Hii I have tooth ache and I want to get consultation from a good dentist please give me a dentist name near mahipalpur new Delhi.

BDS
Dentist, Lucknow
Treatment dental pain teeth pain may be due to various reasons like infection, sensitivity or trauma. If your teeth is decayed it is better to get it filled or treated by a dentist. If you are opting for root canal treatment do not forget to get a crown on the effected tooth. If you want to go for only medicinal treatment so let me tell you only medicine are not going to be very effective untill you get this treated by a dentist.

I am thirtyseven years old man. My one molar is missing due to cavity now space is there should I get a new tooth implanted there or should I leave it like that.

BDS
Dentist, Vadodara
Get you teeth replaced as soon as possible. Otherwise the adjacent teeth will try to take the place n will loosen up in the later days. There are many options to replace it. Like bridging or implant.

Hi you said your son is having cavity and you are right it can be checked only by restoring the teeth by cement filling, try and make him understand the importance of treatment, these are milk tooth and will fall in due course of time please take him to visit a dental surgeon and have checkup and treatment done accordingly. Make him use colgate total paste for cleaning of teeth and regular use of listerin mouthwash twice a day after meals.

I have a sensitive problem in my teeth down side and upper side what should I do.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
A major cause of tooth sensitivity is root exposure. Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. Until then apply a desensitizing paste (sensodyne tooth paste) on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min until you brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight will be better.

The most probable reason can be indigestion. Hyperacidity. Constipation as hurry worry and curry are the precursors for oral ulcers. Therefore improve your diet, get oral prophylaxis done. Have dietary supplements like b complex and anti oxidants and apply boroglycerin twice a day.

Hi, I am 27 years old female. I want to get braces done before I get married. I am looking forward to get lingual braces done as I don't want them to be noticed by people. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of lingual braces. I have really unorganized teeth. I know it is very late to get braces but I fear the pain it would cause and have delayed a lot. Also, I want to know the price they would cost, duration, care etc.

BDS, MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Advanced course in maxillofacial sugery
Dentist, Lucknow
U may go ahead lingual braces r esthetically designed n r not painful mild discomfort yes that to more initially it takes about eighteen months to complete tt cost depends on case to case lingual braces r more costly. U may have to get four teeth removed to start with to generate space if u can send a few pics of ur inside mouth n any xray will b able to tell better

My teeth is yellow type and I am daily brush through cleaning but over yellow dag is not go to you have any suggestions given to me please.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello. When brushing twice a day and flossing doesn't help improve your yellow teeth, it's time to consider other options. Teeth become yellow due to stains – both deep and surface-level – as well as other causes that sometimes aren't under our control. Although coffee and cigarettes leave stains on your teeth over time, thin tooth enamel also makes teeth look yellow. Tooth enamel is the hard, white surface of your teeth, and underneath it is a pale brown substance called dentin. Thick enamel looks white, but thin enamel allows dentin tones to show through, making teeth look yellow from the outside. Enamel naturally wears thin as people age, but acids from foods and drinks such as sour candies, oranges and soda also thin the enamel by eroding its surface. Saliva neutralizes acid and washes it away, but people suffering from dry mouth miss out on this protective effect. Other causes of yellow teeth include antibiotic use or excessive fluoride intake in young children, which can cause yellow-stained adult teeth later. Treatments for certain conditions can also affect tooth color. For example, head and neck radiation and chemotherapy can cause teeth discoloration. In addition, certain infections in pregnant mothers can cause tooth discoloration in the infant by affecting enamel development. Certain medication, mouth rinses can also causes yellow staining. Preventing Yellow Teeth: Avoiding smoking, coffee and soda helps prevent yellow teeth, or you can get into the habit of drinking those darker beverages through a straw. Drink milk or plain water after eating or drinking something acidic to help reduce the acid's eroding effect. Brushing and flossing also help, and avoiding snacks between meals allows your saliva to dilute the acids in your mouth too. Using over-the-counter whitening agents will also helps. Discolorations are generally responsive to bleaching procedures.

Increase dietary intake of vitamin B, folic acid, iron and use of vitamin supplements etc under medical supervision if blood tests confirm low concentrations • institute topical antifungal therapy if fungal plaques noticed Mouth sores are common and rarely Cause complications. Most go away in about a week, but it’s important to monitor any mouth sores you develop. if the sore doesn’t seem to be healing, contact your dentist.

Some theories suggests that there is a relation of altered taste sensation associated with diabetes. Long standing diabetes can damage nerves which can cause such symptoms. Consult your dentist for. More help.

Is bleaching is good for tooth? Or there is alternate way to remove yellow stains from tooth?

BDS
Dentist, Gurgaon
when you talk about yellow stains they are actually the tartar/deposit on teeth.. they need to be cleaned and polished by dentist.. teeth bleaching is an advance process where in we change the shade of tooth.. to white...the natural yellow colour that you see is the layer below enamel that is white portion of tooth .. called dentin..bleaching causes little sensitivity for one or two days and later it goes away..but in many cases it never caused any sensitivity either..just use a good bleaching material..for teeth..

My baby is one month old. I am breastfeeding him. For past two days, I am suffering from toothache on left upper side. Since yesterday the tooth just below is also aching. It spreads to the chin as well as towards the ear. It cones and goes. Ppleae help. Thank you.

MDS, BDS
Dentist, Delhi
You will need to get a checkup done. It us quite likely that there is some infection that requires treatment. Since you are breastfeeding, such treatment needs to be carefully planned to avoid any adverse impact of the medicines you might need to have on your child. Do let us know if you need any further help.
