Good health is indeed the key to success. If you were of the idea, that health is a biological factor that you are born with and that can be altered or rectified with the advice of a medical practitioner, you are extremely mistaken. To some extent, the quality of your health is in your hands. Physical health goes hand in hand with your psychological health. Like doctors say, a person might be facing some very serious disease, but being mentally strong can help him or her overcome difficulties. Your day-to-day attitude in life is also of great consequence; it decides your overall health when recorded for a year or more.

Effects of positive thoughts on a person's health:

  1. Worry less: Fretting is the worst way of coping in life. Each and every individual has issues gnawing at their existence. The best way to deal with problems is to face them with a calm and logical mind. Being anxious over a certain occurrence doesn't help you get anywhere in life. People who worry less have a longer and healthier life.
  2. Once you forgive, you naturally move on: Holding on to grudges is an utterly depressing way to carry on with the course of life. Unless you forgive, you are stuck at one single point. This holds you back from achieving to the best of your abilities. Forgiveness doesn't let the other person win; it only helps you live without emotional baggage.
  3. Learn to be resilient in times of stress: Thinking yourself as weak is an easy way to let hurdles take control of you. You should be of a strong disposition. Whatever the situation is, a person should take it in stride and consider it as a passing phase. Keep reminding yourself you will be back on your feet in no time at all. Being mentally weak can lead to nervous breakdowns.
  4. Creativity can help you sleep over remorse: Fear, anger, hatred or remorse are emotions that bog you down. Every human being should try and channelize their energies into something useful. Thinking creatively is beneficial for oneself.
  5. Never say 'impossible': Giving up on your dreams shows you in poor light. Treating a goal as impossible even before attempting to attain it can be very bad for your health. It can result in chronic nervousness.

There can be different possibilities which needs to be ruled out. It may be gastric in origin or simply muscular pain. Or it can also be due to cardiac or respiratory causes. Most of the times such pains subside without any medications. So approach a doctor if it does not subside on its own and let the doctor check you.

don't take inj. phenargan . Do tests cbc,blood sugar,lft,kft,urine r/m,mp,widal. take ors liquid, take tab. dolo-650 mg twcie a day.tab. emeset -4mg twice a day. ulgel-A 15 ml before meal. Start with easily digested foods such as gelatin, crackers and toast. When you can keep these down, try cereal, rice, fruit, and salty or high-protein, high-carbohydrate foods. Avoid fatty or spicy foods. Wait to eat solid foods until about six hours after the last time you vomited

DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …6) avoid coffee and tea…. A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2-2 tablets of lakshyadi guggul and vasantkusumakar rasa early in the morning on empty stomach with triphala juice…. C) take 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals…. D) apply equal quantity mixture of fresh lemon juice and aloe vera juice on the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda)…… do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective. Consult to me for further suggestion. THANKS.

Chicken Pox In Children - Causes And Symptoms

Chickenpox is a contagious viral disease that mostly affects children. It appears on the skin as rash-like itchy red spots that can develop into blisters. The main parts of the body that get affected are the face, scalp, chest, belly, back, arms and legs. It generally starts in one location and cyclically spreads to other parts over the course of 1-2 weeks time.

Chickenpox is uncommon now since children are routinely immunised against it these days. Yet outbreaks keep occurring from time to time, for the cases who haven't been vaccinated.

What is the cause of chickenpox?

  •  Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) and spreads through direct contamination.
  •  If the blister breaks open and the virus infects the surface of objects, it gets transferred when one touches the object and then touches any body part, thereby spreading through contact.
  •  It also spreads through aerial contamination when a person infected by it coughs or sneezes, which allows the virus to extend to various surfaces.
  •  When an unimmunised child with a weak immune system comes into contact with an adult suffering from a shingles (a type of a viral infection in adults caused by the same chicken pox virus) rash, the child is susceptible to contracting the chickenpox virus.

Now let's turn our attention to the symptoms of this disease in children.

The symptoms of chickenpox do not manifest themselves till 2-3 weeks after contamination. The exact time required for the signs to show varies from person to person and is known as the 'incubation period'.

