As you are suffering from high blood sugar with high BP along with increased creatinine it is better to start with rapid insulin both every breakfast, lunch, dinner and at bed time lantus can be taken according to your blood sugar levels, after getting near normal sugar levels with creatinine levels then you can take tablet with minimal dose of insulin. This line of management will improve your overall general condition. Do not forget to follow timely food intake with reduced salt and oil along with proper physical activity. You should check blood sugars with glucometer before breakfast, lunch and dinner accordingly insulin dose to be planned, whenever you get low sugar that to be corrected with some snacks like, Marie lite biscuits and other easily digestible food, next dose of insulin should be reduced one or 2 units of insulin. I think this management will give good improvement. All the best.

Namastey Excess blood sugar in the body usually gets stored in the liver for later use, but when it goes beyond the normal range it gets converted to cholesterol which is bad for a CABG patient. coconut water has good amount of nutrients especially potassium which helps in controlling blood.pressure. However it can also increase blood.sugars so keep a watch on it. If patient also has kidney problems you need to watch the potassium levels.

For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Avoid bakery products. Avoid too much rice and potato. Avoid fried stuff. Avoid chocolate, cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and fruit juices. Eat lots of vegetables. Walk for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. Medicine and insulin will work better if you follow diet and exercise. Medicine will depend upon your blood sugar reports.

Hello lybrate-user, kindly incorporate the following protocol- uric acid- to reduce it have 12-15 glasses of water/day, restrict beans, pulses, red meat, cabbage, cauliflower, tea, coffee. Increase intake of fruits and vegetables. Vitb12- its found only in animal products so add low fat milk and milk products. Hba1c- increase your intake of fibre rich foods like whole grain cereals- oats, barley, methi seeds, flaxseeds, salads before meals, eat small frequent meals every 2-3 hours. However it is advised that you consult a clinical dietician for a diet prescription.

It is suggestive of hypothyroidism. Eat a high-fiber diet. Get insoluble and soluble fiber. Limit foods that are high in fat. Choose lean meats. Incorporate probiotics into your diet. Eat on schedule. Stay hydrated.

Dear lybrate-user Madam, Having Diabetes is like having a heart condition inspite of you not having it. So the idea is to keep your sugars in the normal range as much as possible.
