Iam 22 years old unmarried girl. I have been suffering form irregular and absent periods from jan 2015 I have visited gynecologist many time till aug they were giving me livogen tablet to use late in september they took hormones test in that leutinizing hormone level was 14.92 & they were saying it is high and they told its polycystic. I have got bloated stomach from april 2015 and also have pains in stomach sometimes. My gynecologist has suggested me vofol myo and padmini tablet for polycystic. I have been using it form past ten days but from past 1 week my palms became hard and have a burning sensation in my palms. My tongue and lips also are burning I couldn't even eat little bit of spicy food and i am feeling very giddy and am not able to sleep too. I have seen somewhere in the net that bloated stomach and absent periods can be sort of some type of cancer and also burning sensation and rough hands are also early symptoms of any type of cancer. I am really really worried alot plz can you tell me are there any chances of cancer and also tell me why am I feeling giddy and burning sensation in my hands is it due to intake of many medicines or else cancer please do reply I am really worried thanks in advance.

Dieting to lose weight during pregnancy is not recommended, because you may not receive enough nourishment for you and your baby, and it may increase your risk for premature delivery. Meal plan during pregnancy: carbohydrate inadequate carbohydrate intake can result in low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) for women taking insulin and in ketone production for women who have gestational diabetes. Excessive carbohydrate intake can result in elevated blood sugar levels. Make sure your meal plan contains: complex carbohydrate, especially foods high in fiber, such as oatmeal, brown rice, bran cereal, whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, and beans. Fresh fruits. Milk. Fresh or frozen vegetables. Limit these carbohydrate foods in your diet: refined sugar and foods with a high content of refined sugars (sweets) refined starches, such as highly processed breakfast cereals, instant potatoes, instant rice, or instant noodles fruit juice protein if your kidney function is impaired, your protein allowance may be lowered. Fat monounsaturated fats and omega-3 fats, rather than saturated fats, should continue to be the primary source of fat in your diet. Fiber get enough fiber each day. Fiber can help stabilize your blood sugar levels and relieve constipation, which is common during pregnancy. Most people get far more sodium than they need. Talk to your doctor about how much sodium you should eat. Vitamins and minerals take a prenatal vitamin with folic acid and iron to meet your body's increased need for these micronutrients. Folic acid is needed for the production of blood cells. And iron is needed for red blood cells to deliver oxygen throughout the body. Folic acid has also been proved to reduce the risk of fetal neural tube defects. You may need to take a vitamin b12 supplement, which is important for the production of red blood cells, and a vitamin d supplement if you are a strict vegetarian (vegan). Vitamin b12 can only be obtained from animal sources in the diet. Other vitamins and minerals, such as the b vitamins and calcium, are important during pregnancy for producing energy and preserving your body's calcium stores. Very large doses (megadoses) of vitamins, especially vitamins a and d, are not recommended during pregnancy. Vitamins and minerals should only be taken under your doctor's supervision. Artificial sweeteners saccharin (sweet'n low, sugar twin), aspartame (equal, nutrasweet), acesulfame k (sunett), sucralose (splenda), and neotame are safe to eat when you are pregnant. Avoid using aspartame (equal or nutrasweet) if you have phenylketonuria (pku). Caffeine avoid caffeine. Alcohol do not drink alcohol. No amount of alcohol has been proved to be safe for a developing baby (fetus).

What is the diet to be followed by a pregnant woman in the first three months of pregnancy.

What is the diet to be followed by a pregnant woman in the first three months of pregnancy.
Hello. If you don’t have any medical condition and if your diet is poor to begin with, it is even more important to make sure you have a healthy diet now. You need more vitamins and minerals, especially folic acid and iron. You need a few more calories during your pregnancy as well. Getting your diet right for pregnancy is more about what you eat than about how much. Limit junk food, as it has lots of calories with few or no nutrients. Eat a variety of foods from these different food groups each day: Milk and dairy products: skimmed milk, yogurt/curd, buttermilk (chhaach), cottage cheese (paneer). They contain calcium. Cereals, whole grains, dals, pulses and nuts: these are good sources of protein if you do not eat meat. Vegetarians need about 45 grams of nuts and 2/3 of a cup of legumes for protein each day. Vegetables and fruits: these provide vitamins, minerals and fibre. Avoid Papaya. Meat, fish and poultry: these provide concentrated proteins. Fluids: Drink lots of fluids, especially water and fresh fruit juices. Make sure you drink clean boiled or filtered water. Carry your own water when out of the house, or buy bottled water from a reputed brand. Avoid packaged juices as they have a very high sugar content. Fats and oils: Ghee, butter, coconut milk and oil are high in saturated fats, which are not very healthy. Hydrogenated vanaspati oil and ghee is high in trans fats, which are as bad for you as saturated fats. A better source of fat is vegetable oils because these contain more unsaturated fat. **********Consult nutritionist also****

If you are obese and having irregular periods I would advise you to get a USG and hormonal assay done. Irregular periods does not per se cause a health problem but there is a risk of unwanted pregnancy and it generates a lot of anxiety. Also if you have less than 4 periods a year there is a risk of endometrial thickening. I would also advice you to consult a dietician to get a realistic diet plan.