Following are the symptoms of chickenpox in children:

  •  Exhaustion and lethargy
  •  Swollen glands.
  •  High fever accompanied by a headache and body ache
  •  Loss of appetite
  •  Signs of dehydration
  •  The eruption of red rashes and fluid-filled blisters on the skin, which may become painful
  •  Chest pain and breathing difficulty, although it is less common

The symptoms of chickenpox tend to be milder in children than in adults and hence, identifying the signs is harder and may take longer.

Mr. Lybrate-user, your glucose level is really good, it should remain at that level so that no complications develop related to diabetes. As regards taking honey with lemon juice, if the quantity small then no real difficulty at all. But large quantity is not advisable.

अक्सर हमेशा हंसने खेलने वाली चंचल लड़कियां भी महीने के कुछ दिन दबी दबी दुखी सी शर्माती खुदको छिपाती नजर आती हैं। और इसी वक़्त पर हम गौर करें तो पाएंगे कि घर परिवार के कुछ लोग भी उससे कटे कटे रहते हैं कई चीजों को छूने कई जगह जाने पर पर भी मनाही होती है। जी हां बिलकुल सही समझें आप हम बात कर रहे हैं पीरियड्स की। यह केवल महिलाओं ही नही पुरुषों या यूँ कहें मानव वृद्धि के लिए सबसे अहम घटना है। तो चलिए आज हम जानते हैं पीरियड्स क्या हक़ क्यों आता है इसका सही समय, महत्व आदि। 
पीरियड्स या मासिक धर्म स्त्रियों को हर महीने योनि से होने वाला लाल रंग के स्राव को कहते है। पीरियड्स के विषय में लड़कियों को पूरी जानकारी नहीं होने पर उन्हें बहुत दुविधा का सामना करना पड़ता है। पहली बार पीरियड्स होने पर जानकारी के अभाव में लड़कियां बहुत डर जाती है। उन्हें बहुत शर्म महसूस होती है और अपराध बोध से ग्रस्त हो जाती है। 

पीरियड्स को रजोधर्म भी कहते है। ये शारीरिक प्रक्रिया सभी क्रियाओं से अधिक महवपूर्ण है, क्योकि इसी प्रक्रिया से ही मनुष्य का ये संसार चलता है। मानव की उत्पत्ति इसके बिना नहीं हो सकती। प्रकृति ने स्त्रियों को गर्भाशय ओवरी फेलोपियन ट्यूब, और वजाइना देकर उसे सन्तान उत्पन्न करने का अहम क्षमता दिया है। इसलिए पीरियड्स या मासिक धर्म गर्व की बात होनी चाहिए ना कि शर्म की या हीनता की। सिर्फ इसे समझना और संभालना आना जरुरी है। इस प्रक्रिया से घबराने या कुछ गलत या गन्दा होने की हीन भावना महसूस करने की बिल्कुल आवश्यकता नहीं है। पीरियड्स मासिक धर्म को एक सामान्य शारीरिक गतिविधि ही समझना चाहिए जैसे उबासी आती है या छींक आती है। भूख, प्यास लगती है या सू-सू पोटी आती है।

मासिक चक्र

  • दो पीरियड्सके बीच का नियमित समय मासिक चक्र ( Menstruation Cycle ) कहलाता है। नियमित समय पर पीरियड्स( Menses ) होने का मतलब है कि शरीर के सभी प्रजनन अंग स्वस्थ है और अच्छा काम कर रहे है। मासिक चक्र की वजह से ऐसे हार्मोन बनते है जो शरीर को स्वस्थ रखते है। हर महीने ये हार्मोन शरीर को गर्भ धारण के लिए तैयार कर देते है।
  • मासिक चक्र के दिन की गिनती पीरियड्सशुरू होने के पहले दिन से अगली पीरियड्सशुरू होने के पहले दिन तक की जाती है। लड़कियों में मासिक चक्र 21 दिन से 45 दिन तक का हो सकता है। महिलाओं को मासिक चक्र 21 दिन से 35 दिन तक का हो सकता है। सामान्य तौर पर मासिक चक्र 28 दिन का होता है।

