Im diabetic and mostly skip medicines due to work and stress but I walk everyday at least for 15 mins does that work ...
For a diabetic person, it is very important to take medication on time. You also need to have food suggested by your doctor. Regular exercise helps in maintaining healthy sugar levels. If you are going for a walk for 15 mts every day, but if you are skipping your medicines, it wil not be helpful. You need to do both - take prescribed medicines and do suggested exercise every day. You will be harming yourself by not taking the medicines. And in future, you will have to take more medicines and the increased sugar levels will harm your body. So please follow your doctor's advice. Please understand that you will be able to work only if you are fit to work. So do not skip medicines because of work pressure or stress.

It is natural to feel low and miss the person you have lost. However if it is interfering with your sleep, studies or general well being, or if you feel suicidal, you need to consult a psychiatrist. It is common to feel low, cry, feel like you are alone, or lose your self confidence. Usually time is the best healer. However if things are too difficult to handle you should talk to a psychiatrist or counselor. Confide in someone close to you, who will support you in this difficult time. Don't cut off from friends or family, even if you feel like you want to be alone.

Dear lybrate-user. Welcome to lybrate. Addiction to nicotine gum is a common phenomena. Nothing to worry about that. Understand that nicotine gum is not that addictive or harmful as cigarette. Therefore, slowly reduce the quantity of nicotine gums and don't worry. Take care.

Smoking Reduces Penis Size and Causes Erectile Dysfunction

BHMS
Homeopath,
Smoking Reduces Penis Size and Causes Erectile Dysfunction
Smoking reduces penis size and causes erectile dysfunction

We all know that smoking can adverse effects on one's health. However, not many people out there are aware of the fact that smoking can also affect their penis.

To understand the bad effects of smoking on your penis, you first need to know a little bit about how your manhood works. The penis is made up three large chambers that hold blood. When a man starts to get an erection, blood rushes into these chambers and the size depends upon how much blood flows into these chambers.
Smoking has been known to reduce the quality of blood circulation by clogging arteries. The arteries that connect the chambers in the penis are especially narrow and can very easily be affected by continuous smoking. Overall, one can experience some kind of impact on one's sexual performance.
Reduced blood flow or poor quality blood flow is the most frequent cause of erectile dysfunction or ed and smoking increases the risk of ed. The risk of smoking is increased in middle aged men or men older than 30 years. The penis is the quickest and first part of the body to be affected by clogged arteries and the oncoming of ed must be taken as a strong warning of potentially far worse problems such as possible heart attacks.
Recent studies have highlighted the fact that smoking increases the risk of impotence in men, especially in their thirties and forties. Individuals who smoke regularly often suffer from low sperm counts.

Homoeopathy reverse the bad effects of smoking on your penis - homeopathic remedies help to increase enough blood supply to the penis and make the nerve strong. Identifying the main reason homeopathic remedy can easily regain the lost vigor. The average girth for an erect penis length from 4.5 to 7 inches are enough to perform a successful sexual intercourse. When the length of the erect organ is below 4.5 or 4 inches then we call it micro penis. Some reasons are responsible for this problem such hormone, masturbation habit from childhood, infection in the prostate gland, smoking etc. Homeopathic remedies are very helpful to increase the size or length of the male organ and make it strong. Homeopath can give good solution of that problem using proper homeopathic remedies consult me by clicking on consult option for homoeopathic treatment.

What should I do when I feel depressed at any time and how to be courage at that depressed time?

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
What should I do when I feel depressed at any time and how to be courage at that depressed time?
If you have depression then there are some major ramifications to take into account. I believe there may be some genetic predisposition or there has been some childhood issue that needs urgent attention. You must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least 30 minutes but not in the scotching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive everyday and learn to be contended with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

Cannabis (marijuana/hashish/ganja/charas/weed) consumption is associated with chronic amotivation syndrome and behavioral problems. It has been known to trigger psychotic episodes, as well as anxiety attacks. Consider getting an evaluation by a psychiatrist with experience in deaddiction to get to the root of the problem. Strict abstinence from any kind of substance of abuse is essential for proper recovery.

