Pregnancy test should be done only after 7 days of missed period. If negative then keep repeating it every week till menses comes. You have to read it within 5 min of putting the urine and even faint second line is positive.

Dear user. I can understand. If you have irregular period or are not sure when you ovulated, you can do a URINE HOME PREGNANCY TEST 14 days after you last had unprotected sex. However for accuracy of result, it is recommended to do the test 21 days after intercourse. To TEST PREGNANCY AT HOME simply add urine to a small piece of soap, if froth forms, or if the soap bubbles up, the test is positive. Mix ¼ cup of tuna juice and ¼ cup of vinegar in a plastic cup. Now pee in a separate cup and then add your urine to this mixture. After a few minutes, if the color changes to green, then you are pregnant. Take care.

Coconut water is good for hydration in pregnancy. It has no effect on the baby's skin tone. You can continue it.

Lower lip on the left side has been twitching for 10 days now. It happens many times in a day and lasts for few seconds.
There is no serious cause of this problem. One can experience this lip twitching due to fatigue, stress, excessive caffeine intake, emotion, or lack of potassium in your diet. Try having a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and take proper rest. This will be normalized.

Not necessarily. This is true that there is higher risk of such problem in subsequent pregnancy. 1Folic acid supplementation in perinatal period prevent to a great extent such open neural defects with or without hydrocephalus. 2 alpha fetoprotein estimation by aminocentesis in first trimester preferably at 8 weeks of gestation help in diagnosis of similar problem. Best wishes Regards

Hi lybrate user, please get pelvic ultrasound done to check what is reason for it. Consult gynaecologist to rule out any birth defects. Sometimes due to hormonal variations their could be delayed periods. It can be as late as 16 yrs.
