RINSEOUT ( SBL) Gargles 20 drops in 20 ml luke warm water.Gargles 3 times daily while holding water for 20 seconds in mouth esp.after meals.
