Hello I a suffering some allergy on front part of penis. Please tell me some solution of this.

MBBS, DNB (Dermatology)
Dermatologist, Mumbai
You could be having Fungal infection which tends to affect folds of the skin, moist areas like groins, armpits, genitals, etc. Our skin protects us from fungal/yeast attack, but any cut or break in the continuity of the skin can allow penetration of fungus. It gives rise to rash, eruptions, redness, burning, intolerable itching and abnormal discharges at times. Fungal infection tends to last for many years if not treated well. It is also contagious. Please consult on private chat for prescription treatment.

Tips for Abdominal Ball Exercises

BPTh/BPT, MPTh/MPT
Physiotherapist, Noida
Tips for Abdominal Ball Exercises

Abdominal ball exercises:
Here are a few tips to consider before starting abdominal exercises:

Tighten your stomach muscles by drawing in your belly button to your spine this helps stabilize your hips, pelvis and lower back as well as strengthening your deepest abdominal muscle (transverse abdominus).

Avoid lifting with your neck muscles make sure to keep your chin tucked in a neutral position with a space between your chin and chest.

Avoid flexion exercises if you have been diagnosed with osteoporosis. A standard abdominal crunch is an example of a flexion exercise that can be harmful on your lower back if you have osteoporosis. Please contact your doctor first before starting any abdominal exercise program.

If you can't do an exercise with proper form, wait until you are stronger and start with easier exercises. You can easily injure your lower back or neck if you try to perform exercises that are too advanced. Start with the exercises you can do with good form.

Discontinue any exercise that increases your pain. If any abdominal exercise increases pain in your lower back, abdomen, pelvis or hips, discontinue the exercise and consult your doctor or medical professional.
Remember to exercise your abdominal muscles like you would any other muscle about three to four times per week. There is no need to do 100 sit-ups everyday! choose about five of the exercises below or rotate them into your routine.

PCOD: The Rising Issue

Are you facing troubles, such as unwanted facial hair, excessive weight gain, irregular periods, and acne on face or sudden hair loss? If you are experiencing any two symptoms, you might be suffering from Poly Cystic Ovarian Disorder / Syndrome. Affecting at least 1 in 10 Indian women it is the most common issue facing us today. It is also a leading cause of infertility. Many women ignore the signs and symptoms and fail to consult specialists. PCOS can manifest in many ways- it can have a single symptom or it can be associated with many aspects.

The common signs and symptoms are:

  • Irregular or absent menstrual periods.
  • Heavy vaginal bleeding: As the cycle gets delayed in PCOS, the uterus lining becomes thicker (a condition known as hyperplasia). When a woman starts her periods after a long time, she can experience heavy and prolonged bleeding.
  • Oily skin and acne on face and back.
  • Darkening and thickening of certain areas of the skin, especially in skin folds of the neck, armpits, and groin.
  • Excessive hair growth on the face, chest, abdomen, or thighs.
  • Thinning of hair on the crown of the head.
  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Cardiovascular problems, including high cholesterol
  • Multiple tiny ovarian cysts; some women with PCOS have a large number of tiny follicle cysts (visible by ultrasound) on their ovaries.

The cause of PCOS is not fully understood, but genetics may be a factor. It seems to run in families, so your chance of having it is higher if other women in your family have it or have irregular periods or diabetes.
If you are experiencing any of the given symptoms, it is advisable that you consult a Gynecologist or an Endocrinologist.

PCOS on the rise in adolescents:
Adolescent PCOS is on the rise these days due to change in lifestyle, academic load and lack of physical exercise. In many girls the symptoms commence with irregular periods and weight gain, followed by hair loss and acne. It is imperative that PCOS be diagnosed early so that its secondary issues - insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and heart disease can be controlled medically.

How PCOS is diagnosed:
It can easily be diagnosed through a physical examination, simple inexpensive blood tests and most importantly an ultrasound. You should consult a Gynecologist or an Endocrinologist.

How can PCOS be prevented or controlled:
PCOS cannot be prevented but weight control is the key to prevention of metabolic syndrome at a young age. Early diagnosis and treatment can help manage the symptoms and prevent long-term problems.
Even post diagnoses exercise, diet control and adherence to medication are essential. One should also document their menstruation cycles dates for clinical aspects.
In some older women who wish to conceive surgical treatment known as laparoscopic drilling of the cysts can be done.

you need rich iron, calcium, protein, follic acid, vitamin, minerals diet during fourth month of pregnancy. essential fatty acid diet contains sufficient amounts of Omega 3, 6, 9 fatty acids by taking foods like fresh water fish, tinned tuna, nuts and olive oil ,high fiber foods like whole grains, oats and green vegetables. Opt for iron fortified whole wheat bread instead of regular white bread.have 2 glasses of milk or 500 gm of curd or 200 gm of paneer. These act as good supplements to your calcium medication.take dry fruits.

No, it is called blighted ovum syndrome, nature prepares a nest in the uterus but egg does not grow in it, reason hcg is just normal, in urine test becomes positive after blood levels of hcg exceed certain levels which has not happened in your case, hcg is in thousands at 2 months and keeps increasing as fetus grows, you should go for a d&c before infection sets in uterus. Your belly is coming out due to gastric reasons, not due to pregnancy.

Dear user. The perfect thing is to use condoms if you want to enjoy sex every day. The withdrawal method is OK provided you get the timing correct. First 7 days from the date of your wife's period are not fertile and therefore even though you eject inside her vagina, she will not be pregnant. Take care.