How can I increase my memory? I usually forget things after few days, I'm unable to make remember an iota of things.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Research-based strategies to boost your memory and keep it strong 7 Strategies for Remembering 1. Become interested in what you're learning. We're all better remembering what interests us. Few people, for example, have a difficult time remembering the names of people they find attractive. If you're not intrinsically interested in what you're learning or trying to remember, you must find a way to become so. 2. Find a way to leverage your visual memory. You'll be surprised by how much more this will enable you to remember. For example, imagine you're at a party and are introduced to five people in quick succession. How can you quickly memorize their names? Pick out a single defining visual characteristic of each person and connect it to a visual representation of their name, preferably through an action of some kind. Remember: Memory is predominantly visual. 3. Create a mental memory tree. If you're trying to memorize a large number of facts, find a way to relate them in your mind visually with a memory tree. Construct big branches first, then leaves. Branches and leaves should carry labels that are personally meaningful to you in some way, and the organization of the facts ("leaves") should be logical.. 4. Associate what you're trying to learn with what you already know. It seems the more mental connections we have to a piece of information, the more successful we'll be in remembering it. This is why using mnemonics. Write out the items to be memorized over and over and over. 5. When reading for retention, summarize each paragraph in the margin. This requires you to think about what you're reading, recycle it, and teach it to yourself again. Even take the concepts you're learning and reason forward with them; apply them to imagined novel situations, which creates more neural connections to reinforce the memory. 6. Do most of your studying in the afternoon. Though you may identify yourself as a "morning person" or "evening person" at least one Study. suggests your ability to memorize isn't influenced as much by what time of day you perceive yourself to be most alert but by the time of day you actually study—afternoon appearing to be the best. 7. Get adequate sleep to consolidate and retain memories. Not just at night after you've studied but the day, you study as well. Far better to do this than to stay up cramming all night for an exam.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand your emotions. But I fail to understand why you can't tell your parents. Tell your parents to ask that girl for you. Then you will know exactly what is in her mind. Don't confuse yourself when you have a clear cut idea in front of you. Take care.

About four years back I have lost my life partner since then I am in silent depression and do not want to live. Everything has been settled in my life so some time thinks to end my life, there is no aim, craze in my life after her passes away. What to do, where to go.

It is 4 years since you lost your partner but she is still very much there with you. But what you have made out of your life in these 4 years is not what your partner had ever wanted for you. In other words, by feeling sad depressed you are hurting your partner' s feelings. Please try to be the person she always wanted you to be. Best option is try to search for those people around you who never got what god has blessed you with money, family, etc. If you see people around you will immediately realise you are a blessed person who has lived life fully. So, now why not help someone to live life. Belie me, your life will become meaningful. It is like this, because I have two feet I never realise what it means to be without feet. Help others to be on their feet and you will soon become an indispensable part of others' life. That would be the best gift in the name of your partner.

Every time you recover from the episodes of seizures (" forget what you are doing), please note what kind of activities you were doing, time, your emotional state etc. This may help to figure out some ways for better management of your problem. Nadisuddi technique from pranayama, which is a technique of yoga, properly learned and regularly practiced can help you by calming down your nervous impulses in the brain and increasing oxygen levels.

Dear, thanks for sharing your problem. I will try to help you. Look, in your case it appears that your mind remains pre-occupied with some thoughts and as a result you often can not pay attention to desired events, tasks. These thoughts may be worries, apprehension or mind pleasing. Such a thing can happen with any body. If you remember that you forget, it means your memory is ok, your mind seems to be elsewhere for the time. You may be stressed/ depressed and may be thinking about past/present/future excessively. If so, you need a psychiatric consultation to rule out anxiety/ stress.

Hello everyone . I am a student. I am suffering from over thinking. I think all the time. When I study or read news paper for sometime reading goes well but after a while I lose in thinking and I don't know about it that I am thinking something. This has been happening with me for 2-3 years. When I walk or traveling by bus, due to thinking I forget to stop where I want. When I write notes in classes same spelling on same page I write wrong because of thinking. This year I appeared in upsc examination, my preparation is good for examination, just before examination night I didn't sleep because "if I will fail then what will happen" this thinking was in mind and the whole night I didn't sleep, this is not stopped here same things happened before my GATE examination. For avoiding this over thinking I tried meditation but I didn't continued it after 20 -21 days. I am very worried about it. I am not living in present. I think always about future like" what will happen " and past" why this happened or if it is not happened then what will be happened? I want to get rid from this hell.

Hello Lybrate user...What you are suffering from are excessive ruminations and worrying thoughts about future. This is a common problem for today's youngster population like you as the competition level has increased. This decreases a person's efficiency, concentration and outcome from work or studies as in your case. Yoga you have tried but you did not continue, which I suppose was because of not being interesting. I propose to you MINDFULNESS THERAPY as the management plan. It is a very effective way to get ourselves living in the present and increases our efficiency and concentration, while decreases stress also. It will help you to live each and every moment of your life being fully aware. The other thing which you can do is that while you are studying you try to gain a place with full silence, away from all gadgets and social sites. Also try to plan your studies before you start. The plan should be such that you keep less number of hours per day in the beginning and as the days pass through you increase the reading hours. Say for example 2 hours a day for initial 1 week, than 3 hours a day the next week and so on until you reach the optimal time. The ultimate concept is not to make studying a burden by starting with long study hours from beginning, rather keep your interest moving gradually by slowly increasing the duration of study and gaining pace. I hope best for you. Take care
