5. Calcarea Carbonica 
This is a homeopathic remedy made from the middle layer of sea shells that has a number of applications. No, it can be taken during menses for spasmodic pain that is dysmenorrhoea. But excess of anything is always avoided. If you want to conceive, take care that you do not take any painkiller during ovulation time.

Check TSH. Often women do not require the tablet after delivery. For weight, continue diet control and exercise.

Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. Of age in males and 18yrs. In females, so very less chances of growing further! but then as well you can take homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - bakson's hite-aid and five phos. - both thrice daily and thuja 1m/ one dose once a week - take them for 1 month only. Management: take milk and milk products which contains more calcium. More of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to take green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Do skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. Last but not least, do take enough of rest and sleep (which helps in repairing of cells and cell rejuvenation). Your daughter is underweight. She needs a good nutritious diet to help her in physical and mental growth. Be creative. Make her food look interesting, colourful. You can cut paranthas, sandwiches in interesting shapes n serve with jam/ green chutney/ salsa/cucumber raita etc. Involve her in grocery n fruit/ veg shopping. Tell her what you r buying and why shd we eat it. Make meal times a family affair. Let the whole family sit together, serve the food nicely and involve her in setting up the table etc. You can add vegs to khicdi/ dalia/ upma or make veg soup/ tikkis/idlis / paranthas. Dals / chanas can b sprouted and given as colourful tasty salad. Fruits can be served as shakes/ smoothies/ custard/ pies etc. Give her a variety of foods n flavours. Do not give her junk food or aerated drinks bcos they r addictive n very poor in nutritional value. You can give her homoeopathic alfalfa tonic (paediatric)/1 tsp/ twice a day 30 minutes before meals for 10 days. Bringing up children is a task that requires a lot of skill and patience. Pain In Hands - How Massaging Can Help Get Relief?

The human hand is made up of 27 bones and a number of tendons and ligaments. An injury to any one of these bones or a disease that affects the bones and ligaments can make you experience excruciating pain in your hands. This pain can affect your ability to perform simple day to day tasks like holding a spoon or writing. Some common reasons your hand may pain are muscle strains, fractures, arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Apart from pain relieving medication, there are a number of ways you can deal with this pain.

  1. Hot and cold compresses: Hot and cold therapy is ideal for any type of muscle or ligament injury. A cold compress helps in reducing the pain and inflammation by constricting blood vessels and numbing the area. On the other hand, a hot compress dilates blood vessels and increases the flow of blood and oxygen to the affected area. Ideally, the two should be used alternatively for 10 to 20 minutes each. A bag of frozen vegetables or ice wrapped in a towel makes an easy cold compress. To treat your hand with heat, use a moist heating pad or a hot water bottle. You could also dip your hands in warm water.
  2. Massage: A massage is a great way to treat hand pain that results from carpal tunnel syndrome. If the exact cause of pain is not known, massage the entire hand, wrist and forearm. A massage enhances blood flow to the area and hence improves flexibility and opens locked tendons. Using a few drops of essential oils such as lavender or rosemary can also aid in relieving hand pain.
  3. Hand exercises: If your work involves repetitive actions like typing, knitting or embroidery, the muscles in your hand can get locked into position thereby, causing pain and discomfort. To relieve this it is important to take a break from this repetitive exercise every hour and flex your hand. Try bending your fingers forwards and backwards and rotating your wrists in both directions to ensure that your joints remain smooth.
  4. Epsom salt water bath: For instant relief from intense hand pain, soak your hands in a bath made of hot water and epsom salts for 10 to 20 minutes. Follow this by wrapping your hands in a warm, wet washcloth and applying gentle pressure over the hand for 5-10 minutes. You should instantly feel relief from the pain and experience increased the flexibility of hand.

One of the first things people cut when trying to lose weight are carbohydrates. Thus, add them back to your diet when you are trying to gain weight! The key is choosing carbohydrates that have nutritional value. Potatoes are a great choice because they?re high in protein (really!), full of fiber, and contain a ton of vitamin C. Eat potatoes with the skin on for optimum nutrition. Once they?re peeled, the protein is cut in half. Also, you can mix it up with mini reds and sweet potatoes that pack more flavor that white potatoes. Almonds are a great choice, while macadamia nuts are very high in fat. Mixed nuts are a great option because you can get the nutritional benefit of many varieties in one snack.

Hi, Thank you for your query. We will be happy to help you. Have fruit shakes/ milk/ smoothies etc. Everyday (1 or two glasses). Have various dry fruits and nuts daily (4-5 dates, raisins, almonds, dried fig etc.). Have one large or two medium sized bananas daily. Increase the amount of dal, beans or lentils that you have everyday. If you eat non veg then eat it more often. Consume dairy products such as cheese regularly. We are here to guide you.