मासिक चक्र के समय शरीर में परिवर्तन 

1. हार्मोन्स में परिवर्तन
 मासिक चक्र के शुरू के दिनों में एस्ट्रोजन नामक हार्मोन बढ़ना शरू होता है। ये हार्मोन शरीर को स्वस्थ रखता है विशेषकर ये हड्डियों को मजबूत बनाता है। साथ ही इस हार्मोन के कारण गर्भाशय की अंदरूनी दीवार पर रक्त और टिशूज़ की एक मखमली परत बनती है ताकि वहाँ भ्रूण पोषण पाकर तेजी से विकसित हो सके। ये परत रक्त और टिशू से बनी होती है।
2. ओव्यूलेशन 
संतान उत्पन्न होने के क्रम में किसी एक ओवरी में से एक विकसित अंडा डिंब निकल कर फेलोपीयन ट्यूब में पहुँचता है। इसे ओव्यूलेशन कहते है। आमतौर पर ये मासिक चक्र के 14 वें दिन होता है । कुछ कारणों से थोड़ा आगे पीछे हो सकता है। 
ओव्यूलेशन के समय कुछ हार्मोन जैसे एस्ट्रोजन आदि अधिकतम स्तर पर पहुँच जाते है। इसकी वजह से जननांगों के आस पास ब्लड सर्कुलेशन बढ़ जाता है। योनि के स्राव में परिवर्तन हो जाता है। जिसके कारण महिलाओं की सेक्सुअल डिजायर बढ़ जाती हैं। इसलिए इस ड्यूरेशन में सेक्स करने पर प्रेग्नेंट होने के चन्वेस बढ़ जाते हैं।
3. अंडा 
फेलोपियन ट्यूब में अगर अंडा शुक्राणु द्वारा निषेचित हो जाता है तो भ्रूण का विकास क्रम शुरू हो जाता है। अदरवाइज 12 घंटे बाद अंडा खराब हो जाता है। अंडे के खराब होने पर एस्ट्रोजन हार्मोन का लेवल कम हो जाता है। गर्भाशय की ब्लड व टिशू की परत की जरुरत ख़त्म हो जाती है। और ऐसे में यही परत नष्ट होकर योनि मार्ग से बाहर निकल जाती है। इसे ही पीरियड्स, मेंस्ट्रुल साइकिल, महीना आना या रजोधर्म भी कहा जाता है। और इस दौर से गुजऱने वाली स्त्री को रजस्वला कहा जाता है।
4. ब्लीडिंग
पीरियड्स के समय अक्सर यह मन में यह मन में यह सवाल आता है की ब्लीडिंग कितने दिन तक होना चाहिए और कितनी मात्रा में होना चाहिए कि जिसे सामान्य मानें। पीरियड यानि MC के समय निकलने वाला स्राव सिर्फ रक्त नहीं होता है। इसमें नष्ट हो चुके टिशू भी होते है। अतः ये सोचकर की इतना सारा रक्त शरीर से निकल गया, फिक्र नहीं करनी चाहिए। इसमें ब्लड की क्वांटिटी करीब 50 ml ही होती है। नैचुरली पीरियड्स तीन से छः दिन तक होता है। तथा स्राव की मात्रा भी अलग अलग हो सकती है। यदि स्राव इससे ज्यादा दिन तक चले तो डॉक्टर से सम्पर्क करना चाहिए।

पीरियड्स से पहले के लक्षण
लड़कियों को शुरू में अनियमित पीरियड्स, ज्यादा या कम दिनों तक पीरियड, कम या ज्यादा मात्रा में स्राव, डिप्रेशन आदि हो सकते है। इसके अलावा पीएमएस यानि पीरियड्स होने से पहले के लक्षण नजर आने लगते है। अलग अलग स्त्रियों को पीएमएस के अलग लक्षण हो सकते है। इस समय पैर, पीठ और अँगुलियों में सूजन या दर्द हो सकता है। स्तनों में भारीपन, दर्द या गांठें महसूस हो सकती है। सिरदर्द, माइग्रेन, कम या ज्यादा भूख, मुँहासे, त्वचा पर दाग धब्बे, आदि हो सकते है। इस तरह के लक्षण पीरियड शुरू हो जाने के बाद अपने आप ठीक हो जाते है। इसलिए उन दिनों में अपने आपको सहारा डैम और मजबूत बनें।

