Good question. After the age of 50 all the females should undergo regular chekup of their breast by a surgeon. In adition they wil advice you memography which is somthing like x ray to rulout tumor (cancer). I think every six month you should do it. Do anyone from your family has cancer of breast than you may have more chances of that. If you do not have any kids than also chances of breast cancer increases. In adition if you have not given breastfeeding to your kids than also chances of cancer breast are more.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Hello . At your age this pain seems to be off fibromyelgia. Are you taking any medicines for this pain? do thumb massage over the trigger points (painful points ). Apply ice. Take painkillers for suppose 7 days. Ask for detailed prescription of medicines.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Do share investigation reports if you have any.

Apply ice pack for 10-15 min each, this will subside swelling & relieve pain To subside swelling you may also do retrograde massage Keep legs on high pillow while lying on bed this will prevent swelling to recur & proper blood circulation will be there.

I played cricket after a long time and now I am having severe pain in my hip bone its paining when am going to stand while sitting and vice versa. Although the pain in much less now as I took a good sleep. What to do about the pain?

Sudden severe exercises can start symptoms like these. Take rest for few days. Restart gradually build & up stamina. It could be OA/Obesity DO hot fomentation. Any way take Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS You will need other supportive medicines also. Contact me again if needed. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear sir this is the case of stress fracture of tibia bone not easily seen in x-ray. Avoid running on hard track. Use good quality sports shoes. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables. Never run barefooted. Use milk &milk products regularly.

I am 38 year old male, have a travelling job, average weight (80Kg Height 174 cm (5" 8. I am having pain in my right Knee. I have got an X-Ray done; no issues with Bones. There is a kind of throbbing pain on right side of right knee when kept in folded position; also have slight pain on inner side left of the right knee. I am walking and working without much discomfort but while sitting and lying down pain is felt. I have applied Crepe Bandage in night with a pain balm.

Hello. I have gone through your question about knee pain. I understand your concern. I feel that these symptoms are because of your weight. You will have to reduce your weight. Atleast 15 kg over 2 years period. You need diet modification. Stop oily food. Don't eat rice at night. Very low calories diet at night atleast 2 hours prior to sleeping. Take vitamin B12 medicines. Calcium and Vitamin D medicines. You will feel better.

Contrast bath- Fill two buckets/ tubs with Very Hot Water and Very Cold water. Immerse your legs into the water for 3 minutes and then switch to cold water for 1minute. Repeat this 3 times once a day. Stretch Calves Get a custom made insole. Hams Stretching. Sports Taping.

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Shoulder pain is common in cricket due to the repeated action of throwing the ball. In most cases shoulder pain is caused by rotator cuff tendonitis, which occurs when the tendons surrounding the rotator cuff become swollen. This injury is usually due to overuse. The rotator cuff is a group of four muscles which serves to protect the shoulder joint. Treatment will usually involve resting the affected shoulder and taking medication to reduce swelling and minimise pain. In cases where symptoms are persistent, surgery may be carried out to prevent injury in the future. The shoulder should be rested until it has started to heal; gentle exercises and physiotherapy will help to gradually build strength around the joint and increase flexibility and movement. It is important to allow sufficient rest periods between demanding sessions of physical activity. Exercises and stretches will help to increase flexibility and strength; this will help to prevent injuries in the future. Please consult orthopedic doctor or physiotherapist in person for detail assessment and management of your shoulder pain.
