Drinking a cup of tea everyday helps in keeping the gums and teeth healthy as it contains high amounts of fluoride and flavonoids which prevent harmful bacteria from sticking to the teeth.

Cavity can be treated only by two methods, ie. Either by filling or by rct, depends upon the pulp condition.
Get it done immediately.

I have teeth pain for over nearly 20 days. I use dolonex rapid 20mg but no result. What should I do?
Overuse of painkiller is not useful. It also leads to some side effects. You must check with your doctor for reason of tooth pain. Without removal of cause you will not get complete relief. Get your x-ray done of referred tooth and it might include rct or some wisdom tooth related problem. You should see a doctor first.

Dear User,
If you have quit smoking and not using any other form of tobacco then I could say that withdrawal of nicotine may include anxiety, tremors, restlessness, craving for tobacco/smoking, constipation, cough, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, impulsivity, fatigue, flu symptoms, mood swings, mouth ulcers, and increased dreaming. Cessation of nicotine usually increases eating and weight, decreases memory, decreases the ability to pay attention and concentrate on tasks, and decreased heart rate.
Now among this symptoms, the thing which needs attention is mouth ulcer. You need to get it examined if it is an ulcer or not, and if ulcer is not healing then you may need further investigation. Apart from that none symptom might be due to nicotine. In that case your health professional needs to find other cause.
So My suggestion is that you should see ENT surgeon first. And follow his/her advice.

Kindly get scaling done and use gum paint twice daily for 15 days. Kindly get an x-ray done of the tooth having pain. May be you will have to get root canal treatment done followed by a crown or cap. Till then you can take a pain killer like tab ketorol dt 2 tablets dissolved in water. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique to maintain your oral hygiene.

With the line of treatment you are following it may take 1-2 weeks for complete healing
However for a faster relief a laser treatment can be taken to seal off the ulcers immediately.

Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months. Changing the toothbrush alone donot keeps your teeth clean. All toothpaste have nearly similar ingredients like Abrasives, Fluorides, Surfactants, Antibacterial agents, Flavourants, Remineralizers, Fluoride, Diethylene glycol, Triclosan etc. Only the wrong brushing technique that we follow harms our teeth and gums. So consult your dentist, learn proper brushing technique, Brush your teeth twice a day, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush to protect your teeth and gums from plaque and calculus. Floss your teeth inter dentally once a day. Consume a healthy diet rich in vegetables and lean protein. Reduce your intake of sugary foods and beverages. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Drink plenty of fluoridated tap water. Drink not consume alcohol drinks. Don’t smoke.