पीरियड्स आने की उम्र 
आमतौर पर लड़कियों में पीरियड्स 11 से 14 साल की उम्र में शुरू हो जाती है। लेकिन अगर थोड़ा देर या जल्दी आजाए तो चिंता न करें। पीरियड्सशुरू होने का मतलब होता है की लड़की माँ बन सकती है। शुरुआत में पीरियड्सऔर ओव्यूलेशन
के समय में अंतर हो सकता है। यानि हो सकता है की पीरियड्सशुरू नहीं हो लेकिन ओव्यूलेशन शुरू हो चुका हो। ऐसे में गर्भ धारण हो सकता है। और इसका उल्टा भी संभव है। यह बहुत महत्त्वपूर्ण है कि पीरियड्स शुरू नहीं होने पर भी प्रेगनेंट होना संभव है इसलिए सावधानी बरतें।

पहले ही किशोरियों को समझाएं 
लड़कियों में शारीरिक परिवर्तन दिखने पर या लगभग 10 -11 साल की उम्र में मासिक धर्म के बारे में जानकारी देकर इसे कैसे मैनेज करना है समझा देना चाहिए। जिससे वे शरीर में होने वाली इस सामान्य प्रक्रिया के लिए मानसिक रूप से भी तैयार हो जाएँ। साथ ही आप लोगों को भी यह समझने की जरूरत है कि पीरियड्स मवं में अपवित्रता जैसा कुछ नहीं है। ये एक सामान्य शारीरिक क्रिया है जो एक जिम्मेदारी का अहसास कराती है। इसकी वजह से लड़कियों पर आने जाने या खेलने कूदने पर पाबन्दी नहीं लगानी चाहिए। पर ध्यान रहे बच्चियों को गर्भ धारण करने की सम्भावना के बारे में जरूर समझाना चाहिए जिससे वे सतर्क रहें। 

पीरियड्स आने पर 
सभी महिलाएं पीरियड्स की डेट जरूर याद रखें जिससे आप पहले ही तैयार रहें। 
इस दौरान खुदको किसी चीज़ से न रोकें नहीं। सामान्य जीवन शैली ही जिएं। बस अगर मौका मिले तो थोड़ा आराम करें।

To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

For prevention from whitening of hairs follow these instructions: • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself. • You can apply amla powder, Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it. • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo. • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily, and a glass of milk also. You can eat cheese or soya protein. • Eat healthy fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. You can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and prevent hair from greying. • Avoid the use of products such as hair colours or excessive shampoo. •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo. • Practice SARVANGASAN and BHRAMARI PRANAYAM daily for atleast 3-4 months.

Hi, to reduce your belly fat you need control your diet, start exercise and take green tea twice daily. Have fruit in your diet, eat dinner at 6 pm follow this advice and can find difference in 3 months.

This type of hydrotherapy, which includes both cold and warm water, is highly effective for reducing swelling in your feet. While the warm water helps improve circulation, cold water helps reduce swelling and inflammation. Fill 2 foot tubs– one with cold water and the other with warm water. Soak your feet in the warm water for about 3 to 4 minutes. Immediately put your feet in the cold water for about 1 minute. Continue alternating for 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat a few times daily until you get relief. Also do massage with any oil.

Diabetes is highly common health issue in India. Your blood sugar levels increase beyond the normal levels and cause other related problems like swelling, frequent urination, nausea, heart ailments etc. Conventional drugs can only control the symptoms, but cannot help the person to completely get rid of diabetes. However, here are some suggestions from Ayurveda that can help you in treating your diabetes in a way that it will never return.

  1. Food habits: Try avoiding foods that are high on sugar and whatever you eat, do not eat it all at once. Eat in small portions spread over the day. Limit carbohydrate and fat intake in your diet; instead try to consume whole grain foods and vegetables.
  2. Lifestyle changes: Avoid alcohol, drugs and smoking. Sleep soundly and sufficiently. Maintain your body weight and take care of your health by getting routine checkups done for sugar and other possible ailments that may be underlying causes of your diabetes.

For fever take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and Eat nutritious food and have adequate fluid intake and take physical rest and if necessary Get your blood checked for cbc, mp , widal , sgpt and urine r/m and revert back to us with reports
