Few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari, naan, white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati, bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.

Mr. lybrate-user, If a person has confirmed diabetes (T2), then it is essential to take appropriate drug treatment, either oral or Insulin depending upon severity of the condition. Secondly along with drugs regular exercise for 1 hour a day (brisk walking) is a must. Maintenance of near normal weight is also necessary. Plus patient has to take a restricted diet that provides exact calories based on ideal body weight, extent of exercise and glucose levels. Any exercise is fine. Thanks.

Your penis is not growing. And whole skin is at tip of penis. I advise you to do kegel and jalqing exercises daily. Follow this and give feedback.

I am 50 years old lady with weight around 79 kg. Having irregular periods with heavy flow and severe stomach pain for past 4-5 years. 2015 and past ultrasound revealed a normal size uterus having one small fibroid. Undergone dnc and biopsy (which was negative) in 2013. Doctor advised to take trapic mf 3 times a day. Another private doctor advised me to undergo hysterectomy while government doctor advised me to go through this phase considering my age it may be sign of menopause. 1. Should I take medicine or go for operation? 2. If operation, will it be laparoscopy or major operation? I had 2 caesarean operations in 1987 and 1991. I was told that due to caesarean operations it may be not be possible to do laparoscopy as some organs may be joined with uterus over the years due to the internal stitches. Any clinical test that can reveal the above fact. 3. For how many days trapic mf can be taken. My last periods lasted for 20 to 25 days and therefore had to take it for all these days. Any side effect of taking trapic mf for long? 4. Also taking homeopathic medicine for the past 4-5 years was helping me to some extent. Recently medicine was changed which finally stopped the bleeding after 20 to 25 days but the side effect is that I am feeling very sleepy and lethargy.

if pain is occurring for long time it is better to do surgery. One can try with laparoscopy and if impossible to separate bladder from uterus one can proceed with open surgery. trapic mf should not be taken for so long. homeopathic medicine is of doubtful role in relieving these kind of conditions.

Bleeding from gums is due to infection. Go for scaling and polishing. Use mouthwash twice daily after brushing. Maintain proper oral hygiene habits.

Hi , pregnancy can be detected by urine examination but the test for pregnancy is separate & is not included in urine complete examination, which is done for fever. If anyone wants to know pregnancy, he must ask technician/doctor, specifically for" pregnancy test, otherwise it will not be done (as sample is given to find out the cause of fever)

Sir my male baby 9 months old today having cold & cough. But one of my village Dr. Advice for ce merit cl-dry syrup & cetramac syrup, but I am not sure that the medicine's are for paediatric use. So kindly suggest shall I give the syrup to my baby? pls. Help out me.

If cold and cough is not severe, no need for any medicine. If it disturbs sleep give him syp zedex p 2.5'ml 3 times a day.

Am 24 years old . Am suffering from shoulder pain and back pain. With in span of year I got hospitalized 3 times of because gas leakage accident in home, abortion and appendicitis. So at that time of operation they given anesthesia to back bone. because of that am facing this problems or not do not know. But after that only pain getting increase. I can not drive bike for 1 hr. I can not do my home works for continuous 1 hr. If I take a gap of 10 or 15 minutes in middle its ok. please suggest me any thing to overcome this.

there is in ayurveda mention pinda swed ..it is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner .. 1.boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2.apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night .. by doing above thing you will get good result

For fair skin: • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water twice a week. • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week.. • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it once a week. • Eat More fruits daily. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion.

There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice,  half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Hi I suggest you to have a de-stressing life with early morning awakening, doing yoga/meditation, daily jog/exercise, listen soothing music at evening, some time for rest, recreation and socialization and adequate sleep. You may join a gym for building muscles and gaining confidence. Take plenty of salads, fruits and sprouts. Avoid fatty and spicy foods. To avoid acidity avoid alcohol/nicotine/excess of tea/coffee. For improving brain power solve puzzles and reasoning. Repetition of lesson and recalling in mind and referring immediately to source/book in case of any doubt is a good way to enhance memory.

Hi Lybrate user, If you are trying to gain weight, make sure that you are doing it in a healthy way. To gain weight you must consume simple foods for weight gain, which has enormous amount of calories & protein. Consuming lot of calories doesn’t mean that you have to over eat or over stuff yourself. You must always choose healthy sources of calorie dense foods. You must eat natural and simple foods for weight gain. Eat foods with high amount of calories than your required metabolism. Never skip your meals and make sure you are including all varieties of foods like fruits, vegetables, cereals and foods with high protein in your diet. Dairy products like milk, yoghurt and cheese are rich in protein and calcium. If you are vegetarian then include Egg & meat Egg is a protein rich food with high amount of calories. Ldl >180 suggests high risk for coronary artery disease. Hdl is good cholesterol and <40 also suggests cad risk. I think you should consult any physician for starting statins therapy. Recheck lipid profile after 3 months. Good diet and regular physical exercise will also help in hdl improvement.
