Tooth paste only keeps ones teeth clean n does not cure teeth pain. Teeth pain requires definitive treatment by dentist which may include filling or rct for decay prob n scalling for him related probs. Visit a dentist n get your teeth evaluated to treat your prob accordingly.

Sensodyne is of no use. You need to find out why sensitivity occurs, either too much cold drinks, smoking, acidic food, gastritis, or because of teeth grinding. You need to cure the cause first, sensodyne will only increase the problem.

Few advice to stop bleeding gums-- - visit to a dentist for professional cleaning once in a year - use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water to keep the area clean. - Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth.

10 tips to look after your teeth
Good oral hygiene and regular visits to the dentist will help you maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Here are some tips to help you look after your teeth.

Brush at least twice a day. The best time to brush teeth is after meals. Choose a toothbrush with a small head for better access to back teeth. Soft bristles are kinder on your gums.

Use fluoridated toothpaste. Fluoride helps to harden tooth enamel and reduces your risk of decay.

Brush thoroughly. Tooth brushing should take between two and three minutes.

Floss your teeth daily. Use a slow and gentle sawing motion.

Limit acidic drinks like soft drinks, cordials and fruit juices. Food acids soften tooth material and dissolve the minerals in tooth enamel, causing holes (cavities or caries). In severe cases, teeth may be ‘eaten’ right down to the gum.

Limit sugary foods. Bacteria in dental plaque change sugars into acids.

Protect your teeth from injury. Wear a mouthguard or full-face helmet when playing sports.

Try to save a knocked out tooth. If possible, hold the tooth back in place while you seek immediate dental advice. If this is not possible, wrap the tooth in plastic or place it in milk and seek dental advice immediately.

Avoid using your teeth for anything other than chewing food. If you use them to crack nuts, remove bottle tops or rip open packaging, you risk chipping or even breaking your teeth.

See your dentist for regular check-ups. You should also visit your dentist if you have a dental problem such as a toothache or bleeding gums.

How we will manage our teeth while they are so smelling and very colour ful and looking very bad.
First we should go and get your teeth out of infection as smell from mouth and yellowish brown stains on tooth is mainly because of improper brushing and infection.

Mouth wash are an adjunctive to our daily cleaning chores - brushing, flossing etc. Be sure to Always rinse after eating and follow the rule of brushing twice a day. The soft deposit mostly get cleaned by brushing, if the deposit is hard you may then need professional cleaning. If your deposit is only occuring on your bridge then there are chances that you have food lodgement in that area. If your bridge is not faulty then make sure that your cleansing routine is thorough. Always use a floss in Bwn your bridge and adjacent natural tooth. Super floss in the area under your bridge if you have spacing and food lodgement there. U may need guidance of your doc initially to learn how to floss and super floss. Do visit your doc once in 6 months for professional cleaning. If you are sure that your cleaning regimen is fine then consult your doc to check fr faulty bridge.

I am 35 year female, please suggest complete cure plan for candida east infection ?

BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
The treatment of oral candidiasis is maintaining good oral hygiene and floconazole application. Home remedies for thrush are aimed at decreasing risk factors for thrush as well as preventing overgrowth of candida yeast. Brush the teeth with a soft toothbrush. Rinse the mouth with a diluted 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. Rinse the mouth with warm saltwater. Avoid mouthwash as it can alter the normal flora of the mouth. Keep dentures clean and see a dentist if they do not fit correctly. Eat unsweetened yogurt while taking antibiotics. Lactobacillus acidophilus supplements may help maintain a healthy balance of candida. Home remedies that may reduce the discomfort of thrush include drinking cold liquids, or eating frozen or ice treats; eating soft, easy-to-swallow foods; drinking from a straw if the patches are painful. Gentian violet (1%) is a natural treatment that sometimes works as treatment for thrush. It is a dye that kills bacteria and fungi, and it is available without a prescription. Talk to a doctor before using gentian violet. Consult a doctor before using this or any supplement.

Oral submucous fibrosis is a precancerous condition. It means it provides a fertile ground for cancer. So if you have been diagnosed with OSMF better you get your white patch biopsy or scrape cytology done after proper consultation with your treating dentist. And stop any tobacco products.

Quit habits strictly. Seems like you have oral submucous fibrosis (osmf). Kindly consult an oral & maxillo facial surgeon in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need conservative or surgical management for mouth opening depending upon the stage of osmf. Advise full mouth opening, ballooning exercise & side to side movement of the jaw. Wrap 25 to 30 ice-cream sticks, make a bundle, put it between upper & lower front teeth for 15 minutes thrice a day increase 1 sticks each day.
