Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Pleas start with stretching first. One week stretch then start Stretching Strength exercise. Always start Exe only after Stretch. If body pain increases then first check Calcium, Vit D3, and B12 checked. Hope other parameters are ok.

Rarely rheumatoid arthritis may be monocyclic. In which case it does not come back especially when treated aggressively. Or viral arthritis/reactive arthritis may be labelled as rheumatoid arthritis in which case again it is cured and may not come back. However majority of the times, if properly diagnosed, its a long term affair. Treatment success and duration is best decided by a rheumatologist. Treatment starts from the acceptance of the fact that rheumatoid arthritis majority of times can be very well controlled similar to diabetes and hypertension. But cannot be cured completely. You are not alone. Research is on to find cure. Lets hope it bears fruit.

Unless the weight is reduced joint pain will not go away. She may have to look the option of bariatric surgery, which can help in reduction weight.

You get stiffness in your back is due to your muscle weakness. Also exercises are not same for everyone. Do back strengthening exercises. So avoid forward bending exercises. Also do yogasana specific for back pain. Chewing liquorice can help to reduce sore throat.

It requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hi lybrate-user. If your standing for long durations, then you have to see that your foot wear are appropriate. Try using flat foot wear, with cushion. Preferably mcr chappal.

My wife getting left side leg pain, it start from below the knee particular night, when she go to bed. She is 48 years and body weight 98 kgs, local doctor says this is initial stage of arthritis. Please check for check for sugar, thyroid. She appears to be overweight and steps are to be taken for reduction of weight by 20 kgs over a period of 2 to 3 yrs. Diet control, exercise is a must for reduction of weight. You have not stated what steps you have taken so for. Meanwhile try this. Walking and pranayam is a must. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

If used judiciously and cautiously it may be useful remedy, but as a routine one should not apply hot packs. Constant exposure to heat after many years is known to produce damage to tissue, skin ulcer and cancer (for example" kangri cancer").

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are actually multiple reasons for swelling to happen in lower limbs, it could be due to any injury, underlying deranged lft, kft etc, cardiac causes, hypothyroidism, inflammatiom or infection etc. My advice to you will be to get some blood tests done and send reports across to me: cbc, esr, crp, lft, kft, thyroid profile. Also kindly tell me whether there are any other symptoms like redness in skin, warm to touch etc? do you take medications for anything or have previously taken? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Uric acid level upto 6 is normal. You dont have to continue Feburic 40 now. If still you are having pain, consult Rheumatologist for advice and treatment

Avoid walking and strain till relief. Do physiotherapy treatment and strength exercises and stretching exercises. Posture correction must. Avoid toward bending tk soft pillow for back support.

Hello lybrate-user, back pain occur due to many reason: 1: muscle spasm 2: disc problem 3: stiff back 4: postural fault 5: traumatic history so it will be better if you send me your detail such as your symptoms either it is localised or radiate till your leg. Back strengthening exercise plays important role in releiving pain. Core muscle strengthening plays important role in releiving pain. So consult a physio and learn some strengthening exercise and start doing it guided by them.

. First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Yogaraj guggul 1 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Maharasnadi kadha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner.

Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.
