Dear, your problem seems to be related with indigestion and bad stomach, therefore consult your family doctor if your digestive system is working good than your dental surgeon will be able to help you and guide after examining you and treat you accordingly.

One of my female friend is suffering from mucocele. She's gone to a local doctor and he pressed the mucocele and asked her for wait for 3 to 4 days. And again she is having the same problem and this time more wide and she is feeling some pain as well. What should she do?

BDS
Dentist, Kolar
Pressing of mucocele is not its treatment. It keeps coming back again n again. It can't b treated with medicines. It is best treated with its excision. It is a small surgical procedure. Visit an oral n maxillofacial surgeon for the same.

I advice you go for deep scaling (professional tooth cleaning) first and then use mouthwash 2 times in a day for 15days. Also I advice you warm saline rinses 2-3 times in a day for 15 days.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use sensodent tooth paste for 2 to 3 weeks. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Hello, thank you for your query. I understand you have a condition called halitosis (bad mouth odour). Causes: 1. Foods: sulfur containing foods such as garlic, onions, some kinds of fish, coffee etc can leave bad odours in the mouth 2. Poor oral hygiene 3. Tobacco habits: smoking and/or chewing tobacco 4. Mouth dryness or lack of adequate saliva 5. Mouth infections 6. Health problems: gastric problems, acidity, cadidiasis, diabetes, acid reflux, lactose intolerance etc 7. Wearing braces or having removable appliances (increase food retention and if oral hygiene is poor, can lead to halitosis. 8. Pregnancy 9. Other causes. Please see a specialist to diagnose the cause and give you appropriate advice.

HAVING BLEEDING GUMS??????
Bleeding from gums is very common sign reported by many patients while brushing or flossing. Can u avoid an important sign your body is giving you. what to do now????
Bleeding gums can be caused by improper brushing, food accumulations, lack of vitamin-c, or pregnancy. First thing that you need to do is report to a dentist. They will schedule an appointment for teeth cleaning and may be some gum treatments if required.
Secondly have a rich fibrous intake and have lots of juicy fruits like Amla, Oranges, Pineapple etc.
Thirdly make sure you brush twice and your dentist might add a medicated mouthwash to your daily regime.
So no longer worry but do not ignore such an important sign.

The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.
