Bunion-causes

Wearing narrow shoes can cause bunions. A bunion is a bony growth on the inside of the first toe joint. It is seen in both men and women but more common in women ostensibly due to the habit of wearing narrow, and pointed and high heeled shoes and footwear.

Refreshing cups of tea, coffee?

Refreshing Cups of Tea, Coffee?

It is a medically known fact that tea, coffee, and colas contain a chemical caffeine which is responsible for giving you the feeling of mental and physical alertness. Caffeine is also present to some extent in chocolate.

If you take these beverages only very occasionally,a single cup of coffee can increase your blood pressure by up to 10mm Hg. However if you take it every day, your body gets used to its effects and there may not be any effect on your blood pressure, even in the long run. Women who suffer from low blood pressure will actually benefit from an occasional cuppa.

People who have an established history of heart disease need to be cautious if they take more than 2 cups of coffee and equivalent per day. In the long run, caffeine may increase anxiety and depression.

On the other hand, long-term caffeine intake of more than 2 cups a day may reduce age-related memory loss, Parkinson's disease, liver cirrhosis and onset of diabetes.
If you want to make your cuppa super efficient and boost your metabolism further, just sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon powder on top.It may just help you loose weight faster...

*For your information, many skin creams (mostly fairness cream brands) are considered harmful and banned by Central Govt, Health ministry during March, 2016. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) supported the ban. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

TIPS TO REDUCE SKIN TANNING DUE TO SUN

BHMS, Dietitian/ Nutritionist
Homeopath, Pune
TIPS TO REDUCE SKIN TANNING DUE TO SUN
1. Use lemon or orange peels. Crush them and make a powder in a mixer. Mix this with rosewater and turmeric and malai. Apply this paste over the face for about 20 mins alternate days. After sun exposure. It will remove the tan and give a fairer skin.

2. Sandalwood or chandan powder can also be used with lemon juice and curds as a tan remover.

3. Malai mixed with besan and lemon juice can also be used for removal of tanning especially on face and neck. Apply it as a mask for 20-30 mins and wash with luke warm water. Will help in tan removal.

Dear sir, Me and my girlfriend had unsafe sex almost 10 days prior this date. She took i-pill just after the day we had last sex but she haven't got her periods yet Though her date normally starts in middle of the month. How can we know whether she is pregnant or not or is their anything we could do o eliminate the chance of pregnancy after almost two week of sex.

If she has missed her scheduled period this month after you had sex, then chances of pregnancy should be ruled out. Ask her to do a urine pregnancy test at home. If it's negative you need not worry and just wait fir another week or so for the periods to begin. If the test is positive, without any delay, consult a gynaecologist, get examined and investigated to confirm the exact duration of pregnancy, in order to decide the most safe and effective method of termination, if desired by you both.

Respected doctors, I am 27 weeks+6 days pregnant with twins. I was feeling a lot baby movements till last week. But in this week there is decrease in movements very much. Is it because babies are growing so there is less space to move or any thing serious to concern? please guide.

Hi Yes, there is a possibility that lack of space is making the intensity of the movement less. As long as you are feeling some movement, that's good. If there is no movement at all, try to have something to drink, lie down on your left, in a quiet room with no distractions and observe movement for 1 hour. If there are at least 6 movements from both babies, that's good. Else, do meet with your obstetrician to check.
